  1. Thanks! The ships' parts should (hopefully) be here soon. As a side note, here is a some-what related build: OCTAN Fuels hover - tanker This OCTAN truck is on the smaller end of hover tankers. It can carry Nitros oxide, propane, rocket-grade gasoline, liquid nitrogen, plutonium, oil, and other fuels. Inspired by Bricksky's alternate build of set 60016: https://www.flickr.com/photos/tylersky/13598270465/in/faves-55973205@N08/ This model is made up mostly of that set's parts, with some additions. These include the following printed part: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3068bpb018 for the front 2x2 tile between the lights. This OCTAN tanker has three engines: two sub-light and one hyper drive. (in the middle) LDD file: http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1398109113m.lxf
  2. The Epsilon II space base has just been updated. LDD file for all that you see: http://www.mocpages....1415559668m.lxf Plus, here is the micro space fleet: First off, the Benny's spaceship micro build was inspired by Pepa Quin and his Iron Builder "Comarade Benny" model, (link: https://www.flickr.c...s-55973205@N08/ ) while the satellite was built from a LDD starter model from 2011. Background: The famous Benny the 1980-something space guy is investigating a mysterious signal coming from a region of space beyond our galaxy cluster. The radio signal was accidentally picked up by a satellite listening for possible Blacktron communiques. It is a 16 billion year old signal, which means it is older than the universe itself! Benny will have to find a way to get to the signal emitter, and he may just have a way: a certain blue box and it's owner! LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1415551572m.lxf EDIT: I almost forgot! I ordered the parts for two cruisers two days ago. They should be built soon... the next step is the satellite and / or the base.
  3. That's a great idea, I just might do that!
  4. I already have Benny's spaceship, and I plan on ordering two of the cruisers soon. (as in a couple days) However, the cruiseres have been modified a little: I modified my Cruiser design to feature a opening cockpit (that can seat 1 figure), forward swept wings, and four fixed guns. (or sensors, depending on your idea of classic space) Two imagination powered engines speed this deep space fighter on escort missions with Benny and his spaceship. More pictures coming to the first post! EDIT: done!
  5. I recognize that loco from my LRTS thread. It's a custom engine designed by Williiam Howard (from Flickr) that I modified into that shape. I'm glad it's getting some use, and am hoping you enjoy it, NickRussia79. Keep up the good work, and nice rail speeder! (That's what we call them in USA.)
  6. Town model: Old Stone Bank LXF: http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1414606259m.lxf Topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=101747
  7. Newly minted model fresh off the press: Old Stone Bank I took set the Bank from the 2011 Harry Potter LEGO set Diagon Alley (number 10217) and gave it a make over into a more City-like set. First I straightened the columns out, and added a more protected Bank teller area. I then redid the roof at the cost of the folding sides with a more "complete" skylight. The vault was shortened width-wise by 1 stud, making it 3 studs thick. (plus the door, of course) The sign out front feature the two stickers from the 2014 Getaway Glider LEGO Movie set (number 70800). One says "BA" while the other says "NK". (Here is the complete sticker sheet: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=70800stk01 ) Here you can see the redone teller area, smaller bank vault and a better view of the new skylight. This old-fashioned Bank also features a vehicle: a vintage 1940's armored truck. It was taken from Arkham Asylum Breakout (set number 10937) and modified into a Bank truck. LDD file for the bank + truck: http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1414606259m.lxf
  8. Thanks! I thought about making it into a drive in diner, but I already have two eateries, (and no need for a third!) so i decided to make it into a gas station instead. Thank you. Feel free to use these in your town, as that's the reason i included LDD files!
  9. Nice idea, but you might want to change the wheels and couplers to black instead of gray... they can be quite expensive! Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see it finished!
  10. Here come an update! Modern Truss Bridge Designed using 24 of these parts, ( http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=15706 ) this bridge fits even my tallest trains. It can fit up to 10-stud-wide locomotives, leaving 1 stud on each side for clearance. It also can fit 12 2/3 bricks tall train cars, but only barely: the clearance is less that a third of a brick in difference. The tallest train car I own is this one: a caboose based on the prison car from the Lone Ranger "Constitution Train Chase". (set 79111). This car fits the bridge by a hair less than a third of a brick. LDD file (bridge only): http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1414539136m.lxf
  11. A LOT of town models coming in! Pizzeria LXF: http://www.mocpages....1407259993m.lxf Topic: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=101747 Benny Space Ship Shop LXF: http://www.mocpages....1407339846m.lxf Topic: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=101747 Captain's Daughter Tavern LXF: http://www.mocpages....1407343191m.lxf Topic: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=101747 Tudor-Style House LXF: http://www.mocpages....1407344930m.lxf Topic: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=101747 Octan Gas Station LXF: http://www.mocpages....1407774834m.lxf Topic: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=101747 Bob's Adventure Supplies LXF: http://www.mocpages....1410447014m.lxf Topic: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=101747 V-8 Gas Station LXF: http://www.mocpages....1414426653m.lxf Topic: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=101747 and now for a TRAIN themed model: Modern Truss Bridge LXF: http://www.mocpages....1414539136m.lxf Topic: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=100761 That's all for now!
