That is the one thing at the museum I will never build @zephyr1934. I could never do it justice, plus just looking at it gives me a migraine!

It's very neat you worked there @bogieman! Also, I know about the 'F', but my LEGO model lacks that detail. Thus my comment about it being unknown which was the front and rear, as in my second picture. You are correct about the fez and technic piece @zephyr1934! I'll also keep your window idea in mind. Thank you!

Bricklink and LEGO.com Account Merge
Murdoch17 replied to Peppermint_M's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My account began in 2007. Of note: My brother also has Lego and Bricklink accounts, and his was not messed with beforehand like Lego suggested some months back to reserve a username, and he was able to get his to work just yesterday. Whereas I changed my LEGO username to Murdoch17 to be consistent (it was this originally in 2007, but Lego forced me off it when they auto-generated usernames a while back), and thus I can't get in. I wonder if that has something to do with it? -
In the middle of last month I finished digitally reverse engineering and modifying the Morticia's Cottage (set 76786) as much as I could from the few pictures available. I have added a few things such as stairs and a conservatory, and I also replaced the drab coloring with yellow walls, green window frames, and white trim. Now, a month after the design was finalized, the model is finished in the real world... and it seems some newlyweds have just moved in! The front of the house without figures or car. The rear of the house features a back door and 'glass' conservatory. The house opens up like a dollhouse in two sections to get at the interior, then locks shut using Technic pins when closed up again. In the left section is the following rooms: downstairs: dining room and conservatory upstairs: music room In the middle section is the following rooms: downstairs: entryway with staircase upstairs: staircase landing and hallway In the right section is the following rooms: downstairs: living room upstairs: bedroom This Ford Model T was inspired and heavily modified from an incredible MOC made by user Calin, as seen here. The rear of the car with spare tire. The car seats one figure. ...that's all I got. Thoughts?

Bricklink and LEGO.com Account Merge

It's still totally broken for me... it's been five days since roll out and I can't log in due to errors on their end - and I'm not alone! My brother can't log into his account, nor my father into his! I contacted LEGO CS on Friday, they told me they'd pass along my message and to be patient and I've heard nothing back since. This whole issue is totally ridiculous! -
In 1948 the Whitcomb Locomotive Company of Rochelle, Illinois built this 65-ton industrial switcher, model 65-DE-17-A for American Steel Foundries - specifically the Granite City Works (of Granite City, Illinois) as their locomotive number 8. The diesel has a B-B wheel classification, cost $49,775 when new, and was built with two Hercules, 4 cycle, 6 cylinder diesel engines that each produced 240 horsepower, for a total of 480 HP. (These were later replaced with 200 HP Cummins engines, giving it 400 HP.) The loco has a top speed of 41 MPH and was donated in 1980 to the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis by American Steel Foundries. My unpowered LEGO version is 7 studs wide with both the front and back ends being identical. Is this the front, or is it the rear? Nobody knows for sure! Thoughts?

I doubt LEGO hung up on you on purpose @DonQuixote - phone calls can get dropped, which is one of the reasons why I use the online form (as linked to above) and / or chat with a Lego rep using the messaging system / email. Calling CS people is just more of a hassle than it's worth!

I just watched 'Where Eagles Dare' again yesterday. Its a good WWII mystery / action film.

The user who started this thread hasn't been on Eurobricks since 2023. So I assume there will not be any updates @Blechbek...

I don't have a side-view of the MOC because the engine is packed away, the best I can do is a digital screenshot - even though it's exactly the same as the real one, minus the drive wheel stand-ins. There is no empty space under the boiler on my MOC. Sorry to disappoint @steele.... Also, thanks for liking my MOC! On another topic here is a related MOC I've been working on for use with this loco: This is a model of a St. Louis - San Francisco Railway (also known as the 'Frisco') wood-sheathed caboose from 1942 that used to be at the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, MO. Not much about this rolling stock is known (or at least I can't find any info!), as it was scrapped in place in 2012 due to being totally beyond saving. As soon as I can log into Bricklink again, this MOC will have it's final parts ordered. The completed caboose will be paired with the Frisco 2-10-0 I posted earlier when finished.

Both of the models featured in this thread together. This 2-10-0 'Decapod'-type freight locomotive was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1918 under contract with Imperial Russia as part of an 1,200 strong order. Needleless to say, after the Communist Revolution the last 200 or so locos were not deliverable. Twenty of these orphaned engines were subsequently purchased by the St. Louis - San Francisco Railway (also known as the 'Frisco') - including this loco, 1621 - and modified from Russian 5 foot gauge to the standard 4 foot, 8 1/2 inch gauge, among other changes. After working on the Frisco for many years it was purchased by Eagle-Picher Industries to haul lead ore to it's smelting plant in Oklahoma, before eventually being donated to the Museum of transportation in St. Louis, Missouri as a static display in 1961, where it still resides today. The 1621 also has a operational sibling (1630) you can see / ride behind at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Illinois. My LEGO model of the 2-10-0 is 7 studs wide, and is not lettered for Eagle-Picher like the real engine is currently. I have instead chosen to label it how it was before the recent remodel, with the only road name visible being Frisco. Truth be told, I borrowed a lot of the design for the 1621 from an earlier loco of mine from this same museum, a 2-8-2 lettered for the Chicago & Illinois Midland. I stretched out the engine's frame, added two more drivers, removed the rear pony truck, and revised the tender and cab quite a bit. (The boiler is brand new however!) The rear of the engine. Sadly, this will most likely be my last loco using small drivers, since Big Ben Bricks is closing / going away at the end of this month... and before anyone asks, I refuse to use 3D printed parts! A view inside the cab. This is a LEGO model of an St. This model is an approximation of the former caboose based on pictures from when it was scrapped and pictures of other Frisco cabooses from the 1940s, as I've been unable to find pictures of this specific car in it's glory days. NOTES: The 1621 steam loco MOC has spurred the re-model of it's stablemate, 4-8-2 'Mountain' type Frisco 1522, into 7 wide with some accompanying upgrades. Keep an eye out for this revised model, coming soon! Thoughts?

I got a message back Lego CS this morning: They told me they are "aware of this issue and are currently working on fixing some issues on on our end. I will send this across to our support team to take a look at." I was hoping to get some LEGO ordered today, but I guess that ain't happening anytime soon. At least they are answering messages quickly, usually it's a couple days to get a response - this response was received about 5 hours after I messaged them, so they get points for that! I will keep you guys updated if I hear more from them. -

Who exactly is leaking this info? Is it someone reputable? I honestly doubt Lego these days would be so careless to allow such a major leak this early. Usually we don't know until like a month or less before the reveal, right? (Especially since they've been cracking down on leaks!) -
If we get more Spongebob, I can die happy. Anything from Hey Arnold and I will die with a big grin on my face.

I'm glad people are able to log in. I've just contacted LEGO CS (as it told me to) to look into it because my email is 'unretrievable' when trying to sign in. Everything was going swimmily until the very last step, too... -

You need a Hulkbuster to bust the Hulkbuster that busted your last Hulkbuster that busted you sister's aunt's Hulkbuster, that busted your brother's second-cousin's Hulkbuster that... (You get the gist at this point, I assume.)
