The Asesino is a new ship, licensed a few days before the month ended, not sunk (yet!) Also can you check my license charges, I thought I could have my 2T as a free license, as I only gave a 1T already, if that is wrong I will de-license the 1T and go from there. If I have been overcharged then can it be fixed please and thank you. Phadeout

I didn't really see it in the WIP pics I saw but the aqueduct looks amazing, the water is sooo good and the transition into the irrigation channels is perfect too. Hats off to you.

[MCTC Cotton - 2] Inspection continues at the barn
Phadeout replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Loving the barn, it really is huge - but beautifully done too. Loving the cart as well, all in all a fantastic build. -
Well if you think you can improve on the waterfall I look forward very much to seeing it because that one is superb, the whole build is great, the vegetation looks really believable, the obvious limitations of pieces and colours do not seem to stop you from creating a very authentic scene. I am going to have to get some of those palm tree bases, they always look great. Top work!

Here we are at the end of the tour - after everything else you have seen we come to the farm, where the family and the workers get some of their food from. IMAG4060 by Phadeout, on Flickr As you can see the cotton isn't being harvested here although that will surely be rectified soon. IMAG4065 by Phadeout, on Flickr Many of the workers are out on the farm at the moment, the carrots and apples are ready for harvesting. IMAG4075 by Phadeout, on Flickr Apparently a Very Important Person is over at the main house and is asking for some Bardo bacon, it seems it is becoming very well known, sensing the end is nigh Gustav the porker has made a break for it and is dashing off down the road as fast as his little piggy legs can carry him - the cook is furious, the VIP isn't known for his tolerance and the cook is well aware he could soon be looking for another job... IMAG4074 by Phadeout, on Flickr One final look at the farm, hope you enjoyed your tour of the MCTC's Royal Plantation in Bardo, remember the MCTC when you need large quantities of cotton and cotton goods which are available from our factory in Weelond. You might be thinking of this Other Trading Companies If you’re thinking to yourself, "I want to ride my own wave – I want to start my own trading company!" – then go right ahead! Just make sure you receive a royal charter. How do you do that? Easy! Just message King Fernando (kabel) with an application that includes your trading company name, logo, colors (one of those must also be a color of Eslandola), location, and leader. Please note that per the Economic Game System rules, you must have built three MOCs before applying for a company; see the rules page or the FAQs below for more specifics. Once your company has gathered enough speed (as determined by King and Council), it will be added to this list. That can take time; since trade is so influential to the culture of Eslandola, not just any merchant company can win the ear of the King. Be patient and keep MOCing! link then goes to this Trade Companies Participate in monopolies, joint stock ventures… and shape the future of the world. In the beginning, there are only two major Trade Companies, both Eslandian. Both carry their own membership requirements and rewards. Merchant companies will have greater income from some trade items - part of their monopoly. Unlike reality, a monopoly does not mean that other members of that faction cannot participate in that industry (unless your faction has more specific rules). The base rule for establishing a Trade Company requires the following MOCs: A Warehouse A Trade Headquarters A Trade Ship After these builds are complete, you can apply via your faction’s rules to your faction leaders. Edit: forgot to actually follow the link! So I guess the rules are there. Obviously there are other trade companies in name but I'm not sure if they have all followed this system aand are enjoying the same benefits as each other, if any!

[Cor vs Car] A Matter Of The Heart

well worth waiting for - great build, cracking humour, Brunswick getting his shirt off and the faces in the jury changing was the highlight for me though. -
Shameless self-bump as I've added in some newer, and far nicer pics at the end. Thank you all for the feedback, it has encouraged me to try harder with the photos and I am far happier with the second run.

The Asesino OK - so I was proud of this ship and disappointed with the pictures, several of you rightly pointed out that I could have done better so I went in to work and borrowed one of their cameras for the weekend, equipped with a new toy and some determination I took a few more pictures, I wish I had done this before. Although the aren't perfect I can see the massive improvement, and feel it does more to show of the build. Thanks for taking the time to look. The new pictures are at the end (I hope this would be obvious!). This warship has recently been sent out in support of the colonies following an increase in the number of privateers attacking trade routes, sadly too late in arriving to help a tri-kingdom purge the Asesino hopes to bring it guns to bear against any and all threatening the Eslandolan crown’s interests. With a total of 16 guns on a fairly sturdy frame the Asesino can expect to hold it’s own against most of the Privateer vessels but with news that some of our own warships may have been captured and possibly used against us, Captain Fandango and his crew hope they won’t be the only reinforcements arriving in the area. IMAG4015 by Phadeout, on Flickr IMAG4012 by Phadeout, on Flickr IMAG4020 by Phadeout, on Flickr IMAG4017 by Phadeout, on Flickr Captain Ivan Fandango surveying the seas as he commands the Asesino, not as loved by his men as he is by himself, the Captain has a reputation for the daring, but not always the most sensible of choices, his luck has held so far, but can it continue? IMAG4021 by Phadeout, on Flickr The man responsible for running an orderly ship is Sgt, Carlos Enrique Ramos Medina, a mean faced and thoroughly professional marine who ensures guns are always at the ready and the men are well drilled ready in anticipation of the next time the Captain yells, "At them boys - who wants to live forever?!!" Build wise, I’ve obviously been “inspired” by the Brick Bounty but that is a lot to do with parts available - I hope that people feel there are enough changes in turning it into a warship and in general terms for this not to be a problem, it is by far my biggest build to date and the rigging is done to look appropriate but obviously isn’t “proper” rigging – I’d have no idea about the reasoning for lots of it in reality and to be honest although it is something I will work on in later builds, I was happy that it didn’t all fall apart while I was doing it! I’ve decided I need to come up with a better solution for taking photos, my phone just isn’t up to the job so hopefully this will be the last time I offer this quality of photo, but I also hope you enjoy anyway. Ok, so not a bad result and I learnt something! I'm saving this up for the next time I'm told off for not doing anything around the house by my better half.. thanks Garmadon.

Beautiful! Others have given their expert opinions, I don't really know enough details to tell you anything except that as a whole it looks fabulous and I especially go for a bit of inter-faction baiting so I'm obviously loving that figurehead - can the Corries sit back and allow that to go unanswered, hang on where did I put my wooden spoon...- 19 replies

Great interior, simple but very effective, as is the choice of background I really have learnt from Garmadon and you recently about how a build can be shaped by the choice of background colour - I am going to have to invest in some colours to go with my white and black backings. In terms of the story, he is an extremely skilled detective, he is getting to the heart of this very quickly, who knows what he is going to learn though... BTW, I haven't said it yet in any of the detective builds but I love Rhys, the head and hair are super and the look really fits with the character as you write him. Top work.

Colour choices are just right and almost certainly would be stolen if I had enough dark red! The orad look slovely, the pavement is maybe a tiny bit modern but not necessarily, this is the Eslandolan capital in the new world after all - I hear that Mayor Fontonajo is all about civic development The roof is a bit of a highlight for me, just looks perfect with the other colours and the style is very very nice.
