  1. Well, I've seen the designer's video and it's really impressive, specifically the gearbox and its smooth operation. The only disappointed thing, was the lack of proper suspension and steering geometry in the front. I think that the designers had the chance to use the new hub wheel and wheels in a "pro way" Oh yeah, I remember your builds and still you were close to the actual thing. So, go ahead. It's your time
  2. That's working Humm, gonna search the video in YouTube. Thank you Paul
  3. The link of Jim is a private group. The one that you posted is not available or has been deleted Paul, where do you get those pictures?
  4. OMG! It's so beautiful!... Sadly it's too expensive, but we should understand that there is a lot work behind the model, box and instructions ... I'm curious to see how the designers build the gearbox and if the new hub solves the weakness of the current one. In the other hand, I am a bit worried about the limited availability and how in the short time, the price will rise to the sky I am also waiting the approval to the Facebook group
  5. Hahaha.. I know that feeling . So if you have those sets in mind, go for 42050 as Kman said. The only "downside" are the tire setup because you get 2 pairs in different sizes, but hey! 2 are tumbler tires
  6. Why not order the pieces that you really need? It should be cheaper, I guess. Anyway, from my point of view, both sets don't have enough pieces to build a trailer in the proportions of the unimog. I'd say that the best set for you could be 42029
  7. Thanks for the pic. I understand what you say, especially when the model is based on a 'scrap hauling' machine. But looking at the current scale, TLG could have used another variant of the machine in order to make it "cleaner" and also more functional as others have stated . I said that those are "minor issues" in terms of appearance but of course that is not a big deal or a fail. It's not about details or realistic looking. It's just about appearance. Anyway the set is a great concept and has a great potential to improve it
  8. Humm I see. But looking at the original model, the cab doesn't have such guard (at least in that visible way as the Lego model) OFF. Since my native language is not English, it was quite disturbing search "ROPS" in Google
  9. So you will switch the orange parts for yellow... Well I'll remove them . They make the model messy. As Allan state the problem there, is the proportion. Also I don't understand why the cab window is covered with those black bars. BTW, those are minor issues.
  10. Impressive your contribution to the Technic theme, Blakbird.!! What would we do without you? I am curious, Did you include an article of the 8455? And how much took to create and render the 42043?
  11. It's fantastic Barman! I like the use of the micromotors in the claw because it looks clean... You say 4 years... Well, never late than never
  12. Wow! Finally we get proper pics! Indeed my next set Thank you Effe Wondering how it will works with PF. May be the new pump is also compatible with PF?
  13. I'm so happy to see instructions for this.. Thank you Blakbird and Pvdb.... I can not wait to see the gearbox structure and doors mechanism
  14. Simple but great review. I have mixed feelings with the set. Good parts pack,(Pneumatics + PF + LAs = win-win) but the color scheme is disgusting. The regular green is dull (I really prefer the bright green of 42039) and it's a bit hard to combine with other colors. About the concept of the set, is cool to see many functions in a small size, but finish of the truck is a bit boxy. Just my opinion
  15. Usually, When comes the 2H sets reviews? Is there any info about reviews of this wave? Jim?
  16. Doesn't seem like a bad idea. Even many of the pieces are classified as Technic connectors in BL. So, Technic purists, you don't have to worry about them . The only downside is that after connect and disconnect the joints many times, it will lose some friction, but the advantages and possibilities are much more as sux made with his Peugeot
  17. Great pics, Blakbird. Indeed it looks awesome. What are your initial thoughts about it?
  18. Impressive! The real car has some difficult curves, but you caught them perfectly I'm wondering how many working hours do you spend designing this stunning car. Could you tell us? EDIT. One word: HoF
  19. There is another 42043 C model. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=120487
  20. Wow! It's so great to see many supercars in few pics.... About next colour in supercars, It will depend of the 42056 colour
  21. Looking the recent sets, the 42039B ... The folding lights are awesome... The 42038B is great, but the playability is null But to me the best is the 8258B
  22. This set was the first Technic that I saw in person when I was a child. (it was of my uncle) Nice memories of my childhood Small set, with a clever steering system.
  23. Impressive and amazing as usual, Zblj... I really like the clean look of the cab .. In the other hand, it's me or the the chassis looks a bit bended in the middle?