  12. NEW MODEL: V-8 Fuels' retro-styled gas station is a throwback to the glory days of the Drive In Theaters, Route 66, tail-fins on cars, & full service gas stations. This model was originally built in 2012. It was inspired by the 2011 CARS set 8487, (Flo's V8 Cafe) but made larger and without the launcher and car wash. Yesterday I re-discovered the model and enlarged the bays from six to eight wide, added a rear to the building for the gas station attendant, and redid the curved roof covering the 8 gas pumps. The inside features a clock, four-flavor soda fountain, and the attendant's desk. Their is also a storage area under the soda fountain. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1414426653m.lxf I will probably get this Gas Station instead of the OCTAN one.
  13. Thank you, but the Octan station was originally a 2011 LDD "starter model". i just finished it, put on a roof and rear wall, added the truck, plus some better pumps inspired by a Brick City Depot model my brother re-created.
  14. Thanks! The pizza truck was not my idea, but was included in a official Lego set in green instead of red. I have now added a Fire Station to the first post!
  15. These next Twenty-plus models are all built in the style of CREATOR set 31206, (Bike Shop & Cafe) with each having either removable floors or open on a hinge and snap closed with a Technic Pin. Pizzeria Inspired by the B model from set 31026, (Bike Shop & Cafe) this building was originally going to be hotel but turned into a pizza parlor with an outside staircase and delivery van. This model features seven seats spread out over two floors. It also features a pizza oven and counter with cash register. There is also as ladder to the roof with access hatch. This van is a modified version of what is in set 79104 (The Shellraiser Street Street Chase). It features two rear doors and two side doors, plus the roof sign with pizza. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407259993m.lxf Modern bank This is an update to my previous version of this bank. It features Light Bluish Gray instead of Dark Blue to keep costs down. I have also added a armored vehicle. The rear contains stairs to the upper level, and a expanded Vault on the second story. Also, the skylight has been moved to the rear roof and it does not open anymore. The front contains nearly the same components as the original set. The first floor has a non-break-away ATM , desk, waiting area, and sorting tray for packages, while the second story contains the entrance to the bank vault. This modified Armored Truck goes with the Modern Bank. LDD file: (to be added) Benny's Spaceship Shop! (In his spare time Benny operates a store selling custom LEGO space kits. He also lives in the shop on the second floor.) This was originally was the Pizza shop in set 7641, City Corner. (re-released as set 60031 last year) I added a back based on the Bicycle shop from set 31026, and put in a hinge system with a Technic pin to lock it closed. I then colored it blue instead of the original red and made it into Benny's shop with all it classical space goodness. Benny's shop features a micro spaceship in the display window, rear delivery door, and cash register. On the second floor is the apartment Benny lives in. It features a bed, side-table, computer, micro space layout, and ladders to the first and third floors. The third floors attic is empty but it usually features boxes of miscellaneous stuff. Here is Benny's car. It is supposed to feature the Classic Space Logo on the trunk (via this part: http://www.bricklink...26326&colorID=7 ) Benny's car was made back in 1984 by Universal Motors Corporation. Since 1997, the second gear shift has been jammed, thus rendering the car flightless. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407339846m.lxf Captain's Daughter Tavern This was originally part of set 10193, Medieval Market Village. It has been redesigned to have a interior staircase and still have plenty of room for serving drinks and simple food. There is supposed to be a sign out front with this print: http://www.bricklink...asp?P=2335pb075 The inside of the model features a Frog on the bar (for no real reason), a inside staircase, and a bunch of seating on the second floor. Their is a crude gumball machine on the second floor at the top of the stairs. This is the delivery van for the Captain's Daughter Tavern, getting beer and other assorted alcohol from the brewery. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407343191m.lxf Tudor-style House This house was built from set 10193 (Medieval Market Village). It was originally the blacksmith's which works fine in a Castle setting, but this building is supposed to be from the late 1920's! So I removed the blacksmiths and added a proper lower floor with a connecting staircase to the upper floor. This building's lower floor has a couch and table with lamp on top. On the second floor is my bed and a pot belly stove which warms the house up very nicely. I have a soft spot for this car, as it is the last remaining model I have built from my early Lego career / 2002. I've modified it a lot, but it basically went from medium blue to black, opening doors to no doors, and opening trunk to no trunk and back to opening trunk, all in the space of 12 years of evolving part design. (The original model was the Ford Anglia from the 2002 Harry Potter "Escape from Privet Drive" set.) LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407344930m.lxf Octan Gas Station I built this OCTAN Gas Station from a Starter Model in LDD back in 2011, and have wanted to build it ever since. It features a sign and Tanker truck inspired by 10184 (Town Plan). By the way: The sign features two of this part (print not in LDD): http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=2431px9 Instead of being in the 1950's, I set this station to have been built in the early '60's to mid '70's. The roof for the station is removable, and the bay fits most 16 stud long cars. (but just barley) Any official LEGO City car should fit fine. This truck was based off of the 2008 Town Plan set's tanker. It features a more American-style hood and grille, plus four tank lids instead of the original three. