  1. Ha-ha! Nice homage with the conversation. (and the tower looks nice of course)
  2. And relly: What you done with those vines is incredible!
  3. I love it! Simple and clean. I like the roof.
  4. The mother hugging her daughter is really good. The whole collab was great fun planning and doing, thanks everyone for being part of it!
  5. Thanks everyone for the kind words! It was fun designing those instruments. Here it is! The rendering was done using LDDtoPOVRay and POVRay. I had that question in my mind as well, but I didn't want to be THAT realistic. The elevator would take too much space. You can take the heavy equipment carefully using the stairs. Uh, there is a huge storehouse in the next building, it is only the display area.
  6. An old building that houses a hardware store. Ground floor - Household Equipment 1st floor - Construction 2nd floor - Garden Department Some details
  7. The alley between the two house is a nice idea fro a modular structure. But why didn't you use the red cross instead of the Swiss flag? And the "used" sofa in the alley :D
  8. I like the colors, the roof design looks good. I always appreciate rendered entries.
  9. Oh, that's HUGE! The ruined arch is awesome - first I didn't understand what it was: a very leaning tower?
  10. The image CM4S posted is that one (n the right I assume) The picture 8BrickMario presented is not there.
  11. It IS a build. And no, I don't think so. It is just good for me as it is now.
  12. I like that this vignette is that popular, thanks! Yes, I used only large glass bottles, everything else (tubing, support) is made of metal tubes and claws.
  13. And to everyone, thanks. The inspiration were indeed english churches. The roof is connected via hinges, and I wanted to make them a little but irregular by moving them (the system allowed only 1-2degrees), but it cannot be seen on the pictures.
  14. That many green looks really nice!
  15. Wow, that looks fantastic! The tree looks super, and the shape of the building! It must have been challenging building it. I wish we could see the inside better. Maybe putting a small LED inside somehow? Or a candle?
  16. So this is how it turned out. With different color at the coat's edge.
  17. Hi to all, Since I don't have too many minifigs IRL, but love the CMF series and working in digital form, now comes something ultra-purist! Using only parts from the CMF series - without any color change! With these limitations, some characters are..challenging. As a moved on, I realized that the villains of Batman have the highest chance to be made. So I plan to post them in group of 3 - hopefully one in every day - without saying their name. I hope the will be recognizable. The first group:
  18. I'm new in the pirate forum, but I dare to take part in this conversation. I want to defend the dark orange torso design. Although it doesn't look too good on the rendered pictures, the color "dark orange" looks pretty good in real bricks. Let's see these (on the torsos): (different light, I guess) Not bad, eh? For me, regular orange looks too bright and fancy and doesn't go well with the "pioneers at the end of the world, facing lethal dangers" feeling. And the blue doesn't look good with dark orange, it should be red/dark red/dark brown, similar to the above linked minifigs And that sand blue on the 2nd minifig is not a bad idea... I try to make some rendered minifig design in a few days, if there is any demand to it. By the way, what is this project all about? Will TLG consider starting anything according what you will decide here? Or is it just dreaming and speculation? Sorry, but I didn't find a thread explaning all this.
  19. Seeing the Movie Donnie closer it's not that bad. I don't understand why the shell is so high - I mean it is so, because it is like in the movie - but that's OK.
  20. Nice job, the house with the thatched roof and the haystack looks good. I wonder what will happen..
  21. As the rumor of some plague spread across Avalonia, and the gates of Albion has been sealed, people are tend to take seriously any sickness they vitness. The role of doctors and helaers increased as more and more people are visiting them. As many people caused panic about the plague and started insulting people who were suspected to be infected, the healers' houses were not advertised widely. This is one of those houses near Brevis where the sick can hope that they will be helaed...and they don’t have the horrible plague, which is still very little to be known about. Although the healers were aware that this mysterious plague can cause their own death, they were committed to treat everyone. This is a relatively quiet day with only two patients. The healer knew that this sick boy wasn't infected by any unknown disease, but had only common flu. The boy luckily recovered. "Thank God Peter, you are better!" "I still feel a little weak, can we stay for a while, aunt Marian?" Ch. II Cat. B, dG Collab - A Black Day Ch. II Cat. B, dG Collab - Evacuation Ch. II Cat. A, dG Collab - Quaratine Only-existing-color policy is ON.
