  1. Can’t wait to see! Eagerly awaiting all these phenomenal new builds. Thank you for the kind words, that “chibi” look was what I was going for, monkey reading a map and all 🤣 I knew the flag was going the wrong way but it just looked wrong 🤣
  2. My take which is infinitely less cool than the three in this thread so far!
  3. Seriously though you have done amazing here Phes and I cannot thank you enough for injecting a huge amount of life into a lego theme I love dearly!
  4. Fantastic effort and brilliant competition. Big round of approval for the organisers too!
  5. I’m pretty sure it is. I’m curious to see what head it has, and how much more of the ship is on the back of the shark rock.
  6. The small arch at the side with the lamp seems to mirror a the traditional building convention of older sterncastles of lego ships. I wonder if the pirate skeleton will be included from last year? Colour wise it would match and suit the Halloween theme found here.
  7. Wait… just looked at it again, the red and black bits are a wrecked ship.
  8. Reddits lego leaks group might have the picture
  9. Wow it’s like they are trying to kill this theme. What an ugly, awful, and most of all, boring looking set. If they had gone for classic yellow plates and a shovel I would have been ecstatic, but instead we are “treated” to a rubbish large shark head cave and some weird red stack behind it? Even the raft build looks terrible. An absolute miss.
  10. Oh for sure 🤣🤣 seriously though I love this mini catamaran and would love to see it included in a enchanted island reboot.
  11. This has occurred to me. I would 100% buy a new islanders pirate range, especially if this boat was included!
  12. Couldn’t agree more! Congratulations! marin your entry was absolutely top tier, I built a much inferior copy myself!
  13. Thank you for the kind words, but it’s derivative of the original, their idea was what inspired the build, so full credit to them.
  14. I kind of agree with this. Entering this and having fun / being inspired by everyone’s building was more than enough reward for me, but I think ultimately whoever is offering the prize should be the judge, or trusted, known judges.
  15. The Jurassic world “Owen Grady vest” minifigure is very close, aside the flesh neck. That said on second check the Harry Potter Argus finch in brown coat is pretty much perfect.
  16. Looks fantastic next to the other ships! I really like the remake of this set, I love the idea of the armada even if the sets are lacklustre I still remember them fondly.
  17. Will you be putting this up on rebrickable or anywhere? I’d love to own a copy for myself!
  18. Thank you for the kind words! Tbh iv been supremely impressed by most of the entries. Just goes to show the creativity and talent in the community, I one day hope to have half their artistic ability!
  19. The door and roof of the fort is sublime! Love seeing these updates.
  20. Unfortunately not! I did try to make play features but they just didn’t work out. As I said in the first post, the raft is a very lightly modified 1788, I wanted to keep its ugly, chunky look and I had a large spare flag 🤣
  21. Thank you! I really like the raft pirate, the torso from the swashbuckler looked great sleeveless and the city criminal heads are perfect pirates.
  22. Inspired by the recent competition, iv been doing a little more building, I wanted to do something a bit more day to day, with a small side build inspired by set 1788. Hope you all like!
  23. You inspired me to do a small build based on this idea, hope you like!
  24. Love this! The little magna guard sail is awesome! Never even knew that torso existed!
