  1. The outside is good, but I love the inside! There are so many great details to explore. I especially like the 45 deg. hallway, the interiors of the shops and apartement's floor plan. The redecoration process looks very "real".
  2. That's a cute little building I like how you built the windows. That brick pattern is very interesting. The outhouse and the look on that guy's face made me laugh.
  3. I like it! The hotel feels very "grand". I just think the board walk is a bit too colourful and the lavender parts are clashing with the red ones. But apart from that it's a great build. I especially like the roof and the windows on the second floor.
  4. That's cute! I like how you built the 3 different houses and I love those sunflowers
  5. Great building! I like that every shop has it's own style and character. My favourite parts are the removable reading loft and the ladder to access the upper shelves. I'm almost sorry that there's not enough space in my modular book shop to do something similar
  6. Thanks I can't tell exactly. I didn't count them. But based on my bricklink order and the parts I already had I guess I used about 800 1x2 plates and 200 1x1 plates.
  7. That's an impressive museum with lots of great displays. I like the First Nations and indigenous peoples exhibits most. I also like the area on the ouside around the main entrance with the trees and benches.
  8. Aawww, thank you all very much for your kind comments and feedback. I appreciate it If you work on something for a long time sometimes you don't know anymore whether it's good or not.
  9. Love it. Simple yet detailed and beautiful. Besides the two facades I like the traffic lights and letters on the roof most.
  10. Thank you very much Glad you like it. I had planned to use plates for the whole building but I ran out of pieces and mainly wanted to use bricks I already had (which didn't work either ). So I used dark grey bricks on the side walls. Maybe completely black walls would have been too dark. Actually the real building had exactly this garden
  11. I'd like to present my latest modular building. It's based on a canal house I saw in Amsterdam last year. There's a book shop located on the bottom two floors that also sells comic books and some rare comic figures. The upper two floors contain an apartement for the bookseller. The book shop: The apartement: Some furniture: I hope you like it.
  12. Love it! Brilliant lettering and a wonderful colour scheme.
  13. At first sight I thougt: well, a nice tree house. But then I looked closer and there are so many clever details! The roof, the rope ladder, the bird's nest. I wish I had a place like this when I was a kid
  14. That's so lovely! I especially like the truck, the oven and the barn.
  15. Love it! It's a nice, clean build and i really like the colours. I think it fits perfect with the other official lego rides. But as a minifig I wouldn't ride on it ... no back to lean against and no safety belt
  16. That's a cute little building. I like the colours and the snow on the roof.
  17. Great idea. The best parts are the little well and the curling rink. In my opinion the contrast between black, white and green is a bit too harsh, but apart from that I like the mill and how it is built. It's a lovely set
  18. Aaaw, that's cute. Love the idea. Looks like an official set.
  19. Thank you all for your comments. I'm happy you like it Do you mean by functional if the windows open up? Unfortunately not. I wanted them to be openable, but I wasn't able to do it with the actual size of the building and 24 windows are a lot But the door opens and there are 3 light switches, that can be turned on and off
  20. Here's my entry for the Expand the Winter Village Contest: a small town hall that turns into a huge advent calendar every year in december. Behind each window there is a small present for the children of the village. For more pictures see the album at flickr. Hope you like it and merry christmas to everyone. May santa bring you a lot of bricks
  21. Lovely! I like the water wheel and the snow and ice around it. Looks really cold outside. There are great details on the inside as well. I especially love those curtains.
  22. Great idea! I really like the atmosphere on the inside. There's so much going on!
  23. Absolutely beautiful! The colours are gorgeous and I love the little christmas scenes on each level. Well done!
  24. Love it! I especially like the beer mugs and the barrel on the facade. And those 3 guys on the bench made me laugh
