Super nice, loving the color combo's

I'd like to find a balance between both, due to budget/resource limitations. Less (bricks) is more.

That's more or less the boat I'm in.

Based of cringe worthy names alone I'm crying right now My first Castle (but not really Castle) theme in 15 years I'll give KK2 this, it had cool villains Vladek and his Scorpion guys, if this has cool Villains then at least that's something. I just really don't want another series of Power Rangers meets Knights like KK2 and same thing happened with Ninjago but Ninja's instead.
-
It looks good but some context would be nice, I see 2 Knights who are fighting in the second picture but why are there big bugs (giant red ants if you want to get technical/official) and skeletons there in the first?

Honestly I used to be a nostalgiawhore when it came to Castle Villains and I really disliked the look of the 2013 Castle stuff when I first saw it because the cartoonish Lion was a huge turn-off compared to it's realistic looking predecessor but I've since opened up my heart for the Red Dragon Villains and they have now become my favorite among Castle Villains. Agreed, a Fantasy Era 2.0 would probably be my favorite thing to happen, but I also highly doubt it.

Unless they are afraid of their own product they should be hyping it up with some epic pics.

Yes it was a local challenge to build a MOC based on the game Thanks

Interesting, I've never seen a build do grass like that before, on this scale at least I too like it.

Oh god don't say that what if you just cursed it, seriously though I don't understand why LEGO ever makes those, I don't know any numbers but I can't imagine them doing well as opposed to actual Minifigs, I also agree with Dale in that I want more historical civilian Minifigs. Chariots/Carriages/Boats (and I'm personally open to the idea of Airships) different kinds of Siege Engines, there could be lots of potentially interesting 'vehicles'. The general vibe I'm getting from the thread is that this is a very slippery slope and they could very easily make something really interesting or something really terrible and that uncertainty is the only thing that's certain for now.

I'm willing to accept a lot of different things, but even I would cry if this is going to be Castle+Chima Vehicles... wait how can anybody think those are Steampunk?

Nice I like them :)

I love it when something looks good not only on the out but also the inside! (or vice versa) :)

Thank you, I managed to replace the blurry pictures with some better results, still not crisp but as close as I can get to it for the moment. Sometimes in Fallout if you shoot somebody in the head, their heads explode, I believe that's what happens when you get a Critical Hit and that's what that effect is meant to be.

Siege of Jacobstown, a Fallout New Vegas Battle Diorama. Mercenaries are attacking Jacobstown yet again, luckily the protagonist and his friends are around to help the friendly super mutants defend their settlement. Let's just say this is set after the events of New Vegas and that's why it's a bit more lush (well the Jacobstown area is relatively lush to begin with compared to the Wasteland anyway), I couldn't make an exact replica of how it looks ingame due to parts limitation. I'll leave it up to you to consider the Protagonist the Courier, the Eyebot ED-E and the Brotherhood member Veronica, or not. (I originally intended to have a smooth tiled edge on the Diorama, except I didn't have enough tiles in a single color for that ) Edit* So roughly another 100 pictures and messing with the camera settings later (and that is after the 250ish pictures I took before) without over-exaggerating, here are the best pics I could possibly take. Finally they aren't ridiculously blurred out crap anymore. (All the Diorama Pics replaced.) The Minifig pictures include an extra Brotherhood Minifig and an extra Super Mutant that I ended up not using.

Undying - Prologue, Part 2 - Lorean Desert, Unknown Excavation Site- "We've been walking through these caves for hours." Kain complained. Raziel was in a foul mood, no doubt being stuck with the rookie had something to do with it. He scoffed; "It's been 30 minutes at most." Kain disregarded the comment and continued his complaining; "and what about the camp outside, it's completely abandoned this doesn't feel right." Raziel turned around, his face showing a faint hint of worry; "You're right it is odd but if this map, we found at the campsite, is right we're coming up on the Crypt soon." They entered through a carved out archway, to their left was rock surface and to their right was a dark void, most likely a large cavern. Before them descending steps were carved out. Kain looked over the railing but with a crackle what was left of it came loose. *Phew* "That was close, almost fell down, wonder how deep it is." Kain spoke his thoughts out loud, Raziel began to make the descent. Suddenly a disturbing laughing echoed through the cavern, an inhuman kind of cackling filled both the Veteran as well as the Rookie with dread... "n-n-no, it c-c-can't be..." Kain had never heard Raziel stutter before. Somehow Raziel managed to move forward but then tripped, his torch went out and Kain couldn't see him anymore... a moment of silence and then... a disgusting cracking noise of shattering armor and smashed bone and flesh... a shadow flew at Kain from the darkness and then he felt as if run over by a horse, before losing conscience Kain vaguely heard a disturbing voice "...this one still breathes, good bring them both...". Because not all Minifigs are clearly visible here are all 3 of them + the commander from part 1:

Fantastic, I'd love to use the model in a still distant future MOC Diorama at some point, with your permission.
