  1. Quite curious that they cancelled Boba and Luke/Yoda. Those two would definitely fly off the shelves. I wonder if Brickheadz aren’t selling well enough?
  2. @Ngoc Nguyen Can you keep an eye out for where the 58-ish white 1L liftarms go? EDIT: Never mind, just remembered that they’re not your pics
  3. I’m not sure I understand how people think a sawing function could be implemented
  4. Sorry I misread the original comment. I’m not sure about a second pulley. I was just talking about modifying the existing pulley in the set.
  5. In theory since the cable will move down as fast as the rack moves up, the fork should rise twice as far, assuming it can travel that high at all.
  6. To make the boom raise further, you could attach a cable drum to the 8T gear that extends the gear rack. That would make it wind up as the fork rises. I’d think that just redesigning the boom without the rack would be a better solution. The rack blocks the driver’s view massively.
  7. Now that Clone Wars is finally being finished, I really hope we’ll get a UCS Venator Star Destroyer in the close future.
  8. You’d think some of those 4k pieces would’ve gone into the base to reinforce it ):
  9. @Jim Surely you can just quote a post and then when you press save it merges them, no?
  10. Holy titties my bad hahah. I’m a bit deaf in the eyes
  11. Oh man not this discussion again Check out the other photos, not just M_Longer’s one - it’s dark blue. Also, it still looks dark blue in that photo above.
  12. How difficult would it be to do CLAAS hub driven steering? Could you have the U-joint connected to the hub and the CV joint to the differential?
  13. I’m more surprised at the silver fan than anything. Looks like we might get a peak at the innards.
  14. Is that reverse Ackermann geometry? Because it looks like reverse Ackermann geometry
  15. Sorry if my original comment sounded harsh, that wasn’t my intention. I’m not so sure they’d be indicating functionality, given there’s almost 50 of them. We’ll just have to wait and see
  16. Or because it was the cheapest option to just use that colour this time round. I’m willing to bet there’s some sort of algorithm that calculates the cheapest colour option for a piece based on multiple variables to do with the production line.
  17. Very interested as to how you’re gonna drive those linear actuators given the arms are so low :o I’d like to propose three more ideas: 1. Three-stage boom (or thicker two stage boom) 2. Two sprung pendular axles 3. Stronger chassis structure that minimises flexing in the stock model. On the topic of a brick built linear actuator @Cumulonimbus, is a pulley based LA feasible or would it be too wide?
  18. @allanp Mate they’re gonna do it anyway. This just delays the problem
  19. Awesome , cheers @Thirdwigg! I’m gonna give this a go tomorrow but in lime, since I don’t have yellow wheels to work with. I’ll also see if I can implement the old large pneumatics pump, as well as a replacement for the ballsocket frame since I don’t have one, and Lego seems to have developed an allergy to them since early 2015 .
  20. So was the V-19 confirmed to just be the Imperial Landing Craft?
  21. $329CAD is really good for 42055 actually. Here in Aus the RRP for 42055 was $399AUD after tax. Canada and Aus share a roughly 1:1 exchange ratio. I won’t continue after this comment because we’re off-topic now, but I agree that Canada gets it rough sometimes too. There’s fluctuation in Canadian prices when compared to Australian counterparts. Overall we seem to get similar prices, assuming your listed prices don’t include sales tax.
  22. Yeah Canada got it unfairly easy for the Chiron.
