  1. Would it make a difference which way you install them..? I am looking at them now and it seems it wouldn't matter one way or the other as the wheel offset is the same inside of the tire... What about wobble from the hub...? Does that cause them to rub at all...? I know the play in these hubs is pretty bad...
  2. Not only that, but if you are not a minifigure collector, you can get $100+ just for the Joker and Batman... My wife recently sold the Joker for $60 and Batman for $50
  3. Eric, are those Gold hubs just as wobbly as the LBG ones..? Our 2 sets are coming tomorrow...
  4. I can't believe how big this is... Amazing....
  5. So what is the criteria that makes up a "Child Expert"..? Or do they mean an adult posing as a child..? Apparenty they neglected watching The Lego Movie since the message in the movie was about being creative...
  6. My wife is supposed to build the 42029 tonight.. I am looking forward to that...
  7. Well, the 41999 was limited and individually numbered, which made people jump all over it... Shouldn't be the case with the Tumbler... I am sure Lego will limit this set to one per household...
  8. I asked HUW (who is doing a review on the set) over at brickset if it was using black friction axle pins and I misunderstood what he told me... I do see that he recently posted a picture of that part of the build.
  9. Now that we got the 42029 sets, I finally finished this Red variant(Was missing a 3 x 11 panel)... I really like the combination of the yellow wheels from the Volvo set with the red... I remember this combination used on the Dodge Viper back in the late 90's...
  10. Turns out that it isn't a black friction pin, it is one of these..... I had my hopes up....
  11. Yeah, they're flat silver... Hopefully somewhere down the line we get more flat silver ones to complement these one...
  12. Took the SBrick out for another drive with a smaller, lighter, and all around more fun vehicle..
  13. Or say you drive past an exotic car dealership, should you say "Look at all of those Ferraris" or "Look at all of those Ferrari cars"..? Sometimes things just sound weird... Especially to us Americans... I do my best to not say "Legos" but sometimes it happens... I think the only time that I 100% never say Legos is when I am talking about mini-figure parts... I never even refer to them as Lego... Just mini-figure parts...
  14. I am convinced that no matter how far Lego bends over backwards to make people happy, there is still going to be a small percentage that just wants to attack them... You'll see this with just about any big company that is on top... People are so miserable that they get their enjoyment from trying to bring others down into their misery... Some people just don't like to see success...
  15. Looking great! I wonder what the yellow wheels from the Volvo would look like on it..? I am currently rebuilding my new car in Red and I am using those yellow wheels on it and I think it looks pretty cool... Obviously I know that the F40 didn't have yellow wheels, but I bet they would in fact look great on it... Just an idea...
  16. This is pretty slick... Unfortunately I am all tapped out from the SBrick campaign...
  17. I did have something to say... I said that I never even knew that female torsos had the curves in them until I seen this thread... You attacked me first by saying that i contributed nothing, and that wasn't the truth...
  18. What do you want me to say...? That I think anyone complaining about the printing on female fig torsos and claiming that Lego is selling sex needs to seek therapy...? Sorry, but I didn't want to come off as rude... I am going to have my wife check out this topic when she gets home and get her input...
  19. I didn't even realize that the female figs had that hourglass shape until I just seen this thread, which is amazing because I have 5 of my wife's modular buildings with figs sitting here staring me in the face all night long while I am on the computer or building... Yeah, this is a prime example of a First World Problem if I have ever seen one...
  20. I like to restore and do some artsy stuff.. I also began my second childhood a few years back and started collecting 25th anniversary and up Carded G.I.Joe figures... I was also riding BMX Flatland, but my body just doesn't have it anymore, it is just too banged up...
  21. It was supposed to rain and there was thunder rumbling in the sky, so it was a great time to do some filming at the carwash... I was scared that were going to get rained on before we got the vid done...