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407774834m.lxf Bob's Adventure Supplies Built in 1898, this stone building was a small mining supply store, selling shovels and pickaxes to the miners from the local quarry and construction workers. In 1969, after 70+ years of business, the store was sold to a re-development firm for demolition. Thankfully, the building was saved through the actions of a local historic preservation group, who then bought the building to be used a a historical documents library. That library was moved to the Town Hall in 1998, and the building was sold to Bob with one condition: to never tear it down or disturb its historic status. Bob then turned the building back to it's roots with the opening of his Adventure Supplies shop which is still there to this day. NOTES: This is a modified version of Olivander's Wand Shop from 2011 set 10217 Diagon Alley with a back and staircase added, plus the expensive sand green and dark blue have been replaced. Also, this building is ONLY open-able up to 90 degrees. The whole 180 is impossible due to the way the original Olivanders Wand Shop was designed... sorry! The inside features tons of bits of gear, weapons, & devices for adventuring in any place (or time). This includes swords and a large mace to spacesuits and laser pistols. Bob's 1978 Nexus. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1410447014m.lxf Backwash Saloon I turned Colby City Showdown (set 79109) into a proper building for my town. It features removable floors to access the interior along with plenty of details. Also, this saloon is named after / supposed to include the Lego Movie mini-figures Sudds Backwash & Root Beer Belle. (NOTE: I have this building in real life now, plus the new "neon" sign. The old sign that was centered above the corner doesn't work in real life. I don't know why LDD allowed it in the first place, as it's an illegal build. The LDD file has been updated to reflect these changes.) This floor features: bar, four tables, several drinks containers, and a printed cash register. This part ( http://www.bricklink...asp?P=3039pb026 ) is supposed to be the register, but it is not in Lego Digital Designer. The second floor features three more tables for those really busy days, plus the piano. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1422741868m.lxf 1950's Fire Station Here we see my MOD of the Brick City Depot (Winter Village) Fire station. I redid the color scheme in some places & added a different Fire Engine. (which happens to be a MOD of set 9484, Red's Water Rescue) I redid the vehicle door connections and put pillars in the corners of the building. I also completely remodeled the roof, adding a water tower instead of the original bell tower. I want to add an old-school air raid siren, like the ones from the Cold War. The problem is I have no idea how to make one. If anyone has any ideas on that, please comment! The inside features a pole to slide on, a equipment locker, and just enough space for the 1950's fire truck. I built this from set 9484, Red's Water Rescue. I replaced the eyes with trans-black tiles and cheese slopes, while adding a grille where the mouth was. I also beef up the rear, and removed the flick-fire missiles. 1950's V8 Gas Station This model was originally built in 2012. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1414426653m.lxf I will probably get this Gas Station instead of the OCTAN... as soon as I build the other buildings! Old Stone Bank I took set the Bank from the 2011 Harry Potter LEGO set Diagon Alley (number 10217) and gave it a make over into a more City-like set. First I straightened the columns out, and added a more protected Bank teller area. The vault was shortened width-wise by 1 stud, making it 3 studs thick. (plus the door, of course) The sign out front feature the two stickers from the 2014 Getaway Glider LEGO Movie set (number 70800). One says "BA" while the other says "NK". (Here is the complete sticker sheet: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=70800stk01 ) Here you can see the redone teller area, smaller bank vault. LDD file for the bank: http://www.mocpages....1414606259m.lxf This old-fashioned Bank also features a vehicle: a modern armored truck. It was taken from set 76105, Doc Ock's truck Heist and modified to follow Eurotrash48903's example of the same type. There are some cosmetic changes from the LDD file to real life, but it's functionally the same. LDD file for the truck: http://www.mocpages....1411148366m.lxf Ironwood Hotel This Hotel was born out of boredom. I was not doing much when I stumbled upon set 7633 (2009's Construction Site, link: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=7633-1 ) and was hit with the idea of making that CITY building front into a Creator-style full building with an opening back. I struggled with the design until i saw some Friends - themed instructions by a blogger named Kristel. (link to her awesome blog: http://modularsbykristel.com/ ) Her "Joanna’s Place" instructions inspired the roof design and the middle floors' windows. Then I combined all that with the HOTEL sign from the 2007 Cafe Corner modular building. (link: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?S=10182-1 ) I threw together the interior, (If you can call three beds and a front desk "interior"!) at the last minute. As I said before, I am no interior designer. The beds were copied from Medieval Market Village (set 10193, link: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?S=10193-1 ) and the desk was a table scrap. LDD file for the Hotel: http://www.mocpages....1415988835m.lxf Barber Shop This Barber Shop was partially inspired by set 7641, (City Corner, link to BrickLlink: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=7641-1 ) and it's bike shop and partially by the works of Kristel, whose Instructions from her blog led me to this roof design. Anyway, the building has a sign out front that is supposed to say "BARBER SHOP", in printed letters. Underneath that is a barber pole and two haircut styles on display in the front window. The first floor features two display heads with vintage hair styles, some chairs for waiting customers, and a cash register. On the second floor is two swivel chairs that also can recline (these chairs were copied from the ones in the Detective's Office modular building) and some bottles of hair care products. