  1. So I'm thinking if LEGO has the pictures for the catalogs already they can also post them online? I don't see what the problem with that is, the earlier people see things the earlier they can get hyped and if people dislike it seeing the sets sooner or later is going to make no difference either?
  2. Not to sound ungrateful or anything but we already more or less knew that much from the existing rumours/data so far.
  3. These are the kind of builds LEGO should be selling to us as sets, I want one
  4. Very nice, really liking that brick built gate with the hatch or what it's called and the story is excellently written, much better then anything I could possibly come up with. One thing though the first image refuses to show up for me it just says "Posted Image" but I can follow it to your Flickr to see it so it's not a huge deal.
  5. The problem here is that LEGO has never done anything actually Steampunk as in the proper Victorian Era stuff, actually just Victorian Era LEGO sets would be amazing too, really anything Historical sets would be amazing.. however most kids don't care at all about history sadly. I feel exactly the same way, even as a KFOL I almost never liked LEGO Vehicles and yet got tons of them
  6. I have a theory, it's a little bit crazy though, what if the amount of AFOL's is way way smaller then all the KFOL's and they market most their product to KFOL's because that's were most of the money is? Because if there was more monetary gain from AFOL's they would surely be catering to them instead.
  7. Excellent, but what is this Isles of Aura I keep hearing about, when I try to look it up I find nothing concrete other then some music group.
  8. Thanks everybody
  9. On Bricklink "Bar 1L with Top Stud and 2 Side Studs"
  10. Thank you, the horse is from the Winter Village Market.
  11. and you build such contrasting MOC's, a grand piece of Dark Fantasy I love it :)
  12. Well that is a cute well built castle, and not too much pink in there which is great as I'm not a fan of it.
  13. My 3 Parts Entry into the Odyssey Category of the Colossal Battle Contest. Portraying the story of Bartholemue, a thief and my secondary character for the online role building game Lands of Roawia. As he searches a Warehouse in The Shade (Capital City of the Outlaws) for the 'Star', a renown gemstone rumoured to be located there. Although this build is set in the world of Lands of Roawia I made it exclusively for the Colossal Battle Contest. Bartholemue scaled up the warehouse wall, the place was guarded like a fortress but he spotted an unguarded balcony, as he climbed over the railing an archer suddenly walked straight into him. In a panic Bartholemue engaged in combat, rushing the archer and cutting of his draw arm. The guard let out a scream of agony, Bartholemue killed him but more guards were sure to come, so Bartholemue used the distraction to sneak into the warehouse. Bartholemue found himself on the top floor were some offices were located, one of the guards came rushing into the offices, most likely investigating the scream. He noticed Bartholemue and lunged out with his spear, Bartholemue quickly jumped on top of it and with a swift strike of his rapier cut of the guards head. Bartholemue got inside the warehouse storage floor now, he quickly looked around were the 'Star' might be located when all of a sudden the merchant, who had tipped Bartholemue off about the Star's location, walked in with an army of guards behind him and the 'Star' in his hand. He grinned maliciously "We meet again, greet your master for me, in hell. Shoot him down boys." Bartholemue couldn't take on so many guards on his own, so he ducked behind some crates and scurried off looking around for an exit. He noticed an open standing window and quickly climbed atop the crates and out the window, escaping the merchants trap. Why did the merchant betray him though...
  14. Imo the environmental detailing like the ruined building and the pond of water with the aquatic plants is great and the posing of the characters is good too. My only personal gripe with the build is that I feel white wings would have worked better then black, which feel too raven for a pegasus.
  15. It's a phenomenal MOC with some great builds in there, the Metal (if I remember correctly) Golem and Lighthouse are my favorite parts.
  16. It's nice to see a brick built weapon again, reminds me of my childhood when me and my friends and nephews would always build and do battle with guns, swords and axes and such made from LEGO They didn't look as good though and were more focussed on sturdiness then anything else.
  17. Agreeing with everybody else saying it's their favorite, and I too would love to have some larger pics to zoom in and Really look at the build proper
  18. Let me just say, if you are really a fan of Fantasy Era then you could have found lots of useful and similar parts and minifigs to Fantasy Era in both Ninjago and Chima, so the prospect of the theme being like Ninjago and Chima doesn't nececessarily have to be a bad thing. That said there is also lots to both Ninjago and Chima that isn't usable in a Medieval Fantasy setting at all, but personally if we get any new usable Medieval Fantasy stuff I'm happy. Would I prefer a Historical or Medieval Fantasy theme for new updated versions of sets like the old FE or MMV/MVR (all of which I sadly missed out on), definitely. I just don't think it's realistic to expect that from this theme (and then maybe get pleasantly surprised with something, like that last big expensive Ninjago set edit* Temple of Airjitsu).
  19. Thanks for the nice comments everybody, I've added 2 more pictures to the OP showcasing the 2 Knights respectively in full view.
  20. Congratz, your phenomenal build has gotten a well deserved daily
  21. Thanks for the kind comments guys I'm most pleased with the second picture, because it shows the MOC pretty well without showing the connection of the pegasus's wings
  22. I think we all need these pics in our lives. I don't know wether to be excited or terrified anymore. I'm just true neutral now.
  23. She had been chasing it for days now, finally the hunt came to an end. And not one moment too soon, it had already reached the border of the Dark Forest and further pursuit would have become too dangerous. As Pegasus Knight it was her sworn duty to hunt down and destroy all Demons. My Final Duel Category Entry for the Colossal Battle Contest. Close-ups:
