The Lego minifig and licensed themes are the only things that keep Lego king of the building brick companies. The competition has become very good. Only their minifigs suck and lack of licensing. But MegaBloks has the Game of Thrones license and their minifigs are rather good. You can actually recognize Emilia Clarke in the Daenerys minifig. Also proportions are better.

The Pegasus shield goes very well with the torso from the Paladin CMF. I have tried it. Looks good. Especially with a gold color plume on the helmet and a magenta cape

The prints are really good . Better than the Bluecoats which puts Lego to shame. Did the Dutch really had orange suits at that time ?

I check every day. When they're on PAB, I will let everybody know. Ofcourse after I made sure I ordered some.... hihi

That's why the Galaxy Explorer remake, Black Seas Barracuda remake and the Lion Knights castle 2022 are perfect sets to me : no stickers, a lot of prints, minifigs and no licensed theme. Just Lego perfectionism. And than there is the Lego Deathstar... I am a fan of the original trilogy (have them on Bluray) but I will never buy a Lego Starwars set : too expensive. For €1000 everything should be printed and minifigs with dual moulded legs. They even didn't bothers to include C3po with the dual moulded leg who is available in the buildable C3po. I'm curious to know how the sales of this set are.

For fantasy pirates we allready have pirates of the Caribbean

Cats are the best ! Last set I have build was the new Black Pearl. Got it on day one . Sold the 2 gwp's to make it more affordable. So I paid €285 than. A more acceptable price. Building it was more fun than I thought. Not as easy because everything is black. First time I appreciate that there were a lot of colored bricks inside so it's easier to follow. Fun canon and ruther mechanics. Next set I'm waiting for is the Speed Champions Delorean.

Classic pirates and classic space are not popular enough to invest money in for the Lego company. Castle is the most popular theme from the classic themes...but Lego is Lazy. They just give us 4 new factions, a creator castle and that's it. They rely on amateur designers to design sets for their BDP program.
