I've disassembled my unimog now but just looking at these makes me want to rebuild it so that I can try some of these MODs out and a couple of my own. I'm thinking maybe an extending boom on the crane using the new pneumatic piston from 42043 This is a very nice MOD. Roughly how many extra parts did you use to make it? I'm thinking of maybe doing something like this because it looks so fabulous. Good work

Very good universal instructions! Jokes aside though this model is lovely and a very good idea/design. Thank you for sharing this. -

This model looks amazing at the moment and it is not even finished. This will be one monster when it is finished . I especially like the front axle as well, it is a shame that you couldn't use the pneumatic steering set up.- 102 replies

GBC idea - wheels as gears

Me too. I wish lego would bring back power miners because they were really nice sets. -
[MOC] Class 1 unlimited buggy

That is a very nice MOC and it progresses up the ranks to amazing once you realise that it is your first one. Its a lot better than my MOCs because I cant get bodies to work on mine -

[MOC] Dinosaur!

This model made me laugh a lot but it does have some very clever linkages (Theo Jansen linkage?) and some innovative ideas for problems which may have occurred. Great job-I just subscribed to your youtube channel because of this -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
Technic Jim replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
And why not... There also appear to be a lot of new moulds-the werewolf's; head the lizard man's neckpiece. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought moulds were expensive to make so it seems a bit weird for Lego to spend so much money on making new moulds for just one set, namely this range of minifigures -
That is a really clever idea and I hope it gets made into a set via Lego ideas. Good luck

MOC - The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag
Technic Jim replied to cesbrick's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This model is a very unique build and I love it. Your eye for detail is incredible as well -
Really cool idea but a bit jerky; however, I imagine that can't be helped. One question though - are the wheels driven or not?

That is just staggering the amount of detail you have managed to put into that one car. It is so realistic and shiny...

Rubber band boat
Technic Jim replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That is a really neat idea that I will use as a base for improvement. Perhaps I could add a bigger propellor and use 4501130, the more modern floating hull from lego -
[MOC] Hummer H2
Technic Jim replied to Fanylover's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I really like this model and will have a go at building it sometime once I've got enough money for the parts off bricklink. However, not to sure about your name, fanylover - seriously!?
