  1. The idea is great and it's one of the sets I owned as a kid which is pretty fun seeing it again, I still have the witch just not her cloak or wand :(
  2. That's pretty neat, I'd like to see a big version.
  3. Lovely MOC's but I would have also loved seeing some woodcutters/clearing the area MOC
  4. Well I heard that MB has been using more smaller pieces in their more recent products so that's nice, haven't checked on it myself yet though.
  5. Finally got my first Castle set since I was erh maybe 10, the Kingdoms Joust, and it's pretty damn great. Also picked up a bunch more of the Red Lion Knight guys (dunno their official name) because that Gold Lion symbol is pretty much exactly the Dutch Lion which is pretty gosh darn awesome.
  6. Mighty nice wooden hut you've made. If I had the parts and didn't have other plans already stuck in my mind that have to be MOC'ed out, then I wouldn't mind joining the fray and attempt a few myself.
  7. I see, I would agree with that, I just don't like it when I see Mega Bloks sets (or MOC's) that use very few big massive pieces akin to BURP's.
  8. That is a very interesting Submarine build I quite like it but I think it would feel a bit more complete/add a bit to the MOC if it had some kind of cockpit (not sure what you'd call it on a submarine to be honest) or if it's like a controlled robot of sorts then some kind of eye/camera element. I hope I'm making sense
  9. Yes, love it.
  10. We could just make this a thread for Fantasy themed brick build creatures I suppose, a mod/admin would have to change the title since the thread is now specifically called "Isundir's Bestiary" but I wouldn't mind a thread for all brick build beasties and monsters if other builders like yourself want to have such a thread (alternatively we could just make a new thread).
  11. While I legitimately love Sci-Fi all the more recent LEGO space/sci-fi themed sets are completely uninteresting to me, and while I enjoy the movies I don't really care for collecting the Star Wars sets either but holy space cow I'd buy this in a heartbeat! Awesome build/set.
  12. As a newbie I'm curious what LEGO sets give you barbed wire? (or is it custom?) Sweet post apoc truck btw
  13. That 'fuckir' seems highly inappropriate, interesting Scythe build for Scythewoman though
  14. I agree I never did like those baseplates, as a kid I did have the King Leo's Castle from Knights Kingdom and what annoyed me most as with all raised baseplates were the smooth studless sides, your build and mix of old and new looks great though
  15. I don't mind if they do both, sets targeted at kids as well as a few MMV/MVR type of sets, if they'll only do sets targeted at kids though that might be a bit disappointing.
  16. I don't care about skin color but I want more elf hair that works with quivers, the elf hair from the Middle Earth sets is one of LEGO's biggest mistakes, I mean why do the Dwarves get to have special adapted hair for quivers or armor or what not and the elves don't just wtf. I see, they have Pegasus indeed however it doesn't appear like they have any that (preferably regular) Minifigs can ride, which means I can't make a Fire Emblem Pegasus Knight MOC :(
  17. To be honest I think either one looks great both the white boney one and the black fantasy one, almost tempted to order parts and make a personal MOD version Dracolich...
  18. Oh man I was replaying Fire Emblem and then I wanted a LEGO Pegasus to MOC Florina, tried making my own MOC Pegasus but couldn't do it just didn't look right.
  19. I do not know how frowned upon customs are here but making an Elite Knight has been a bit of a project of mine: The first version was a purist but then people told me about non-purist things to add and I did. Edit* For reference the Elite in my first MOC was the purist version:
  20. Eck yeah you are right, the only set I still saw in stores was Dol Guldur for some reason actually.
  21. Well I picked up the Joust now but I'll definitely consider it when I have more cash to spend on LEGO.
  22. Welcome to the Bestiary, here all Fantasy Creatures shall be documented as well as all information known about these wondrous beasts and horrible abominations. Index: 1. Mimic. 2. Tunnelermite. - Bestiary Entry 1, Mimic (Version 2) a being able to change its shape to disguise its body as an inanimate object in order to devour unsuspecting prey, most commonly encountered as an alluring chest found irresistible by the poor adventurers that greedily open them. - Bestiary Entry 2, Tunnelermite (Version 1) The Tunnelermite is a Subterranean, Omnivorous creature. More information coming soon. (inspired by o.a. the Minecrawler and the Chaurus.)
  23. Well I decided to purchase the Joust, I can only hope LEGO knows the popularity of the MMV and MVR and makes more similar sets in the future The Joust seems like the only interesting Castle set that's still worth the current price, I decided to shell out a bit more because that guy didn't seem entirely reliable so I picked one up for 119,50 which is still 44 cents cheaper then the original price heh
  24. I'm aware, it's just there are so many different parts to bulk buy it's also rather pricey. Yeah, I'll have to think some more about/before picking up the Joust but I'll definitely save the rest of LEGO funds up for the 2016 Castle sets / bulk buying parts.
  25. It's noice, would love to see a real life version.
