  1. They could be used with a normal minifig head and the Simpsons head holding in their hands as mascots taking off the custume (works best with the sweating CMF 3 Gorilla suit guy head).
  2. Another great review, thanks! As for the voting, the last qestion doesn't cover all the possibilities. I miss a "I will collect, but not all of them".
  3. Here is my list: 1 Teenager Homer with can of coke 2 Teenager Marge with flowers 3 Sunday best Bart with 1x2 tile and slingshot picture on it 4 Sunday best Lisa 5 Sideshow Bob with knife 6 Moe with transparent mug (no alcohol policy huh? Do you hear, Jack Sparrow?) 7 Willy the groundskeeper with broom/pushbroom 8 Skinner 9 Skinner's Mom with purse 10 Edna Krabapell with an apple 11 The Unibrow Baby (with same baby body part as Maggie) 12 Dr. Hibbert with a lollypop (the same way as in the Xmas Market) 13 Smithers with a photo (2x2 tile) of Burns and a heart on it 14 Comic Book Guy with…a comic book! 15 Fat Tony with a gun 16 Kent Brockman with a microphone I wrote in the order they came in my mind and I went to 16 too soon. There are so many caracters in so many form! Okay, if I leave out the Simpson family (they appeared once after all) there are space for Lenny and Carl, Patty and Selma.
  4. They are great! Just yesterday I thought that it would be cool to have an axe for one of the cartoon-cartoon figures. And here it is! Homer, Bart, Lisa, Krusty, Burns, come to papa!
  5. It's strange it comes with 4 animals and so many bricks, and only one minidoll.
  6. Thanks everyone! And I learned a new word: pergola. It was always "latticed wooden thingy" for me
  7. When I first saw Blooming Blossoms from Kristel, my first thought was "what a lovely green house". And then a few images came into my mind about those lovely roof gardens I used to see in american movies and such. So I thought I build one. Here it is: With a greenhouse, a pergola, and some other plants here and there. Have a nice refreshment under the pergola with your sweetheart. I removed a part of the greenhouse just to see the inside better. This is how AFOLs can inspire each other, thanks Kristel!
  8. My entry for the Micro contest. Based on a lovely guesthouse in Northern Hungary where my girlfriend and I used to spend a few days. And the lxf file: micro woods.lxf
  9. The chicken-box arrived, yohoo!
  10. Golden Halls of Edoras over a bunch of grey bricks yet again.
  11. Let's assume that Itchy and Scratchy come in the same bag. How do you think they will be made? Two minifigures in the same bag? That would be too big compared to other CMFs on the same price, so I don't think it is likely. They could make Itchy similar to the teddy-bear, but this way it won't be able to hold anything in its hand, although it would be necessary (both cartoon figures have to hold some weapon in their hands). So I don't see any good solution making appropriate Itchy and Scratchy in the same bag maintaining their ability to have proper hands to hold something.
  12. I hope it will be sold in Hungary somehow. And now, how to pronounce Nyiregyhaza?
  13. Maybe I missed something, but what wrong did those animal-headed gentelmen do, so they deserved such a violent response? I hope they are not attacked just becuse they are not human.. UPDATE: Oh, they are affiliated with the Black Spire. Okay then.
  14. Entry 2: 3 points Entry 5: 2 points Entry 4: 1 points
  15. What a cute dragon Daisy is! Let me scratch her belly, you little chump, you..
  16. Very lovely flowers and plants there! The whole house looks nice, but that is the highlight for me What would be even greater is to builda small garden to the roof.
  17. Yeah, and it would be better if those strings existed in a shorter form as well. Now I couldn't use them for the vines above the small building. One drawback of LDD that I can't use strings :) As for the parts-in-which-color issue: For most of my builds I try to use every brick in existing color. It takes some time to check it, but bricklink makes it quite fast. Of course I don't check every bricks, like a 1x2 plate, for those I assume that they exist in the most common colors (I check even those for such rare colors as silver or gold). When I build a conception art, something that I wish to see as an existing LEGO set (like and advent calendar) I use every part in every color I want, since TLG can make an existing part in new color for new sets as well. And for the record, if someone calls and LDD build infeasible, that wouldn't bother me. I try to use existing brick not because I don't want my fellow AFOL's to be angry toward me, but because I am such a good buddy :) If someone sees a good idea in my build, they will be able to reproduce it IRL.
  18. Okay, I'm sure I missed something, but I still don't see where the story of Nocturnus (and Historica s a whole) is heading. I see 3 winner's name, but not their entries, their side on the war, and which entry will be the "official" result of the war.
  19. The brick bricks are dark tan as well as the arches. Both exist in that color. Where do you see tan brick bricks?
  20. I realized that AFTER I built everthing in the cellar and I didn't want to put everthing out and back again. Nice vineyard! Yes, the house is not a big deal, the main point is the cellar! Which pieces do you think have unreal colors? I tried to use bricks in existing colors.
  21. Blackberry wine, anyone? winery_01 by Yooha9, on Flickr
  22. Blackberry field and winery at Thorshaven HSS Hospitality: Winery The climate in Mitgardia restricts the range of producible fruits. (Have you ever heard of Mitgardian bananas or pineapple?). Even grape doesn't grow here, but this doesn't mean that these bearded men are without a good booze. There are fruits that withstand the colder weather and wine can be made of it: blackberry! In the southern border of Mitgardia the temperature rarely goes below 0 °C, which is perfect for this black fruit. There are extended blackberry fields just outside of the walls of Thorshaven. The precious wine is sought all over Historica, so many barrel filled with this red gold is carried by merchant ships in the port of Thorshaven.
  23. A small but very neat and cozy building. The legs of the furniture are clever, and the straw roof looks very good as well. And everything else, I just highlighted some. :)
  24. Good idea of a town. The transparent pieces work prefectly as water riplling at the buildings. One qustion: what is Master Koon's head doing on top of the raft?
