I am liking the look of that logo and at the same time I'm concerned by its Sci-Fi appearance that it won't be integrate-able with current LEGO Fantasy like Fantasy Era or Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit... that said both Ninjago and Chima have a few really nice parts for a Fantasy Castle Fan like myself and I hope that will hold true for Nexo Knights as well. Now who do I have to kill to get some actual pictures of the actual sets If nothing else LEGO Sci-Fi Fantasy hybrids akin to something like Warhammer 40K or Titansgrave might now become a thing, and that has got me excited.

Fantastic, like your other builds, I hope you'll make more Fantasy

Thanks guys, in retrospect I kind of wish I tried to fill the dungeon floor with tiles (not sure if I have enough though but I did order some new tiles for my next MOC) and I'm never quite sure what to do with the ground in a cave, also in retrospect I could have at least scattered a bit more rocks around there. I am pretty happy with the swampy top and the experiment room

Aren't Dwarven Cities/Fortresses/Mines all connected, anyhow the technic pin holes for windows or arrowslits are neat, in between there the 1x2 tile is supposed to be a balcony or something else?

Your pictures look fine to me, the Gate looks awesome, the sigils above the Gate are my favorite element too and don't worry about your resources from what I see in your last pic's you already have way more bricks then I do

I like them, especially the solidity and shaping, but I'm curious why are the arm joints different from the others in the fourth pic.

Sci-Fi (Cyberpunk) First Responders Police/Firefighters
Isundir replied to Isundir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks yes they are fully articulated, I'm definitely interested in making more(/improved) builds. I was thinking of making stolen rebel/terrorist something along those line and military variants next actually. -

It's been a while since I've last played Starbound but those figs look great

Excellent micro builds, they look perfect for a LEGO tabletop war game.

[MOC] Confederation Marine Thermobaric Heavies
Isundir replied to Steebles1908's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Of course the entire build is excellent but damn those Flamethrowers are sexy. -
Oh I wonder what is hiding beneath the surface, very nice, I wish I could landscape like that

Ah thank you I somehow missed that.

Greetings, I'm having some serious trouble figuring out roof building techniques that both look good and aren't too expensive, I was wondering if you have any roof building techniques to share and which one do you think is the most cost effective and still looks nice?

Part 3 -Unknown Location- (Necromancers Lair) Kain occasionally gained consciousness, was he still in the ancient tomb? Someone was dragging him along. The pain in his chest was unbearable, as if all his ribs were broken and he could barely breath, yet it seemed as if his chest was bandaged. Still, the way he felt and the fatal blow he suffered he just knew he'd be dead soon enough. When Kain gained consciousness again he was surprised to find himself still alive, an elderly man loomed over him, he felt somehow greatly disturbed by the mans presence. Kain tried to speak but couldn't, the man ignored him as he spoke to what can only be described as the skull of a monster, an eldritch thing from the realm of nightmares. Due to the pain Kain couldn't quite make out what the man was saying, or perhaps he even spoke in a different language. Only four words, what appeared to be names, he could make out due to them being repeatedly mentioned. Nadine Aylith and Abdul Alhazred. Everything faded away again. Sometimes Kain found himself in a prison cell, he couldn't remember what that man did to him, only pain... so much pain. He began to vomit out all kind of strange substances, god's bones what was happening to him!? Eventually a chance appeared, only half awake, aware, he fled... he started running and didn't stop. He managed to get outside and barely even noticed he was no longer in the Lorean Desert, he just kept on running.

Yeah that's more or less my big concern right now, the set names imply yet more vehicles and no buildings, smaller sets forming a large fortress together sounds awesome to me and if it has Sci-Fi influences those can then be removed for people who don't want that.

I wouldn't be surprised, I just hope Jestro is a Jester though... Cyborg Jester...

I really like the MOC but I like the concept of the city even more, I hope to see many MOCs in the future about the city showing all the districts and the citadel

Well they are making what the kids want not what we want (sadly), I'd love nothing more then a new Fantasy Era to make up for the one missed during my Dark Ages but the robot horse is actually the one thing I'm slightly interested in as far as the Sci-Fi element goes, more then the race car/hover bike whatever nonsense like Clay's Cruiser. If they do a straight up mechanical horse at least that will have some function for not Castle related builds and just generally would be interesting. I'd have no hope or expectation of this that way no matter what happens it won't be a disappointment.

This is what really kills it for me even without seeing pictures, I did not want vehicles a well done airship or carriage or such aside, I've never wanted vehicles and I usually avoid anything with vehicles in it. The only thing I'm mildly interested in are the robot horses and only if they are actually looking like horses but mechanical and not some weird motorcycles like people have speculated. The problem with vehicles is that they come with lots of parts you can't utilize for anything but vehicles. If they do whatever building comes with the series well then I might (probably) buy into that as long as it looks Castle'y, if it's anything like Ninjago were I did find most the buildings interesting and would have liked to have purchased them when they came out.

I might have misunderstood your comment but that isn't Sci-Fi though (Dwarves/Elves/Orcs/Goblins/Dragons/Magic etc) that's to me the definition of (Medieval) Fantasy. Well unless you were to see Orcs and whatnot as Aliens (like Warhammer 40000).
