  1. You can see if you zoom WAAAAAY in that it is indeed 47454
  2. I mean you can see some of the instructions I make here. If its a dense model I will peel the outside and put it after so I can get at the core but most things start on the bottom center and move up and out from there.
  3. Instead of selecting the whole lot and moving to the step over, select a few and say step before. Then the remaining parts are the current and last step. Thats how I do it.
  4. When you get in to the instruction maker, select some parts and then click the "step before" or "step after" parts to move them to a new step before or after the current one. It takes a little getting used to and and multiple sub models have to be created in the editor, not the instruction maker. BluePrint's algorithm for generating steps already is a super feature but once the flow of Studio is worked out, I find it to be a little better because i am not scrolling all over to find the parts I need, I just select and move.
  5. We have some cool new things coming up! We are also introducing some free instructions on our new Trackside Accessories page! Read all about it in our newest blog post. https://www.ironhorsebrickco.com/blog/2018/10/13/mid-october-update
  6. What is the purpose of this? The Ldraw builders like Brick Smith and LDCad are great to use. Way better than the Fusion 360 interface especially without the part snapping.
  7. There was a thread a few months ago that had some similar questions and I made this post:
  8. @FiliusRucilo I love your display! I would love to build something like that one day! Thank you for sharing.
  9. Us too! All of these models are at the 8 studs = 10 feet scale that is used by BMR and many other LUGs. If you have any specific requests, you can send them thru via the contact page. We will be listening to what models folks would like to see.

  11. I like bricksafe and rebrickable for all of my stuff.
  12. Really cool video! sooooo many pieces haha!
  13. Cool ship! I like the original color scheme from a Sci-Fi fan perspective. Its muted colors make it look "real". The Classic space is great too because it brings the LEGO nostalgia. Great MOC!
  14. Does anyone on a mac happen to have the download for this one still? There are a ton of issues with the current release and I want to roll back one version.
  15. Since you will need a 1/2 plate to get to 17 studs maybe something like this? and build sideways towards the left and right wall?
  16. I have sent you a Private Message but incase you cant see it because of having less than 10 posts, you can reach me at my email. It is the same username as here just @gmail.com We can discuss this project more there.
  17. I have not tried JPG exports but can I ask why you are using JPG over PNG?
  18. Ahh, I was just doing some custom flex tubes so that is my limited experience.
  19. This will be especially important. The buildings were over 1300 feet tall so even at nano-fig (1:110 as defined by the Saturn V set) the buildings would still be 12 feet tall. That would take hundreds of thousands of bricks. I see you are new at this so you may want to look at general building techniques and maybe buy a few buckets of LEGO and work out how you might build a few floors at a reasonable scale regardless of color. Once you have the shape and size down, open up a digital program like LDD or Studio and build the rest of the building. This will generate a rough parts list and you can order from various bricklink sellers to get all the parts you need.
  20. One thing that I did not see mentioned was that because Studio uses LDraw models, you can directly import Custom Ldraw parts. On Windows the path is:.\Program Files\Studio 2.0 Beta\ldraw\Custom Parts\parts (the space is required in the Custom Parts folder and if there are and sub-parts, the /s folder will need to be added as well. )On Mac it is /applications/Studio 2.0 Beta/ldraw/Custom Parts/parts (the space is required in the Custom Parts folder and if there are and sub-parts, the /s folder will need to be added as well. )I have found that unofficial parts cannot be added to the unofficial folder. One trick that Philo helped me with recently, was that although Studio doesn't support flex parts, LDcad can be used to make them using the "generate a loose file" option and place the generated file in the Custom Parts folder. Custom parts will have no snapping data but that is not too hard to work around. This also allows the great render to work with flex and other custom parts.Another tip is in the settings, you can assign brick movement to keys so that there is not the need to use the transform arrows. (I use WASD because I am comfortable with that from my gaming days)
  21. Make that 1 billion
  22. @Carsten Svendsen Looks great! Glad a solution presented itself. I also didnt know that the arch parts worked so nicely but I happened upon them after looking at your question. I will probably use that int he future to make a giant clock on a building