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1420591242m.lxf Town Hall (Version 2) This building was inspired by 2008 set 10184, Town Plan. I added a rear to the building in a style like set 31026, Bike Shop & Cafe. The building also takes cues from Scotnick and his modular take on the Town plan set. The upper floor features the mayors office with filing cabinets while the lower floor features the secretary’s desk. The LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1423179603m.lxf Haunted House This build was based on LEGO set 4756 (called Shrieking Shack ) from the 2004 Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban movie line. My revamped version of the set features a hinge system to allow access to the interior while preserving the sense that it is a complete building. The house also has a interior and a secret exit through the fireplace. The house features a secret exit through the fireplace and boarded up windows. There are 10 of those 1x6 tan tiles in this build, and all of them are missing a specific rare wooden board print. (see it here: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=6636px1 ) The lower floor features a phonograph and two chairs, plus the secret fireplace escape route. The second floor features a rotten bed frame. LDD file for the haunted house: http://www.mocpages....1423180399m.lxf Johnny Thunder's office Inspired by the Bank building in set 6484, (Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase) this building features two floors and a "cast iron" facade. The bottom floor features Johnny's office with telephone, hat rack, bottle of root beer, and desk made from crates, while the top floor features the Trophy Room with these items: a Sword made in India out of ivory, a ancient Roman Shield from Italy, a golden Ring of Power from a dark land far away, a silver glove of an Aztec suit of armor, the Spear of Destiny from Jerusalem, a Trident from Atlantis, and a scythe from the Land of the Dead. The Treasure Chaser is based off of set 7622, Race for the Stolen Treasure. (2008's Indiana Jones theme) This is a better version of the Treasure Raider that I made a couple months back. This vehicle features a spare tire, head & tail lights, plus a good old adventurer favorite: the classic two seat piece from way back in 1998 and last in 2013. LDD file for office plus car: http://www.mocpages....1423430126m.lxf Sinister Mansion - Revisited This classic 90's LEGO-styled model was originally built in 2007 by a Brickshelf user named "Widdi". That user uploaded the instructions (seen here:http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=249223 ) which I stumbled upon and built / modified in Lego Digital Designer. I added another story for the tower, put furniture inside and worked a garage into the structure. More recently, I have redone the tower and removed some of the windows. The inside features the furniture from my Haunted House (10228) MOD, including (but not limited to): a Queen size bed, stove, table, phonograph, sidetable with lamp plus the couch. The first floor I has the living / dining rooms, as the couch, stove and table and other associated items are there. The second floor features the master bedroom with a small balcony on the right side. The third floor is the attic, which is empty. The tower / roof (fourth floor) is also empty. This is Sam sinister's personal ride: It is included in the LDD file. LDD file for the mansion and car: http://www.mocpages....1431479292m.lxf Johnny Thunder's office (version 2) This building was inspired by set Modular Building set numbers 10246: Detective Office, and 10190: Market Street. The first floor's look was totally taken from 10246, while the roof details are from 10190. Also, the year 1897 should be above the front door in printed black 1 x 1 tiles. The levels lift off like a modular but it lacks modular building pins, a base-plate and is not the proper size, being 18 studs square after all. Johnny's car is included in the Building's LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1427128673m.lxf Benny's Classic Town-style Apartment This is Benny the 1980-something Space Guy's apartment. It features a garage with dual opening doors on the lower floor for his Lego Classic Space - styled Car. Benny himself (minus his suit's printing, of course!) is there as well. The style of the set is based off half of set 6390, a Classic Town set from 1980. (This set was re-released in 2003 under the short-lived Lego LEGENDS line as set 10041.) Also, unlike most of my buildings, Benny's apartment does not open like a dollhouse, but features removable levels to accesses the inside, much like a modular building. I was inspired to build this model after seeing the dark red half-track / truck in set 60071, Hovercraft Arrest. The model features a row of space-ship styled seats opening doors, and "double" tail lights. (I used a trans-red grille to create a nice effect.) the white tiles is supposed to be Benny's license plate. Here is the LDD file for the car and building: http://www.mocpages....1433945715m.lxf NEW Post Office This is my LEGO town's post office. It was inspired by the B model of Creator set 31026, (Bike Shop & Cafe) and features a detailed interior, delivery truck, outside staircase and a hinge to allow you to open the building. This same hinge system "locks" the building closed by way of a Technic pin. The lower floor features a service desk, mailbox and two seats for waiting customers. The upper floor features a desk for sorting outgoing mail and a cabinet full of dead letters, a list of addresses for my town, and other assorted stuff. This truck is a MOD of the truck from set 10222, Winter Village Post Office. It seats two people and has storage room (with opening doors) in the back for packages. LDD file for post office and truck: http://www.mocpages....1429490041m.lxf OLD Post Office This was my first town building I built way back in 2011. It houses my Post office and features a large bay window. The inside of the model features a work area on the second floor piled high with letters and packages to be sorted. The lower floor features a couple of chairs for waiting customers to sit in, and a counter to add packages being handed over into the computer tracking system. This truck is also in the LDD file. LDD file for this older post office: http://www.mocpages....1314989073m.lxf Model Train Club This model houses Iron LUG, the local LEGO Users Group for Ironwood - area residents. It is situated in an old pharmacy that has been renovated into a display area. Inside the model is the Iron LUG LEGO layout, with a train, tracks, and "water". Their is even a control switch to speed up the train. (in reality the train does not move, being set into the 1 stud wide track) (No LDD file available for this one, sorry!) Grays Movie Theater The theater is modeled after the one in 2008 set 10184, Town Plan. The original upload of this model was in gray-scale way back in September 2014, and this is a colorized update of that model. I was going to name this movie theater Bleys, after the derogatory nickname of the post-2003 switch to Bluish Grey.... but I didn't want to stir up old feelings of resentment and stubbornness, so I named it "Greys" instead. I chose white panels for the windows and theater door because I have seen first hand how bad stickers on clear windows are, (my brother had this set) and wanted something more realistic. If I were to build this, I would use stickers (Shock & horror!) from both the Town Plan theater & Palace Cinema modular building, (as they are of compatible styling) and stick them on the front and sides. The letters G-R-A-Y-S would be printed on 1x1 tiles on the main sign (both sides!)