After seeing this wonderful little scene by de Gothia, I decided to try myself in Kaliphlin style. Maybe the similarity between that build and mine is too obvious, although it was not my intention to copy it. But I think I will stick to Mitgardia and the buildings with roofs. Lasvor arrived to Petraea to visit his colleague and friend Mahir in his shop. At the sides of the entrance some typical ingredients for southern medicines signal, what kind of shop that is - the Akhenaten giant fluorescent mosquito is really hard to catch! Disclaimer: I intended to use every brick in an existing color.

That's pretty great, especially for a first one. I always liked little details which are new to me; here my favourite is the fireplace with the mudguard piece.

It's funny that someone received his/her 2nd package (Raph's torso) and I'm still waiting for my 1st one.

All the 2in1 sets are essentially Battle of Bricksburg sets, so I think it is covered pretty well. What I would like to see are the Batplane, that crazy submarine, everthing from the Wild West scene. The DC characters are neglected from the sets as a whole, because of license issues I guess. Since they are not THAT caracters after all, only the parody of those.

Oh, there are 4 of them! All of them looks great, maybe this is my favourite. That soldier as he leans back when his superoir yells to him :)

That tree...and everything else of course, but that tree...

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Yooha replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Lasvor is planning to visit one of his colleague's in Petraea, as long as I'll have time to make the rendering.. -
I hope this won't lead to a civil war between the two guilds. That would jeopardize Lasvor's near future's plan..

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

My permission in the set is the following: Anyone (Public) So it's not private. And I checked the BBCode that you said, but it looked a huge pile of characters to me (which makes sense someone who knows what it is, i'm sure). My method is to right-click on the picture -> original -> click->right click->open image in new tab -> copy the web address: http://farm4.staticf...c1b8975b4_o.png And paste this one in the "add image" here when I comment. UPDATE: But this BBCode seems easier as I see. W_pinewood forester 1 by Yooha9, on Flickr Wow, that looks good, thanks pal! -

Why do I don't have a picture (only a link)? UPDATE: okay, it is answered in the same post. I don't know what a BB code is, but here is the picture: -
Review: 40095 Micro Manager -- February Monthly Mini Build

Just for the record: On the picture, the legs are at the tip of the cube, not at the edge. Either way, a nice micromanager, and thanks for the review! -

[Software] LDD2PovRay
Yooha replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I tried to install LDDtoPOVRay and POVRay again and I get the error message again: ldd_colors_declarations.bin is missing. Previously I had other problems but this one is new. UPDATE: The file is here now: c:\Users\Otthon\Documents\POV-Ray\include\ But it doesn't help. UPDATE 2: By changing the output file location it works. A silly question: why can't it be simple? Install, set, run, compute, be happy? Why making magic tricks with output folders and such? -
The bottom piece looks like a regular 1x1 brick in red.

I guess I'm the only one who waits for the Mountain Hut (which I don't see on that picture). EDIT: your photostream is something worth looking at :)

And why are there 2 boxes? -
Off topic: Just a few questions out of curiousity: How big the box is, and what was it made of (hard/soft paper)? I ask because the mailboxes here are not suitable to accept anything that is not soft enough to bend (like a newspaper). So every time that a receive LEGO in a hard paper box the postman cannot throw it in. And since he and I work at the same time, he cannot ring the bell and give it to me, so leaves only a note, that I can grab the package at the post office. Just to know what to expect. Of course going to the post office is not a big prize for some free lego.

That sentence: "I hereby inform and announce unto you that it pleases me to report unto you that..."and after it comes the content The milled stone(?) between the two wall layers are clever.

I don't see the 1st Kaddrie's face, but the 2nd one doesn't seem to be happy about his - short - future :)
