  1. Indeed, all the 2H sets are awesome and each one offer unique pieces and functions. But talking about all sets of this year, in my opinion, it's a bit disappointed that TLG is not giving us basic and new useful pieces in the low and mid segment. For example, seems like the only set that will come with a differential is 42056, even when there are sets capable to have one (Funny car, mine loader). To me, the wave of the last year was better balanced in every aspect. Just look at the 42037, 42038, 42039, 42040. From these sets you can easily get useful pieces as tracks, frames, shock absorbers , steering parts, gears and differentials and panels for a price under 100$. Just my feeling and opinion . That's why I will only get the Volvo of this wave
  2. Thank you Jim. Your review persuade me to buy this set and of course, the endless alternative models also made the difference between this and other sets.
  3. Welcome back to Lego bru7us... I will recommend also the 42038 set. It has a great variety of parts and has interesting building techniques, especially the compact gearbox ____ About my last post, I will go for the 42039 and will pass the 42008 and 42025.. I feel in love with those +45 panels, bright green and B Model... I just hope that TLG bring a set featuring only the new pneumatics in the future, something like 8455
  4. Hi. I am not going to create another topic, so I will ask here. Do you recommend buy a 2ND hand PF in BL? What should I consider before buying a M/L motor and BB?
  5. Go for the oldest set with great amount and unique parts that you can find at low price. Personally and looking at the BL prices, I´d choose the 42009 especially for its yellow parts and a lot gears, pins etc (accordin to your MOC idea). If you can´t afford it, go for the 42025.
  6. They must should give us a 30% off for every 2017 Technic set (based on the current pricing) and, in this way, catch more people into the Technic theme
  7. Well, I´ve done another research and the 42008 that comes with pneumatics and PF looks like a good parts donor. Also the 42000 Forget the 42029 and the 42039 because this will be available in the future. So 42000, 42008 or 42025
  8. A LOT, I will post a pic latter. Yep.The Black Gear is for steering (HOG). The axle is hold by a Technic Pin with Pin hole and conected with a U-Joint to the gears. In this way, the HOG is not fixed, so when you push the rear suspension the HOG still will work without issues The tan gear is to operate the mini LA and adjust the seat Thanks to all, I really appreciate your comments
  9. Hi, Everyone Here is my very first Technic MOC 42038 C-Model - Snow Buggy Hope you like it Features - Front and Rear Suspension (Live Axle) (I used the same design of main model) - HOG attached to the rear axle, (It moves acording Suspension) - Adjustable and Working Steering Wheel - Adjustable Seat via MiniLA - Winch with simple lock system (Using another 8T gear fixed) - Exhaust Pipes, Front and Roof Lights Pics Leftover Parts (Around 220) More Pics https://www.flickr.c...157662664400491
  10. I got your point. Seems like the best set for me is 42025. White and orange (42038) make a great combination - just look at the 42052 -. Also It has A LOT panels, and I like the design of A and B Models. We´ll see what can I do, especially when the COP (Colombian Peso) has been depreciating rapidly in the last months. Atleast, buying in BL is still cheaper than going to a local store (In example: 42008 cost here, in a local store 236USD !!!!! ) Thank you Vector PS. I envy you I wish I had another Technic set "flying" over there in my house, wating for a `rainy day´
  11. Hi, I want to get my second Technic Set - Already I have the 42038 and I want to increase my inventory in terms of quantity and unique parts - so What would you say? 42029, 42039/42025 for 20USD more My budget is 100-115USD (20-25USD for Shipping) PS. Looks quiet obvious, and of course, you will choose the biggest sets, but I wanna know if the extra bucks are justified, because my first option is the cheapest one (42029)
  12. Thank you Jim, nice Review It´s a great set: A lot unique parts and not just pins, axles and beams. I bough it to bring me back to Lego from my DA (10 years)... PS. Soon I will post an alternative model
  13. Officially my first post in EuroBricks! Yay! :D
