  1. Dunno why they did a droid gunship, but god damn it looks nice.
  2. There’s an LDD file :)
  3. Hell yes that tracked loader looks sick. Looks like it has a swivelling cab too which I like. I might actually buy that, depending on the price. The Corvette is again what I expected, you just cannot make a nice model at that scale using predominantly Technic panels and beams. That being said, I only really think they’ve stuffed the back up (rear quarter panels are too square); the front’s actually pretty good for a small scale Technic model. Maybe some smaller pieces will be able to cover up some of those holes. Bummed that the cherry picker is what they chose to rehash. Overall, too many cars in 1H. Should have had another small construction set. 2H will probs bring more construction though, so there’s my yearly eye candy quote satisfied. Regardless, I’m pretty stoked with this 1H.
  4. If it was a cone then no, the surface needs to not be able to be unfolded flat onto a table to be considered curving in two axes/directions. I’ll admit, it’s kinda hard to wrap your head around.
  5. They’ll still crease, albeit less. They’ll also however be more prone to tearing.
  6. We can absolutely be sure they’re printed, not stickers. You can’t put stickers on a surface that curves along two directions, or else the sticker creases. On that note, can you not just scrub off the printing to get your nice white fenders? It sounds like you were probably not gonna put the stickers on in the first place
  7. Shame the boat doesn’t have a steering screw :(
  8. Very cool, great work. I love that you can regularly come up with fairly compact yet complex mechanisms like this one
  9. That’s what I thought, but I think only one axle is connected with gears, since in the video it seems that one motor sits closer to the rear axle than the other.
  10. @Sir von Lego Damn :( thanks for all the inside scoops
  11. Oh man those Porsche headlights lol. Not too much a fan of 42096’s massively long front, as well as the wheels looking too small on those fenders. Like with 42056, the rear headlights are barely noticeable and not really shapely enough. Other than that it’s pretty cool. Really liking how 42095 looks. Curious to see how they fit two L motors in such a narrow frame.
  12. I think it's very cute It's really sad that we haven't had a set with the ball pivots for over three years already, they're really useful
  13. Probably not gonna happen since either: A. It’s not safe enough for the allegedly idiot kids nowadays (total bull shit), or B. It’ll put too much stress on parts
  14. Strange choice to give the buckethead guards the new legs but not the sun visor guards.
  15. Yeah they would, otherwise if both were extended then the axle wouldn’t be able to pivot.
  16. @Void_S agreed with the yellow. Orange just isn’t an iconic Corvette colour
  17. The sets look pretty good, better than the 2018 1H lineup at least imo. I’m liking the new large sprockets on the tracked racer. Also really liking the shape of the tracked loader. It looks like it’s fairly fleshed out, if unconventionally shaped. Not too sure about the MLA under the arm though, I think an LA would look nicer. The Corvette ZR1 is pretty on par with what I expected to be honest; it’s annoyingly hard to replicate a curved body properly with Technic at this small scale, so I’d be really surprised if they actually managed to make something that looked more accurate. All that said and done, something pops out: new wheel arches!
  18. So those graduation capped Praetorian Guards do look like they have skirts instead of legs when looking at the new leaks, whereas the buckethead ones have legs.
  19. @JJ Tong (zfogshooterz) I’m working off the assumption that Creator and Creator Expert are more or less the same theme, so the fishing store would fit somewhere between the two. If it came out in Creator Expert I probably wouldn’t bat an eye, since it’s just a detailed building.
  20. A comment on the view that Lego needs to choose a shade of blue - they’ve been using dark azure pretty consistently the past two years
  21. Can I ask what you were hoping for? Actually now that it occurs to me, I really wish the main rotor would be connected to the turbines like in a real heli.
  22. It’s just cool factor, don’t think in to it too much. Also, getting real LMP vibes off that blue pullback, won’t buy but I dig it
  23. Welp it's not a leak so I guess it's not our problem since it's the actual product. All said and done, damn that's a pretty nice heli, maybe with exception to the rear of the cabin - can anyone figure out what the rear panels open up to reveal? The B-model is pretty on par with what I'd expect from a small/medium B-model. I like the use of the rotor blades as wings, along with the swingwings. I'm in support of more concept A-models. I think it potentially allows for more creative freedom and even functions. Just waiting for a concept excavator like the Volvo Sfinx
  24. Probably. Many stores just can’t resist
