I love this contest, this series is my favorite so far - but all of them are great! "If you meet him, just run away!" How sophisticated strategy!

I love it, the music-box monkey man is my favourite. And it looks we had one similar idea.

Since these are not real bricks, maybe this series cannot enter the contest officially. Even then, it was fun designing them. Avalonian minifigs: Elf sorceress The elves of the Enchanted Forest often call the help of great spirits. The Green Knight A hedge knight dressed (almost) all in green. He thinks a little high on himself, but surely skilled with his spear. If you can win him for your cause, he will be a great help – until he finds another, even greater cause! Rebel noble lady Priscilla is tired of being the well-educated and polite daughter of an Avalonian nobleman, and prefers sneaking outside wandering in the forest and practicing with her crossbow. Falconer This fine bird is a skilled hunter if you know how to handle it. Its beak and claws are sharp, wear gloves! Migardian minifigs: Tundra warrior They live in the land of forever ice. The harsh weather made them though; they fight even with polar bears, when it is necessary – what else, do you think, is their weapon made of? The klan leader's wife Even in the cold climate, the 1st lady has to be elegant. Cheers! Miner Working in the mines is exhausting, but the people of Historica need the resources, so he doesn’t complain. Gunpowder expert Some clever dwarfs discovered that some gifts of the earth can be combined into something...exploding! Throw that flaming barrel before it goes KA-BOOM! Kaliphlin minifigs: Jungle warrior In the jungle of Gorr, people dress lightly. The tribe’s females are not less dangerous than the males. With their whip they can travel fast between the trees, and they are deadly with the knife! Sea captain Come aboard and travel with my merchant ship (okay, I’m just an employee of the Petraea Merchant Company) all over Historica and see what wonderful items are harvested or produced in distant lands. Red face of Death These assassins can sneak into every fortress and eliminate the guards without a sound. Whoever saw them and is alive to speak, remembers only a few red streaks. Astronomer The pass of seasons is important for the agriculture, and this wise man is responsible for telling it. Nocturnus minifigs: Cyclops baby Ooooh, you are a cute little monster, you! And look, what a lovely toy bear scorpion you have! Lady in the lake She “lives” in a hidden lake in the heart of Nocturnus. Every man who is unlucky enough to go near the lake, will be enchanted by her beauty. But only for a few seconds, before he hears a slash… Torturer This dirty scum enjoys hurting other people. So his profession as an “interrogator” matches him perfectly. Whatever you know, you will tell him. Even those you don’t know! Bug soldier Not the brightest creatures, but you can hire a swarm of them pretty cheaply. They are easy to replace since the breed like..hmm...flies.

Is there a picture about the dart board? I can read it, but can't see it. I'm curious how the darts can be "stabbed" inside it. And what the dart arrows are. Oh, and the video is private..

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
Yooha replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
1st time I remember of a list before anything official surfaced was series 8. Since then the lists sounded strange at first, but mainly because of translating issues. For example "another vampire"in series 8 turned out to be the man-bat. And yes, there was another cheerleader in that series. All I want to say that everything is possible. As for this list, the Hobo could be a chaplin-like tramp figure. The english-greek-english translation confirmes that. The army man could be some kind of toy soldier, which is within LEGO standards. All the others can mean many things, not necessarely city minifigures. The bartender can come from the Wild West or from a medieval tavern, the thief could be a Sherlock Holmes villain, the horseback rider can represent any period of human history. So it leaves the teacher, the tour guide, the birthday boy, the referee and the mailman as city minifigs. That's not too much! -
Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Yooha replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks for the Mitgardian shield badge, whoever gave it to me. I was absent for the last few months because of IRL issues, and I still don't have time to build too much (even in LDD). But I try to catch up. -
Lovely tree and the roof tile looks very good. And the classic torso for the potter.
-
Beautiful! With the light bricks, you made a very cozy atmosphere. My favourite place is the hidden garden.

REVIEW: 71007 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12
Yooha replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the review WhieFang! I'm glad that the speculation about the dino tracker's/lady genie's hair is over. After these reviews and seeing the details, the urge to buy them as soon as they hit the stores is getting stronger.- 156 replies

These torsos are all fantastic! If you allow me, I used them for some minifig renders. I made a few combinations of torsos/legs/hats/etc.. Personally I think that the one with the tan arms looks the best - that picture with a real Dutch soldier helped a lot. -

Oh, that poor ox(?) is being thrown with mud. Leave that animal alone, you nasty kid. That is many droid arms in the scene! The corn looks excellent!

survey Picture versus Video Reviews
Yooha replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
Definitely picture reviews. It's easier to scroll to a specific part to check something again or just ski the parts I don't care. The linked video is from the better ones, unlike many others. I just checked Brick Show and started one review. In the first and last minute you see a talking head, and 10% of the picture shows the set. Bro, no one cares how you look like, I came for the set review!
