  1. Voted, all it does is disappear, no results show, just says "thank you for your vote." It's still broken...
  2. If you could manage to fix the rear chassis and fifth wheel, this would be perfect IMHO. I really like how you did the front grill frame, it looks just like the real thing.
  3. I really like the way this looks! The stickers are very nice. Performance is good, but I understand the issues with the CV joints. I have had a lot of trouble with them before.
  4. TC11 has to be good. The pressure is on @Jim ! This contest is the 40th Anniversary Contest! The bar has been set high... in everything but the official sets.
  5. I must admit, at first I was appalled when Lego began introducing color-vomit axles. However, I find myself using them to distinguish between functions: red is steering, yellow is drive. Original black and gray axles are used in some areas to avoid showing the bright colors, or for other extraneous functions.
  6. Impressive build! Very nice colors, the car looks excellent! Performance is awesome, I love the truck jump!
  7. I am amazed at what you manage to do using only blue parts... I didn't think this was even possible! Excellent model, I really like the accurate suspension.
  8. Two XL-motors is usually fine for almost any model. Using an adder just complicates the whole system and is unnecessary in most cases. What scale are you hoping to build in?
  9. Beautiful! The color scheme looks amazing, I wish I had that much sand green. How well does it drive?
  10. If you managed to build this chassis, you are of a wonderfully high skill level. I don't know for sure how good/bad that turning circle is, but for this monstrosity, that seems to be pretty good.
  11. Very nice truck! Is that just piping for the tank? Only critique I have s that the sides between the wheels look a bit messy. Otherwise, great model!
  12. I meant that I got both of them for that one price, including the shipping. New, unopened sets too. Just damaged boxes.
  13. At first glance, it almost looks simple... Bu a closer look reveals a lot of little detail that form a smooth, flowing MOC. Well done, I really like this build!
  14. Absolutely stunning model! I really cannot believe how much you put into this... Incredible!
  15. Some recent buys of mine: 42054 Claas Xerion NSIB for US $95 including shipping x2 42050 Drag Racer for US $70 including shipping Ebay is the place to search. And yard sales, but that requires a large amount of luck...
  16. This looks great, I really like how the arms can fold and extend.
  17. Well, thank you for the review. Sariel I am sorry you had to waste 2+ hours of your life to tell us this information. I do like the opener, very cool!
  18. This truck looks amazing! There are so many intricate details here, and the trailer is awesome! Excellent work! You said you had 3 XL-motors for drive, is it one motor per axle? Or did you use some sort of coupled-motor drive?
  19. Welcome to EuroBricks! Wow, this is a really nice build! Even if it doesn't work perfectly, the inclusion of all the major functions is great!
  20. Thanks for the review Jim, but I got this book for Christmas, and I love it! I actually have both the 1st and 2nd Editions of this book... 10/10, go buy it here! @Jim When you talk about the gearing chart, it should say "gear ratio," not "gear ration." Very different meanings! That is the only mistake I found, congrats on improving.
  21. @IA creations Thanks for the photos of the engine! I think this will fit great in my new project!
  22. Nope, this is the exact place for your question. If you are sure that the model is 100% complete, then congratulations, it's your lucky day! You have several larger-than-usual extra parts! This happens from time-to-time, as even the robots Lego uses to pack their parts can mess up. For example, I once received an extra 5x7 light bluish gray frame! Someone mentioned getting an extra Claas Xerion tire in their set as well... By the way, welcome to EuroBricks!
  23. I have a rather limited collection, so I totally understand having to use your available parts without buying more just for one specific use, especially these hard-to-find tires. IMO, it looks fine, perhaps if you are able to cover the central 19 studs sufficiently, it will look more realistic. And tires are NOT Lego's strong point! Can you post a close-up photo of your fake engine? I am interested in the construction, as it does not appear to use the technic camshaft parts.
  24. My mistake! I meant these tires, which look identical. I didn't pay attention to the numbers noting width and diameter...