... but the main "now showing" signage, however, would remain blank unless I Can fit the these words on it: STAR WARS - A NEW HOPE to replicate the 1977 showing of this iconic film. My town is set in modern times, so this could create some issues... Here is the inside, complete with Foosball table, waiting seats and refreshment stand. Currently however, there are seven seats in the theater plus the two for the people waiting outside, and one for the ticket taker. There are two soda flavors available, one of which is Sgt. Pepper, a Beatles and a Dr. Pepper reference in one drink! LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1429563317m.lxf Victorian Townhouse This building was originally the Brick City Depot 'Winter Village - Victorian House" model. (Link to it here: https://www.brickcit...victorian_house ) I removed the snow, and sloped-plate roof, and added a back half with stairs to the model. There is even a fireplace for keeping you warm on cold winter nights. The rear of the model features the chimney flue. As usual, this building hinges open and shuts on a Technic pin. The inside of the model features most of my standard details, such as a stove (which is supposed to look like it's hooked into the chimney), couch, vintage phonograph, table with lamp, curio cabinet, and twin-size bed. I have even included a analog clock on the wall above the fireplace to complete the early 1900's look. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1430059147m.lxf Johnny Thunder's Office - revisited original version Since the last time I uploaded Johnny Thunder's office, I did a Bricklink inventory of the parts list and found that the first model is way cheaper than the following versions I made. It may be not as fancy, but it get the job done and looks okay too. Also, I credit Eurobricks / Flickr user "Kristal" for the roof top decorations technique. (Here is a link to her blog: http://modularsbykristel.com/ ) The inside features a new look: a stove borrowed from the Haunted House (set 10228) and a staircase with railings instead of a ladder. The cabinets have been moved upstairs, and the desk has been redesigned as well. This model's LDD file also comes with Johnny's car, seen here in real life. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1430498488m.lxf Grocery Store with apartment This build was inspired by sets 41108, (Heartlake Food Market) 10684 (Supermarket Suitcase), with other sets thrown in as needed. This sign ( http://www.bricklink...asp?P=6179pb086 ) goes above the front door. This poster ( http://www.bricklink...sp?P=87079pb197 )goes next to the picture window. The store-owner uses this torso. ( http://www.bricklink...?P=973pb1935c01 ) The inside (lower floor) isn't my best work, but it gets the idea across that this is a grocery store. The store features tow shelves, a freezer, gumball machine and, in the restroom, a toilet and sink. The upper floor is the super market owner's apartment and is very basic with couch, table with two chairs, bed and TV (with test pattern made from a Star Wars control pad). LDD file for the Grocery Store: http://www.mocpages....1432840783m.lxf As for the models I need to get versus one's I already own, the list is something like this: I already have: Benny's car, Bob's car, Fire Truck, Tudor-style house, black & white Ford Anglia, Captain's Daughter Tavern, Old Stone Bank, Bob's Adventure Supplies, Backwash Saloon, Johnny Thunders car, Sam Sinister's car, OLD Post office, & Model train club. I need to build: Town Hall (Version 2), Barber Shop, Johnny Thunder's office (Revisited Version 1), NEW Post office, & Benny's apartment, Victorian Mansion and maybe the Victorian townhouse . The rest of them I probably will not build. Comments, Questions, suggestions, & complaints are always welcome!

  17. Some (more) train builds: Official-Style Freight cars (Part 1) Topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=100761 LDD file: http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1411686540m.lxf Official-Style Freight cars (Part 2) Topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=100761 LDD file: http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1413560515m.lxf
  18. Lego City Passenger Station This station was designed first by LEGO as set 2150, Train Station. It was recreated by someone on Eurobricks, but had an added "street side", that was almost identical as the track side. I downloaded and added: a expanded platform, made a clock with sign for both sides, and made the sections removable. (Yes, the roof for both levels come off.) I modernized the look of the station by adding a pizza oven with opening door like in set 7641, (City Corner) and adding a safe on the second floor for the station master. Street side of the station. The studs on the wall beside of the clock on both sides of the station are supposed to spell LEGO CITY in printed 1x1 tiles. The first floor features the ticket counter, pizzeria with bar seating and the oven taken from City Corner, while the second floor features the Station master's office, with three chairs, a desk, open-able safe, rotary telephone and several cabinets with drawers. This floor and the roof above it are held on by just a few studs, making them 100% removable, while the platform is a attached via Technic pins. LDD file for the station: http://www.mocpages....1412010310m.lxf Grain Elevator Built originally by my father in 1999, this elevator was never completed. As my Dad did not discover Bricklink until 2006, it lacked several crucial parts, and remains uncompleted to this day... just another thing on the to-do list! I have faithfully recreated the elevator and added some parts that did not exist in '99, such as the red windscreens used a funnel, and a conveyor belt with handle. I also did some major goofs, such as making the building one stud too thin, (it should be 16 studs wide at the base), but I hope I compensated enough by making the funnel tall enough to let the tallest official train car I could think of go through without problems. This view shows the conveyor and handle. LDD file for the grain elevator: http://www.mocpages....1398708090m.lxf
