  1. Is that a visiting High Priestess of the Crahaish neh Triuri on the balcony? Those officials should not be discussing matters of state with her so close. While the Crahaish pay honor and respect to the Crown of Corrington, they are Eslandola citizens. The build is wonderfully ornate, with just the right amount of detail and color.
  2. If she has six udders, I can finally have a Black Adder costume party. Have her come with a turnip, and Baldtic will be happy.
  3. Maybe they'll finally do a brick costume.
  4. I get what you mean now. I've never had to use that with BBCode, and the link to the page with all the size URLs was moved several updates ago. I only just now found it in the download section. For my netbook, I just had to type out the new forums URL.
  5. That doesn't solve my issue. URL copying doesn't give the size option. I have just tried to browse Eurobricks on my Windows 7 netbook, it will only go to the Portal page, and doesn't have the regular forums button. When I try to use any link I get 404 Not Found. It happened across all three of my browsers.
  6. That doesn't help when you want to use a different size for the image. I did that a lot, and will need it again.
  7. There are some things I like about the update, some things I don't, and some things I am still unclear on. I like that I no longer have typing issues with my tablet. In the old format I had to use the text coding, or I my typing got messed up (adding spaces, keys not responding, or double typing). I don't like that the text coding feature is gone altogether. I can deal with it, but it will mean more work on my end when I do my large text posts. Highlighting specific text is a pain on this tablet. I don't like the automatic double spacing, but understand why it has to be this way. Using the [SHIFT]ENTER workaround removes the automatic capitalization for the next line. I am unclear on what share coding to use on Flickr from now on. If it is HTML, which I have never used, shouldn't a new Flickr Tutorial be established?
  8. UoP DoH +1 The trunks are a bit basic, but the leaf-work counterbalances it nicely. For the next two trees credits, I will be expecting significantly different designs.
  9. Nicely done, but since Zootopia isn't licensed by TLG, this should be in Special Themes.
  10. A nice build, but for some reason the text runs off the edge of the page. I had to quote it to read it.
  11. 1) Freebuilds are any build that isn't part of a challenge. In the registration thread you make one post for your freebuild list, then edit that post with each new freebuild posted during the registration time period. This is so the guild leaders can easily evaluate all your builds. You can also post your minichallenge builds there, but they must have a notation that it is a mimichallenge build. 2) I am one of the active members who still try to evaluate UoP claims. Blocking a claim doesn't happen often, but since this is about quality, builds do have to meet a certain standard. You will need to make a post in the DoH tracking thread (editing for claims and achievements). Credits should be claimed in both the build thread (preferably in the initial post) and in the UoP DoH main thread with a link to the build(s). If your build falls significantly behind the first page of the board before you receive the needed +1's or denials, you may promote your claim(s) again in the UoP DoH main thread, and will likely receive your answers there. If you get the four +1's you get the credit, if you get three denials you don't, and have to try again. It can take some time for builds to get all needed approvals, but don't get discouraged. 3) I am quite certain that Age of Mitgardia isn't a minichallenge, as it has no end date. It is mostly a way for Mitgardians to develop their guild lands, and gives those who complete it internal guild titles and status.
  12. The Disney fan base is far wider than the FOL community. I expected this to happen. I also expect there to be sell-outs during the gift-giving holidays season. I think the rush for this set will die down some time near the middle of February.
  13. Simpsons Series 1 was available on the US Lego Shop@Home from its release till the end of December that year, alongside the later series without mark down.
  14. To determine what crops yield extra you need to track the yields of your builds and compare them with expected basic yield statistics in the EGS thread.
  15. We have conferred. The commodore's responsibility was never established in the Purge thread. I came late to my first Purge PM because the message system failed to notify me, and I didn't quite understand what Capt Wolf meant about filing. SilentWolf fell into the same message system issue, but I was able to notify him quickly. I think it has to do with how a non-Mod has to set up a three or more member PM. In any event, none of us was declared a commodore, we didn't have a flotilla name, none of us knew we had to do the filing, and none of us had the link for filing. If it had been filed, we would have been in Zone 7, targeting Class 3 ships. I suggest that, should a third Brick Seas Purge be attempted, in the initial post the assigned commodores' responsibility be made clear, and the proper link for filing be provided. This should prevent such misunderstandings in the future.
  16. Correct on my part. As far as I know, none of us were ever given the link to file the paperwork for the flotilla. I had no knowledge that the flotilla had to file the paperwork. That particular idea was not part of my understanding during the first Purge, and when I organized our flotilla's PM discussion the proper form link was not conveyed to me.
  17. The Island Rose (Class 2F) was part of the Double Duty route, Flotilla A. The Dark Narwhal (Class 2A) was part of the second Brick Seas Purge in a flotilla with Puvel's Clearance (Class 4A) and SilentWolf's Don Obello (Class 5LA). I do not know the name given to the flotilla, as it wasn't posted or shared in PM. If both Puvel and SilentWolf agree (check the PM, guys), the plan may be revealed, or not.
  18. Loss of file data! It has to be that! I submitted my MRCA form as soon as the link was available. I trust that Bregir filed the Purge 2 form, because I never had the link. I was counting on this to advance my characters. The postponement severely affected my story, and now I come to find that so much time has been wasted waiting for a result on both my ships. This is what bothers me most, not the loss of in-game income. I have a build ready that was supposed to be part of a mystery story. It would have been part of my post-MRCA/Purge character arc. If I change the bottle for a book, and leave the figs out, maybe the story of The Lost Ledger could soothe some ruffled feathers.
  19. For the Flickr BBCode use, I recommend either adding a line break or deleting everything after [/img][/url] to neaten up your posts.
  20. All I did was try to navigate the pages when I joined MOCpages. It took me only a few rounds before I realized that I was wasting my time. I deleted my account that day.
  21. Yes, I support the Oxford comma. Many of we Bloom County readers support such grammar. Opus & Bill 2016! Additionally, that much discussed text of Garmadon's could have been broken into two, or possibly three, sentences without the loss of cohesion.
  22. Looking straight on like this makes the penguin look scared. Has anyone else seen this?
  23. None of these descriptions comes close to Sgian Ghuin. Good.
  24. I could follow Garmadon's post, but he needs to work on his punctuation. The books I consult if I need edification are currently out of print.
