    Oooh actually I suppose so, I forgot about the obvious big ones. I guess I'm only really looking at it from the perspective of getting a single part type instead of the whole collection. In either case, both sets work together to make a very good parts pack. More <$20 small sets should include mini pneumatics and springs. We need a way to source them on a budget without Bricklink

    Eh, agree to disagree. Springs are MUCH harder to come across than gears.

    I’m amazed you rated the buggy so low, and the Claas so high. The buggy offers suspension in a really cheap set, that has to be worth more than two stars...

    Doubt it, and even if it does it’s entirely unnecessary, since the 4L beam has an axle connector anyway.

    No argument from me there, Xiaomi's mobile crane is a beautiful looking set. Btw, if anyone has instructions to it, please could you send them to me via pm? I can't find anything online

    I mean, it’s got all the functions expected of a mobile crane so idk what you’re on about. Functionally the only egregious things are the outriggers and the lack of an engine, which is clearly because it’s got 4 steering axles. Other than that it’s pretty standard Also, the spider crane is bare bones in its bodywork so it’s hardly surprising this has more parts. This crane is comparable in size to the forest harvester

    Jesus this is definitely not worth the $180AUD RRP. That's almost as much as 42080 and 42081, both of which had far more to give. I wouldn't have expected it to be more than $130AUD

    To be fair, the criticisms are pretty squarely around what we know about it, and it isn’t being dragged through the mud for speculatory things like how well the functions perform. People don’t like that it’s ugly and doesn’t represent real cranes, they don’t like that the outriggers are operated separately and they don’t like that there’s no B-model. Those aren’t things that are going to change when people get their hands on the set.

    That crane boom doesn’t seem to raise as slowly as I was worrying, so that’s nice. Also big lol at the catamaran promo. There’s not much playability with the set unfortunately. It’s little more than a functional display model (not that I dislike it)
