  1. Sorry to post twice but is this motorised, steered with HOG or just a 'model'?
  2. Cheers, I may buy one now to go and play outside with. I haven't taken my RC creations fully off-road yet because I value the motors to much!
  3. It is a real shame that you didn't finish in time for TC7 because that definitely would have got my ten points. I'm looking forward to the finished model
  4. @LegoCube I also find the lego panels infuriating to use but I persevere because technic is what I do best (although not bodywork, I just can't seem to nail it)
  5. *clunk as jaw hits the floor* *crash as Jim falls over after the most severe, and short lived, headache ever*
  6. That looks really nice. I like your use of the mickey Thompson tires and, because I've been eyeing these up for a while I might finally buy some. Also, what gave you the idea for using a programmable diff?
  7. @ImanoIBB I'm not Leif but that reply is really helpful - thanks!
  8. That car is definitely not crap at all-it is much better than anything I could build. I also really like the virtual pivot steering and the look of that new model?!
  9. Where did you get this set from and for how much. To me, this looks like and amazing set. Also is the motor/battery box better or worse than the RC ones. And, lastly, is the RC remote compatible with this type of battery box. Cheers, Jim
  10. Me to. Was 8420 the last technic motorbike with different sized front and back wheels? The bikes which had that effect looked so much more realistic so I'm kind of hoping that lego will bring back that technique
  11. Cool MOC with good bodywork as well. Out of interest, how many RC motors/units did you use and what type of propeller?
  12. Looking good, please keep on posting your progress
  13. I have just read this entire thread and headed over to aeh5040's YouTube channel and I am completely astounded. This machine especially really shows off what is possible with lego technic and having Blakbird around to explain it means that I now have a good understanding of what is going on which makes me even more amazed. This machine is amazing and so are all the rest on aeh5040's channel. I've said it already and I'll say it again, this machine is amazing.
  14. Ditto. It turns out it is real. I was wondering though what the benefits of having 6 wheels are? Surely it would just increase friction against the wheels and the road?
  15. I really like the front end of that truck and I also like the use of the eagle stickers from set 9394. However, as other people have said, the back end of the truck could do with a bit more work. Also, to make it into a proper racing truck, an RC buggy motor would not be wasted
  16. This is a truly phenomenal MOC which easily matches up to the standard of Sariel's Tow Truck 2. However, I can't decide which one I prefer?
  17. That front suspension looks really good and I agree; you should make it 4WD. Keep posting updates please
  18. Personally I think that this is a lovely, accurate model but then again I don't have much eye for detail Also, can everyone stop pointing out that he made a mistake in his introduction to the model - surely you have better things to comment on like how nice a build this is?
  19. I've got 42009 and hearing this piece of information means I may have to buy this set
  20. I am a fan of Lego motorbikes and this one is possibly the best I have ever seen. Once again you have astounded me with the detail and the easily recognisable shape of your moc. Keep on building.
  21. Exactly my view on things
