  1. Oh it’s definitely the end times :( I hate that they don’t use it anymore The metal will make things run smoother with better tolerances probably, and the hubs themselves will allow more gear reduction.
  2. I mean they couldn’t really could they? That would give away the secret
  3. Still hoping we can one day get a Mega Windmill Transporter type thing with a self steering Scheuerle trailer :(
  4. @jrx Do you know if the LBG ball frame and DBG socket make a return in the off-roader or any of the other sets?
  5. Also it’s gonna be a monstrous oof on the wallet. What’s the bet this thing is $350+ US
  6. What the actual f... this thing is a monster. Also, tell me those aren’t new long LAs. I WANT good lord do I WANT
  7. Oof those are big outriggers. Can they lift the chassis?
  8. We already had this discussion a few pages back - no we don’t have any idea. At the moment it could genuinely be either due to multiple factors.
  9. The reveal had nothing to do with Star Wars lol. It was a 1:1 Lego Ford Truck promoting the Lego Movie 2. No idea what the relation is but hey
  10. Ooohhh that’s pretty slick. I love how it’s got curves like a Bugatti despite being an open wheeler
  11. Lol bloody right? He’s a total no-name that the vast majority of kids won’t even know about. He also isn’t even go by his name if that box picture is accurate, Lego just call him “Resistance Bomber Pilot”. Don’t understand the fuss tbh.
  12. Happens to the best of us. I once built 42055 and at the very end i had an 11L beam as a spare piece... nearly had a heart attack
  13. I assume they’re controlled by mini linear actuators? If so, it sounds like you’ve just placed your tan 16t gears on the wrong side of the actuators. Should be a simple fix, but I don’t know how easily accessible they are (I don’t actually own the set). That or you’ve misplaced a gear that separates the front and rear actuator driveshafts. Either way, not sure we can help you to be honest, you might need to take it apart and rebuild
  14. Bit presumptuous there bud, pump the brakes lol
  15. Good call, uni’s more important. A heap of builders have been dropping out this competition lately :o
  16. That would be so out of place for the SW theme. I couldn’t see that happening, particularly with pink.
  17. Eh I don’t see any reason to change the prefix. I’m fairly sure they switched to universal use of five digit set numbers across all themes to maximise the length of time they could use it for. By 2020, ~100 Technic sets will have been released since the start of 2013. That’s 7 years for 100 sets. If we assume there’s 1000 sets allowed (42000-42999), that’s 70 years worth of sets before a prefix reset is needed. If we assume the theme with the most sets has three times the number of sets per year, that still allows almost a 25 year lifespan for a prefix. If they change the prefix, much like with what I said about people’s wishes for a PF-pneumatic excavator in the wish list thread I will eat my foot.
  18. My apologies, it was this comment that got me confused
  19. Wait so you’re not certain? I thought you pretty much confirmed it was happening?
  20. @Calunca Aw man I was totally hoping for pics there :( Ah well, in due time
  21. I can’t help but feel they’re not related to Star Wars but the Lego Movie 2.
  22. I dunno if I’d hold out for new servos meaning anything. The new large pneumatic pump was introduced way back in 2016, and has only showed up in the set it debuted in. The long thin cylinder is a year older still and hasn’t returned either.
  23. The day I see Lego produce an RC pneumatic set is the day I eat my foot.
  24. I've never seen any reason for not having more than one occurrence of the same new piece