  19. Some more builds just pulled into the station! Official-Style Freight cars (Part 1) The first car is an automobile carrier like the one in set 2126. ( http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=2126-1 )It carries two modern re-imagined versions of the Classic cars from that set. The second and third cars are Boxcars, slightly modified from set 3677. ( http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=3677-1 ) Next up is the fourth car is a water tanker, while the fifth is a tree carrier, and the sixth car is a rock gondola. They are all inspired by set 2126. (The link to that set is above) The seventh car is a modified version of set 3225's general freight car. ( http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=3225-1 ) Finally, the eighth car is a caboose inspired by set 10014. ( http://www.bricklink...m.asp?S=10014-1 ) All of these cars are modifed to bring them almost 100% in line with modern parts and colors, the only exception being the yellow tipper parts on the gondola. (Those parts were last used in 2000.) LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1411686540m.lxf Notes: Personally, I have the original cars from set 2126, and made the two boxcars from my parts bins. The brown cargo car and caboose are not needed, as I already have a general flatcar and the Western Caboose from post #6 above. Official-Style Freight cars (Part 2) These train cars are inspired by official sets & techniques used by LEGO. The first car is a depressed center flatcar, and it carries a re-imagined and updated set 5920 Island Racer from the Adventurers "Dino Island" Theme. ( http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=5920-1 ) The second car is a gondola carrying three huge boulders. It was inspired by set 4434, Tipper Truck. ( http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=4434-1 ) The third car is a gasoline / oil tanker in OCTAN colors. The tanker was inspired by set 7939, Cargo Train. ( http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=7939-1 ) This model also needs two printed 1x4 tile pieces like this: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=2431px9 LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1413560515m.lxf By the way, here is the front of the green automobile:
  20. These MOCs are based on Star Wars models, but they take place in the LEGO space timeline. In my story-line, the Lego Empire has allied itself with the Nexus Force (they have their own thread here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=101620 ) and Classic Space Command. I have built the large spaceship already, and hope to have the smaller ships soon. This ship was inspired by the 2008 Malevolence combiner model. This part goes on the middle of the ship, on both left & right sides: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=4150ps5 It also goes on the smaller ships, as It's the Empire's symbol. The HMS Ironwood was named for a city in the Empire and has been in service since 2009. The ship is a one-of-a -kind, as her only sibling (The HMS Legoredo) was destroyed in the 'Battle for Galaxy City' in early 2011 against the Blacktron. The Ironwood suffered heavy damage in that battle, and was put in space dock for a whole year. After the repairs, she was paired with two Star Destroyers, (the HMS Victory & the HMS Honor) and sent off an a victory tour of the known Galaxy. These Star Destroyers are recolored and modified versions of 2014 set 75033. (Star Wars, Mircofighters sub-theme) The HMS Victory & HMS Honor are identical parts of a 20-strong series of ships started in mid-2011 and continuing to this day. These are second-generation Destroyers, but are virtually identical to the earlier Imperial I class. These ships arrived too late to help in the 'Battle for Galaxy City', but were very useful in the ensuing 'Siege of Blacktronia' (the Blacktron home world) and the reduction of the surface of Blacktron City-world of Almaak III to molten slag. They were paired with the recently repaired Star Cruiser HMS Ironwood and sent off an a victory tour of the known Galaxy, all the while keeping tabs on any enemy or potential threat movements. The heavily armored (and armed!) bridge of the HMS Ironwood has two officer stations and one desk for Admiral Oswald Lyons. The bridge is featured on the micro-scale model by a transparent 1x1 round stud on the spire towards the rear of the ship. 21. Orient Express... in space! (Doctor Who reference anyone!?) Anyway, I wouldn't mind an 4-4-0, or maybe a work-a-day 0-6-0 (with small wheels!) with tender, like this 2009 model by Peter Norman: or this one by Oliver Koch from 2008: (Both photos from Big Ben Bricks gallery!)
  22. This first model is a mash-up of the 2013 Palace Cinema (set number 10232) car and the car from 2002 Escape from Privet Drive. (set number 4728) I added a new cabin roof with bigger windows and made the car in more colors. These variations include: Tan, Red, White, Black, Dark Bluish Gray. Each car has 4 seats and a steering wheel now too, but it still can't seat figures. Here we see the tan version. Rear view. LDD file with all the colors included: http://www.mocpages....1413071878m.lxf This second car model was inspired by the 2008 set 10200, Custom Car Garage. I made the red convertible into a brown coupe. I have updated the model and LDD file because some parts of the old MOC were did not exist in the right colors, so I fixed them. The rear features the tail lights and license plate. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1428415439m.lxf This car is based off the CARS 2 character "Acer" from set 9484, Red's Water Rescue, a 2012 set. It uses a mix of dark bluish gray and lime to give it the peeling paint look. the car is EXTREMELY tiny, being about the same size as the LEGO cars from the 1990's, except this model seats no mini-figures. This car was built in real life first, then recreated in LDD, which is a fairly rare occurrence for me. it is also build able without the dark bluish gray bricks for an all lime green color scheme fresh from the Factory floor. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1412897086m.lxf The inspiration for this next model (and basis for most of it's design) was the 2002 Harry Potter set 4728, Escape from Privet Drive. The car is build-able in five colors: Red, White Yellow, Black, and Medium Blue. Shown here is the medium blue version. The rear view features an opening trunk, which is a much larger version of the one included in set 4728. LDD file for all the colors of this car: http://www.mocpages....1409862897m.lxf This next car is a modified set version of the S.H.I.E.L.D. car from 76004. (Spider Man: Spider Cycle Chase) I took out the hover wheels and removed the flick-fire launcher mechanism. I then grouped the parts I added to the model to make it easier to build. Personally, this car makes me think of a 1980's sports car. The rear of the car features some neat partially covered wheels. