  1. Very pretty model..! Nice looking construction techniques...
  2. So what exactly were you implying then..? The only one that knew about this model up until a few days ago was me.. It's not like there is a team of 10 people that developed this model and one of them went rogue and bought up all of the blue axles, so the only one that could have "Planned" this would be me and as I have shown you, was not the case... You made it sound like I purposely built a model using a somewhat rare color and then spent 3 months buying up the parts.. Hell, I didn't even know exactly what color it was going to be until the middle of January... I posted pics of this on Facebook Saturday night and then people started buying the axles most likely to possibly build it themselves, which would explain the spike in sales this month.. I am actually going to try and build this in all Black with orange stripes, seats, and orange accents... I am currently building 2 chassis and optimizing them a bit... Blakbird will know why I chose this Black/Orange combo
  3. Believe me, I absolutely hated the fact that I was using blue flexible axles, but I had no choice.. I wanted to do a Police type vehicle and it just worked, so I went with it.. the only other option was Black and White, but then the 19L black ones are even worse... I think the colors could be switched with a white bottom and blue top(except for some panels) I did the best I could to avoid other rare parts like #4 connectors and 3L pins with stop in white... There are also Two 14L white flexible axles in the rear... Those aren't too bad though...
  4. Seriously...? Is this where you're going..? See that blue mark..? That represents purchases that you have made for that product... I had 2 of them in my inventory and bought 2 of them from a seller here in the States.. If I bought them all up, then there would be a blue mark next to each one that I bought... Anyone else have any conspiracy theories to share..? Unreal...
  5. This is very impressive even at it's early stage...!
  6. I asked for the thread to be deleted.... I think it will be for the best...
  7. According to the timestamps, he made his comment before you edited yours, so you really can't fault him for something that apparently wasn't there... Or maybe it was... When you told posters that they were correct in post #4, your "Apparent" notion had basically been eliminated as you had already drawn your conclusion... In my opinion this thread should be locked or deleted as it is only going to lead to ugliness...
  8. As far back as I can remember, Lego has always been expensive...
  9. There is actually nothing wrong with it if you know how exactly it is being used.. This is a slick trick to keep the gears and axles from moving... Edit: Nevermid, it has already been cleared up in post #6...
  10. LOL.. No, I am just really excited about this new 1:8 scale model coming out later this year and since this is a Huracan thread, I figured that I would share this new model... Eric(Blakbird) and I recently got Blue Aventador kits and have been building them... Eric actually has his blue one built and is working on a second Black model and really modifying and detailing it right down to the stitching on the seats... The models are amazingly detailed and crafted, but unfortunately also very expensive... Eric has been updating his new progress HERE
  11. Pocher just debuted their new upcoming models at the Nuremberg Toy Fair and the Lamborghini Huracan was one of them... Sorry for going a bit off-topic...
  12. I've throw 100's of cracked connectors and bushings away over the years... Mostly the perpendicular ones..
  13. That is a thing of beauty..! Well Done..! I remember the first game that I ever played with the XJ220 was Need for Speed 2... It was the fastest car in the game.. Well except for the secret car...
  14. Lego doesn't make official sets out of MOCs because 99.99% of MOCs(including my own) are not up to LEGO's standards, plus they already have the best team of designers in the world and don't really need outside help or the hassles that could go along with that, including and most importantly legal ones... As far as MOCs go, It doesn't bother me if people build my models and sell them...If someone wants to go through all of the trouble of gathering parts just to make $20 in profit, then more power to them... As loing as no one else is selling my instructions, I don't care what they do... That is of course unless they are trying to pass off the design as their own and take credit...
  15. I really dig this.. Many cool ideas you came up with...
  16. This is just sooo well done... Awesome model...!
  17. I think the Fire Plane has may be using these in white... Can anyone tell..?
  18. The steering seems a little flimsy... I guess from all of the weight...
  19. Well the 42043 definitely has suspension as anticipated...
  20. Lego had a clearance sale on the 8041 sets at $35 USD each before they were retired... They had a max of 10 per person... I told everyone that I knew to buy them... It took like 3 days until they were sold out... The engine cylinders would also be the newer version... Along with the tan crankshafts and new style pin joiners...
  21. Lego doesn't allow pictures or video to be taken... Hopefully the plane has #3 connectors in red... This would be so awesome if they had colored parts packs... And my ultimate wish... Panel/flex axle parts packs... Could you imagine a parts pack with one of every style panel and flex axle size in like 10 different colors..?
