I like the front with all the windows and the interior is very detailed and well done! I especially like the packing station and the tanks. A photo of the very first version would have been interesting to see how it developed.

[MOC] Playground for my modular buildings
Palixa And The Bricks replied to Palixa And The Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Thank you for your nice comments. I'm really happy that you like it :) Yes, I thought about that, but I wanted to build a more natural playground with wooden materials in contrast to the more colourful buildings.- 11 replies

Songkran Festival, Thailand
Palixa And The Bricks replied to jaredchan's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The building is really impressive. From the distance it doesn't even look like LEGO, especially the roof and the golden ornaments around the windows. -
Hi everyone, I'd like to present you my latest MOC. The residents of my Lego city needed some green space and their kids some place to play. So, here it is: a big playground in the courtyard with a wooden pirate ship and a little sand pit. It's surrounded by the Microsoft Store, the modified Green Grocer, the Main Post Office and the Mom & Pop Store and Garage. I got the idea for the ship here and had a lot of fun building it, especially since it was a little bit out of my comfort zone. I hope you like it. C&C are welcome.

Stunning! I like the shape of it. And the colours. And everything else How did you build the curves of the fins?

Interesting concept and very well executed. Love the swirl and how the upper part sits on top of that rock as if it could get out of balance at any time.

Absolutely beautiful I love every detail of it, especially those lovely bright colours. -
Beautiful building and such a lovely idea. I especially like the clean and straight design of the facade, which is very detailed at the same time.

Beautiful modular! I especially like the 2nd floor with the night club and the separate room for poker games. Great colours and atmosphere. And those faces of the delivery guys Looks like there's some secret ingredient added to the pizzas.

Absolutely adorable I like the colours and how the roof is partly covered with snow.

[MOC] Vienna k.u.k. Burgtheater
Palixa And The Bricks replied to kofi's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Speechless! This build is amazing. Very detailed and a lot of sand green ;) I wonder how the curved front and the roof for that part are done. -
Beautiful! Your builds always have this atmosphere and they always tell a story. Love that. The only thing that I do not like that much is the water. In my opinion it's too rough, although I like that you used these diamonds instead of round bricks.

Beautiful buildings with lots of interesting details. They fit together very well. Can't wait to see the whole layout.

MOC: Cast Iron Building (Modular Building)
Palixa And The Bricks replied to Kristel's topic in LEGO Town
I like the clean and simple style of this one and how the arches connect the two tan floors visually. A pity that there's no interior. I also thought of a news agency :) Looking forward to your next building. They are always instantly recognisable as your creations.- 22 replies

My favourite room is definitely the laundry, followed by the kitchen and the gym. I like the colours and details and it's really nice how each room has its individual character.

Beautiful! I like the colours and the tank. Maybe it would have been nice if there were some more fishes.

I got this set yesterday as a birthday present. Can't wait to build it :)

Palixa And The Bricks replied to Mestari's topic in LEGO Town
I love the lighting and I really like the ice cream shop interior and the front windows. -
Thanks everyone :) I'm really happy that you all like it ... even if it's a Windows store I had a lot of fun building it and when building my modulars I always imagine what it would feel like to actually live there.

Hello everyone This is my fifth modular building. Well, to be fair, it's more a modification than it is my own creation. My husband bought the instructions for the Apple Store a while ago and enjoyed building it a lot. But since we are not that much into Apple he asked me to replace the store by his favourite brand. I liked the original building but I always thought that it's not quite the right scale and doesn't really fit together with the other modular buildings. So I took the elements that I like (which are the colours, the facade of the ground floor and the layout of the smaller window) and created my own version. There's now a Microsoft store on the ground floor with real sliding doors. The interior is mainly based on the original one, only adjusted to the different corporate design. On the first and second floor there are apartments of a comic-strip artist and a musician. The highlight is the cocktail bar on the roof terrace which is considered an insider's tip among Bricktown. I hope you like. Any comments are welcome.

That's beautiful. I like the ambience. It's like you can almost hear the birds chirping and the rustling of leaves in the wind.
