My first Freebuild for Lands of Roawia (and my second attempt at an interior). Undying - Prologue, Part 1 -Remote Monastery somewhere in Garheim- "Sir you wanted to see us?" The old commander looked up from his documents. "Raziel, Kain good you've both been summoned." Raziel looked displeased. "Sir with all due respect, he's just a greenhorn, he can't possibl..." "That is enough Raziel" the commander interrupted, however Raziel slammed his fist on the table "But Sir..." exasperated the commander once again interrupted "I SAID THAT IS ENOUGH! Now then, you've both been dispatched to our excavation site in the Lorean Desert, you will leave immediately." "Can you give any more details concerning our mission Sir?" Kain asked. The commander frowned as he contemplated what to tell them. "The Chaplain leading the excavation has requested immediate reinforcements as the current Paladins present at the site are incapable of suppressing the undead, now leave and make haste!" I should mention that I'm not actually a native English speaker or writer so scribbling down this little story was pretty hard, if I made any mistakes feel free to correct me.

That really sounds (too) close to Star Wars, but indeed he probably means the new 'Castle' theme with 'Steampunk Elements' that has been rumored... well it doesn't really matter to me personally I'm both a Sci-Fi and a Castle fan so I'll be looking forward to this either way.

Such a beauty, also I agree but also I believe a little bit that we still have that, the vast endless space, we just need to invent better transportation (easier said then done but still).

Are these for Mobile Frame Zero or some other LEGO tabletop game? Look great :)
-
Nice I like it :)

Looks great, can you tell me what the orangy mechanical arms are supposed to represent though because I can't figure it out
-
Just rumors.

Should new castles have (raised) blaseplates?
Isundir replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks for sharing Nuju's thread, I love how he uses those BURP pieces and makes them look good. Personally I'd rather have a few baseplates that are really just regular plates/plate compatible with a few BURP pieces over an entirely singular Raised Baseplate but the biggest annoyance would have to be the incompatibility of baseplates with plates. -
Interesting, couldn't see it over at SSLF but I can see the pictures here, looks good as always, I especially like that the barbarian is using the gate as a ram.

Very nice, I think your yellow 30's car is my fav.
-
Personally I think the gargoyle is nice, it would be great if we had large legs and wings with prints (at least on the legs) but still I'm happy with it and I'll definitely want to try and pick up 4 or so personally.

I love that realistic legitimate look

I like them both but for the diner can it only dock up to 2 spaceships at a time or am I interpreting it wrong?
-
Oh shoot now I get it, didn't notice that thanks (because the goat was lifted up in the air I assumed the wizard was levitating the goat... not even considering it being a transformed soldier.)
-
Looks good, why are the soldiers traveling with a goat? or was the goat just at the wrong place on the right time.. or the right place at the wrong time... or the wrong place and the wrong time.

Consider it being worked on. I can't say it'll be amazing or even decent, I'm only a novice builder, but I've been wanting to make one for a while now. (a Golem)

Some people will cramp in a million greebles and objects for 'detail' this is a fine example of having excellent detail without overdoing it, so it looks very detailed but nothing unnecessary has been forced in just for the sake of it. Sorry if I'm not making sense as a non-native English speaker it can be difficult to put my thoughts to words.

I'm not familiar with Heroica, from looking at the boxart, is it some kind of LEGO version of D&D?
-
What do you guys think, something like this as the Castle for 2016?: Personally would not mind at all.
-
Excellent, not too big but not too small, not too much detail but not too little either, perfect and then nice lighting as icing on the cake.

Holy shit, LEGO really needs to step up their game now or Mega Bloks is going to take over, that Castle Greyskull looks amazing, it's almost like a MOC instead of an official set.

While I'm somewhat tired of Zombies, Medieval Zombies would still be amazing imo. Also agree with the new symbols thing, Stags, Wolves, Hawks/Eagles/Falcons, Boars, Bears I don't care just new fresh and not too kiddy looking/more realistic Medieval would be fantastic. I've done right I'll love this, but I can imagine a lot of people here won't. Personally for me Medieval fantasy with Steampunk is pretty cool, thinking of the Original Thief games (the Mechanist Order), the original Sacred (Dwarven Airships and such) and The Elder Scrolls (Dwemer Automatons) among others had Steampunk elements. I've been meaning to do Dwarven Faction Fantasy MOC's with light Steampunk elements I just don't have the resources yet. My thought exactly. Have any of you guys put it in the hands of a Minotaur yet? I really hated those swords until I gave them to my Minotaur, it just works really well imo.