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1416423876m.lxf This model is a modified version of the 2014 set 76015, Dock Ock Truck Heist. It was inspired by eurotrash48903 and his own MOD of the set to be 7 wide. I didn't change it quite as much as him, but I did follow his lead in several spot, such as shortening the frame by 2 studs and getting rid of the ridiculously oversized original wheels. The roof and front have been strengthened and a door added to the rear, as their was none before. rear view showcasing the door and rear fender. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1411148366m.lxf Here is a classic 1950's pickup truck: Based on one half of the 2013 Holiday exclusive, this truck features several improvements over the original. It's cab features two seats instead of one, and the paint scheme has been changed to plain black. You can also see the brake lights are located just under the tailgate. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1416927610m.lxf 1969 Volkswagen micro-bus This particular van is currently owned by the Collectible Mini figures (Series 7) Hippie, and his girlfriend. Built and modified from a PDF of the LEGO Rock Band bus, but in red instead of orange. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1416926983m.lxf 1980's Yellow Taxicab I recommend you listen to 1970's singer / songwriter Harry Chapin's songs "TAXI" & "SEQUEL" when building this model. Dual exhaust and fancy tail-lights feature on this model. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1416926658m.lxf (Two of these are need for the roof sign: http://www.bricklink....asp?P=4865pb42 ) 1950's Fire truck I was inspired to build this by CARS set 9484, Red's Water Rescue. I replaced the eyes with trans-black tiles and cheese slopes, while adding a grille where the mouth was. I also beefed up the rear, and removed the flick-fire missiles. The side of the truck features two hoses (one for each side) and the roof has a ladder. The sides also feature 4 hose hookups (that's the pearl gold 1x1 round studs) and two identical pump controls. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1416965118m.lxf Modern Double deck bus (yellow) Inspired by the design of the red bus in set 60026 (Town Square) and the yellow bus in set 7641 (City Corner), this double deck bus can seat 14 mini-figures, including the driver. It features a modular design, and has two doors: one at the front for entering, and one at the rear for exiting. (My brother Austin inspired this mod by giving me the idea for the double deck bus in yellow. He made one in red which he has not uploaded yet. Link to his mocpage: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/94191 ) The modular design makes figure placement a lot easier. Oh, and by the way: The yellow 1x2 tile at the front under the engine grille is supposed to be printed like this piece: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=3069bpb162 LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1417396825m.lxf 1960's Moving truck This model was originally set number 4000008, otherwise known as LEGO Inside Tour (LIT) Exclusive 2013 Edition – Villy Thomsen Truck. (link: http://www.bricklink...asp?S=4000008-1 ) I repainted it a more common-place black & gray instead of red, yellow, blue & light gray. It now features a enclosed cab, and better-looking side mirrors. The top of the cargo compartment comes off allowing for access to the interior. The rear features a trailer hookup although no trailer is included in the LDD file. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1418836166m.lxf 1950's left-hand drive Double Deck bus (black & red) This was originally Scotnick's 7-studs-wide Bridgemaster Bus. I painted it in black and red for Brick Railway Systems and made into left hand drive for use in America. The bus also sports an enlarged upper deck, and a revised front windscreen. The red stripes on the upper deck are destination boards. This model is 100% build-able. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1418417217m.lxf 1950's American Sedan I was inspired to build this model after seeing the dark red half-track / truck in this set: http://brickset.com/...overcraft-Chase The model looked easy to duplicate, but it proved difficult to create an exact copy. I then decided to take it in a another direction and create a regular American 1950's car, complete with tail fins and two rows of seating. The model features two rows of seating and opening doors, (a rarity on my models!) tail fins, and "double" tail lights. (I used a trans-red grille to create a nice effect.) The jumper plate on the rear bumper is supposed to represent a tailpipe and the white 1x2 tile is a license plate. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1418836486m.lxf 1970's Volkswagen Beetle Built from these old instructions by Whoward 69. (link: https://www.flickr.c...57624191463040/ ) I converted this 5 wide car to a hardtop and replaced the wide original wheels with a more Beetle-like solid disc. I also changed the color to yellow instead of green and added a license plate at the back. The car seats 1 mini figure. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1417396431m.lxf 1960's Tow Truck I have modified Tom Netherton's 1969 Chevy C10 Tow truck to suit my tastes. I modified the rear view mirrors, added a different style hook assembly, and removed the doors. (Here is the original model by Tom: https://www.flickr.c...57645284487353/ ) The rear of the truck features a new hook / crane arm. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1420396040m.lxf 1950's left-hand drive double deck bus This is Scotnick's Bridgemaster (UK) bus painted reddish brown and heavily modified to have left hand drive. The model is 7 wide, 24 studs long, and 12 2/3 bricks tall. It even features a handrail at the rear entrance. As an interesting side note, there are 27 1x2x2 trans-clear panels on the bus, along with two brick-built rear windows and the front windscreen. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1420233991m.lxf 4-wide police car Inspired by set World City set 7030, (Squad Car, link: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=7030-1 ) this car is a modern update to that 12 year old set. (man am I old!) This model features an extended frame and new wheels, courtesy of the CARS theme. I built this model for my Brother, Austin, for use on his town. The interior can seat one figure and features a steering wheel. The rear bumper also features a licence plate. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1422742404m.lxf Anglia 105E - Black This car type is famous for being used in the movie "Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets". In real life, this car type was built from 1959 - 1968. The engine was a straight in-line four cylinder, and the body came in 2 door saloon, 3 door estate & 2 door panel van. I built the LEGO version in LEGO Digital Designer and real life. The rear of the car features a non-opening trunk made to look like the original set 4728 model. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1425155138m.lxf 1950's delivery truck This model was partially inspired by set 10222, Winter Village Post Office. I took the original model and enclosed the rear storage space and added a new front bumper / engine area. The model seats 1 mini-figure and has doors in the rear for storage. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1428181942m.lxf US Postal van This mail van was inspired by Dacta - Town set number 9333 (link: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=9333-1 ) The set features a bunch of vehicles, one of which is a red mail van, which I stretched out, changed the colors, and added letters to the side. (these are supposed to be signs, not actual letters) This model was also partially inspired by the United States Postal service vans I have in my area. The rear features two tail lights and a license plate. The rear doors do open and there is space to hold stuff in there. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1423179965m.lxf Bob's 1970's Nexus force - themed car Since the last time I showed off this car, I relocated the rear-view mirrors, raised the front by a plate, and added this piece to the rear: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=15068pb004 Here is the rear of the car. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1430493388m.lxf Benny's 1950's Classic Space - themed car I was inspired to build this model after seeing the dark red half-track / truck in set 60071, Hovercraft Arrest. The model looked easy to duplicate, but it proved difficult to create an exact copy. I then decided to take it in a another direction and create a generic American 1950's car, which eventually got turned into this version of Benny's Classic Space themed automobile. The model features a row of space-ship styled seats and "double" tail lights. (I used a trans-red grille to create a nice effect.) the white tile above the rear bumper is supposed to be Benny's license plate. This part goes on the sloped rear of the car: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=30363pb021 LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1434990478m.lxf 1930's streamlined car This model was inspired by the recent announcement of the Super Man "Action Comics Number 1" exclusive 2015 LEGO set. I eyeballed the model and faithfully recreated it, but it was severely lacking in several areas so I enhanced it by extending the frame about two studs, and added bigger wheels. I then redid the bumper and passenger cabin, which required a new 4 x 8 roof, which is longer than the original 4 x 6 piece. The rear features two tail-lights and a license plate. It can also seat one mini-figure in the drivers seat. NOTE: The rear of the model actually features a 2 x 2 trans clear slope instead of the two 1 x 2 slopes seen here. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1435074997m.lxf Comments, Questions, & complaints welcome!
  23. This MOC's story-line takes place after the first LEGO MMORPG (Lego Universe) was determined a failure and canceled at midnight on Jan 31st, 2012. This story suggests that the Nexus Force (the protectors of imagination in the game) was over-run by a huge armies of Stromlings (bad guys, agents of The Maelstrom, a chaos entity) and the decision was made to evacuate the remaining mini-figures inside Nexus Tower (The home of the nexus force) in the Bright Hope, and head for a tear in the space-time continuum to our Universe. Here is where the story starts: The Bright Hope was ejected from Nexus Tower during the final battle for LEGO Universe, fleeing to Gallant 5 and the space / time rip nearby. With her crew of 1 Grand Admiral (Bob) 6,000 crew, 7,000 soldiers, along with a handful of the best and brightest minds the Nexus Force could gather in their darkest hour. After reaching our universe (and sealing the Rip behind it), the Bright Hope searched for their new home, eventually settling on a small ice planet somewhere near the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy. A base camp was constructed, and after a time, the Bright Hope was sent on a new mission: to make contact with their new neighbors, and forge alliances while defending their new home from invasion from the forces of evil. (The front saucer was inspired by Eurobricks user hachiroku and his version of the 2009 Starship Enterprise.) The Bright Hope is powered by two Imagination Reactors and can reach 70% of the speed of light. It has 510 laser cannons, has consumables (food & water) capable of lasting 2 years, and contains a compliment of 250 fighter craft and 50 shuttles, plus 200 escape pods. The fighters and shuttles come from a landing bay in the center of the two two engine bays. The 2x2 curved slope on the front is supposed to have this CITY Arctic print: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=15068pb004 The Bright Hope's bridge (it is supposed to be located in the 4x4 dish on the ship model) features three seats, two for senior officers and the large swivel chair is for the Nexus Force supreme commander, which happens to be Grand Admiral Bob. The rear of the bridge is the briefing room with a large hologram projector in the center. (The bridge was heavily inspired by the 2009 Star Wars set 7754, Home One Mon Calimari Star Cruiser.) Ship Name: Bright Hope Commander: Grand Admiral Bob Owner: Nexus Force Designer: Dr. Albert Overbuild Manufacturer: Assembly Shipyards Weapons: 510 Laser Turrets Engines: 2 Imagination Reactors Max Speed: 25,000 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 70% speed of light Personnel: 1 Grand Admiral, 6,000 crew Troops: 7,000 soldiers, 300 pilots Consumables: 2 years Max. 24. I have reconstructed the top of your model (only the dish) in Lego Digital Designer and was inspired to use it for my Nexus Force star ship. My brother and me will be building one each, one with white and orange, and the other in white with red. Your model is very cool, and I look forward to building it soon!
