  1. That looks fantastic, I think in a setting like this if all the builds were "new" we would become bored with them much quicker, both in terms of building them and in viewing those of others, so I wouldn't change it even if factually it might be more appropriate for everything to look recently built. The colour is lovely, the tower looks like it would do it's job very well although I don't think I'd want to be inside if a few of those cannons fired at the same time . Easily one of my favourite forts so far
  2. I love it when a MOC looks like somebody did their research or at least thought about the details and your interior really shows that. Good job.
  3. This little ship came about when my oldest son saw one of my ships I will be posting soon and wanted to help, I didn't want him to get his little mitts on that one (he is only five) but he was very keen so we built this in an evening. I appreciate it may not be the most traditional ship but I think it was a good bit of team work The success of the Red Top Rum Distillery meant requests for the finest rum in Nova Terreli came in thick and fast. The Gold Wing was one of a couple of small traders that ran coastal routes and short hauls around the Brick Seas for the discerning rum drinker or those in need of a very good paint stripper. 4. Lovely build, it is packed with lovely touches, your presentation is great and I love the paved sections, not too uniform which gives a very appropriate feel. The arches on the roof, the columns and the market stall awnings are all especially nice too.
  5. Hilarious and I've learnt some German as a bonus - wins all round.
  6. I thought I had already commented but I guess not. You have once again built a very well constructed scene showing good skill but also made it so entertaining. I always rush to click on a new build from you and you never disappoint.
  7. This is lovely, yes the Heart was a bit more polished but this has a real charm of its own. I wish it every luck on the Brick Seas.
  8. Clearly nobody wants that type of sistershipping in the game but it is true to life, there would have been any number of sistershipped vessels because a shipwright would copy his own design again and again. Just to reiterate though, this mechanic has no place in this type of game IMHO.
  9. 1. So if I understood correctly a minig prospect build has to be done manually, how does this actually work? Do I have to fill out an adjudication form or something? Digging Around was my build by the way. 2. Excellent work, really appreciate this, it is clearly working in the vast majority of cases, thank you to everyone involved in making this happen.
  10. That expansion is great, it really improves and already strong build. Very impressed.
  11. Fenix rising will sign up for the dragon's teeth again.
  12. The build is very nice, a few more tiles would add to it but the press and the other equipment and furniture are superb, I'm loving them. Great stuff.
  13. Red Top Rum Distillery is up, adding a small factory to N.T. Mayor Fontonajo, you did mention something about a little incentive for developing factories whenever you are ready my good man. Red Top Rum Distillery (v) by Phadeout, on Flickr
  14. Allow me to represent a small factory in Nova Terreli, the Red Top Rum Distillery, makers of the drink of choice in the choicest dockside rum bars with it's guarantee that "your eyesight will return within two days or your money back" it has proven already to be a hit in the dock district. It is based in a former residence which has gone to ruin as has the rest of the neighbourhood, although business is picking up again you will note the boarded up windows, ivy growing everywhere and damaged roof typical of the location. Although the walls add brightness the whitewash is really quite thin and the area as a whole needs some work to get it looking as attractive as other parts of Nova Terreli. Red Top Rum Distillery (i) by Phadeout, on Flickr The interior shows the top floor is where the magic happens with the vats producing both white and golden rum and the ingredients being prepared; downstairs is where the rum ages (but not for long!) and is then bottled or left in casks for deliveries to the local drinking establishments. 15. I will take one share for Alejandro de la Calle and I have paid for it.
  16. Ska I set up a mine but was this month, happy to know in advance if you happen to be rolling dice!
  17. But if it is found to be privateers then build off is the way put forward. If they are found to be pirates via the build off, if that is even an option, then they should probably be put up for auction.
  18. Oooo feel the burn ETWC Come on Eslandolans, we've got to stick together at least in the main thread
  19. Why offer to sell for less than you have to though? Which is where I supposed Kaiju to be coming from - but yes, I am jealous of your healthy discount on ships - it seems so much more fun than commerce buildings being cheaper and more profitable, not sure which is better value overall, I suspect you might well win that one. In terms of the second half of the quote - did we? Us? Respectable traders that we are! - I didn't see it in the KPA in all seriousness. The 1A Pirate captured by us I assume isn't one of yours and just an npc pirate, and if you can't attack those then we might as well all pack up and go home!
  20. @ Kaiju - 300 will get you a shiny new one... @ Maxim - is the "El Polla" actually one of ours though - I don't see it as lost on anyone's list.
  21. I now have an F4 key, an F6 key and a worn nub of black plastic in the middle...
  22. I'm a strictly nocturnal builder so unless I have a photo afternoon once a week it is going to be neon tubes in the basement until further notice. Thanks for the info though Garmadon
  23. Ha, thanks - I'm sure I'm going to get some obscure mineral that completely invalidates this build but you never know.... fingers crossed
  24. Do you "touch it up" in photoshop afterwards then - the gradient is so smooth I always assumed it was photoshop.
