Good eye for colour! I love that hull colour and the chain rigging is cool! good to see the next gen of builders being trained by some of the best!

This is incredible, very very well done! Feels very organic and still somewhat offical! Gorgeous update of a set I have a lot of love for!

Many many thoughts. It’s incredible, the truest form of a 90s UCS iv ever seen, carrying the same vibe as the islanders sets and creating not only a great display piece but also so many play features! The crocodile release pit is very very cool and on theme for the islanders. I love that you understand the building techniques of the time, and colour palate available to those builders and made something remarkable! brilliant entry

I always love seeing these huge builds using duplo blocking to pack out space. You builders are very very talented and that beach area looks great!

I want to think otherwise but I know you’re 100% right. Ships wheel, a treasure chest, a few barrels and probably the exact same sail from the Disney set. Now please spend 200 for the privilege of have these 6 parts added to your collection.

For those who care this is how the guard torsos look with nutcracker arms and legs. -

I absolutely agree with this tally! The feedback and reviews of the top 3 have been fantastic in each entry, and have certainly helped in redesigning builds iv entered! -
I absolutely love this! Bright; amazing play feature; just a cool design!

I think it’s probably a bit of a nod to the audio drama, however we can safely assume the skeleton is that of a pirate, hence the red bandana. If we follow along with skeletons in red bandanas, we have the juniors pirate set “pirate treasure hunt”, so maybe the letter was the map leading to the treasure?

Just a small dock and some rock stairs that connects to Eldorados modules. Might add a small building lagoon lockup style to a later date. Hope you like!

I love this! The plant build is simple yet well done, and the spilt rum is a great addition.
-
I absolutely love the colour pallet you’ve used here! You modern ship builders are incredible, especially the brick built hulls.

Yeah I actually wanna get a grey slope tile on top to tie those parts together better also. -
Even captains need that morning cup of inspiration!

You have nailed every complaint I have about this myself! I might make a few subtle changes to this because I was considering doing away with the bush entirely to free up brick space. With a 50 part limit, almost 20 of those are taken up by minifigs and accessories alone. -

Fantastic review, like most of your others! I was gonna add a musket but I’m literally dead on the 50 part limit, I should probably remove a leaf and add that, the fish on the sword is a call back to the original set, With the 1x1 round being slid over the sword! Was incredibly difficult working with such limitations, and trying to keep studs visible was really hard too. -

Absolutely was. I quite like the nut cracker uniform as a captains version of the red guard torsos, especially with the printed legs. Just feels more “modern” I guess:
