Great idea for a topic @SpacePolice89! Those are some cool old MOC's! These next ones are not mine, but they are my Dad's MOCs from over 20 years ago... I don't have any pictures of mine that still exist. This sand red factory was by my Dad around the years 2000 - 2004 with parts from several supplemental packs of that color available at that time. It does not feature any interior, nor does it have a removable roof. But this thing is built STRONG: you have to really put your weight on it to press the roof together. rear view. The bridge was built in the mid-to-late 1990's by my Dad and features the base-plate from set 6552 (Rocky Retreat) from 1993. The re-railers were added later down the center of the tacks. This double track train shed was built by my father way before I had built my first LEGO system train. It was originally single track and used parts using quite a few copies of set 6380 (Emergency Treatment Center) from 1987. Around 2003, I rediscovered the model and he decided to add a second stall to the engine shed, which he did (using a rather new website called Bricklink) He even added brick built re-railers to in-between the rails. Here is the rear of the shed, which can't fit any of my custom engines or large-N-long official trains like the Emerald Night. The biggest engine it can fit is the original 9v Crocodile loco (4551), which just barely makes it work. At the time of this picture being taken in 2015, this vintage 2000 grain elevator was unfinished. It was then given to me in 2020 because he built a bigger, better one. I have since completed what he started with this MOC. This old gray tunnel was built in the early 1990's by my dad. (I added the tan baseplate and RC tracks in 2022 when I received it from him as a present.) As with his shed, girder bridge, grain elevator, and factory, these were built without the aid of Bricklink as it didn't exist yet / he didn't know about it. I recently added a mountain around this tunnel.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I placed a Bestseller + Standard order on the the 6th of this month. I got my Bestseller in like three days, but it was missing 52 1x4 bricks in sand green. (I have got replacements coming from LEGO Customer Service) My Standard order shipped the 15th and should be here soon I hope! (I was informed after I ordered that I have to move out of my current place by the middle of next month... I don't want to miss half my order!) -
My 2000 Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon

I had 7190 as a young child, and I wish your version was the set I got instead of the hot mess LEGO released back in 2000. -
Sort-of on topic: The pirate lady in tan would go well with this Ninjago fig: Jacob Pevsner. I just need to swap the new figs' head / hair and find two more compatible figs to complete my version of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!

Strange markings on almost every piece?
Murdoch17 replied to ChrisXY's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Mold marks. Typical of a great many parts, and they are 100% unavoidable. It's part of the process of making the parts. -
@ChrisXY White yellows, brown fades, etc. It's just a fact of life, but it's not always guaranteed to happen for every part. It's a variety of factors that cause this: UV radiation, age, slight chemical changes / fluctuations when it was made, temperature of the area where it is currently, physical stress on the part, humidity, and so on. I had a MOC from 2016 where some brown parts faded, and some stayed vibrant. (Then I took it apart this year and a lot of it shattered - no matter what the fade factor was...)

Looks like faded reddish brown to me @ChrisXY.

I don't understand the point of your comment. The question you asked was technically answered before you posted created this thread... it's been a fact since way back in 1988!

LEGO City 2025 SETS - Leaks, rumours, discussion. (Animals too)
Murdoch17 replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Reposting what I wrote on Brickset about the City Tower set and it's subway car: LEGO is giving kids a bad idea with the graffiti on the rail car. There is enough of that vandalism in the world without giving kids ideas that that is ok. Two streetcars in my local train museum were vandalized last January or so with graffiti by teens / kids around 3 in the morning, and seeing LEGO give them and their ilk the thumbs-up for this deviant behavior is sad. -
It's under the Blacktron theme, and has the logo / colorscheme, thus it's a Blacktron set. Gimmicks mean nothing to LEGO designers, they are just to get kids to buy it / them all. Case closed! Edit: Why is the topic title shouting at me @Operacion Saturno? All caps means shouting, after all.

Bricklink Designer Program Trains Sets | 2024 & Beyond

LEGO is releasing all unsold copies of BDP Series 1 & 2 on May 20th, at 8 am Pacific time at the online LEGO Shop. The catch is it's only for US and Canadian residents, and we don't know how much or of what there is to get. But this could potentially mean Old Train Engine Shed, Brick Cross Train Station, and / or the Logging Railway could be up for sale in (probably) small quantities. Be sure to set an alarm as it will all go FAST! (More info at Brickset.) -

I found a builder named jwolfe7 a decade ago who made some instructions for a President's Conference Committee (also known as 'PCC') streetcar. You can see his work here, (including multiple different PCC liveries!) on Flickr, though the instructions link is dead. This particular car that I've constructed based on those instructions is a St Louis one, and is wearing the St. Louis Public Service Company paint scheme worn on PCC's from around the 1940s up until service was discontinued in 1966. This particular car is modeled after one at the Museum of Transportation, car No. 1743, which is operational there but needs some slight work. The LEGO version features two rear lights, one headlight, trolley pole, a accurate number of windows, plus some neat sideways building techniques. The rear of the streetcar isn't totally accurate to the real deal (I'm looking at you, rear window!) but it's close enough for me. Thoughts?

Either Lord Sam Sinister (from Orient Expedition) or Baron Von Barron (from the original Egypt line) are badly needed in my opinion. It's a travesty we have the Von Barron Manor, but no Baron figure to go with it!

Thanks for the kind comment @Daiman! I'll look into adding your rain gutter idea (and @zephyr1934's bay window) in a future revision.
