( MOC ) Toyshop ( edited / remodeled )
Palixa And The Bricks replied to carebear's topic in LEGO Town
That's huge! And colourful! And they sell lots of toys! I would love it there as a kid, but not as a parent My favourite part is the donkey next to the entry. -
That's lovely! It's so colourful and joyful. Feels like summer and makes me happy just looking at it. I like that the houses are open on the back and there are very detailed and different interiors in all buildings.

I love it, especially the entrance and the interior. I wouldn't change anything, the colours and details are just perfect. Looking forward to the finished building!

Hi everyone, it took me a while, but here it is: the third and final part of my Amsterdam project. There are now two more canal houses and two canal boats next to the already existing Book Store and Cheese Shop. The narrow dark red and white building contains a music store on four floors that sells records and a great selection of modern and classic musical instruments. The corner building provides space for three different businesses: a flower shop on the ground floor, a therapist on the first floor and a tailor shop on the two remaining floors. The two houseboats are also inhabited and fully furnished. [ For more photos and detailed views of the interior please take a look at the flickr album. I hope you like it.

I love it! I like the exterior, especially the oversized tools. The colour scheme works very well. My favourite part though is the interior with all the different tools, shelves and micro builds. I would love to spend some time on the rooftop.

This is awesome! I like it very much. Great colour scheme and wonderful architectural details.

Anybody done a BL 10196: Grand Carousel ?
Palixa And The Bricks replied to broomhandle's topic in LEGO Town
I also did this a while ago and made a lot of modifications because some of the parts are way too expensive. (original topic) So I used a different colour scheme, omitted the sound brick, made my own canopies out of paper and built my own rides because I didn't like the original horses. I also replaced the jester hats and chose minifigure heads according to the rides. My husband bought some custom made stickers on ebay. -
Beautiful modular! I love the colours and there are so many great details like the signs for the tailor, the rounded roof, the alleyway and the tan part of the building (don't know how that is called in english ). The interior is lovely as well. I especially like the rocking chair and the kitchen area. The minifigures bring the whole street to life.

A while ago I challenged myself to build something with the cylinder hemisphere part. This is my 5th build: Some instruments every explorer and navigator could use: a telescope, a globe, a lantern and a coffer.

Beautiful! So many great details and building techniques! My favourite parts are the stained glass windows and how the minifigs fill this MOC with life.

Almost missed this one. I like it very much, especially the contrast between black and white and (dark) tan on the main building and the stained glass on the stalls. There are so many nice details. The interior is great as well. Well done!

Winter Village: Veterinary Clinic & Pet Adoption Center
Palixa And The Bricks replied to Ruse901's topic in LEGO Town
Good idea and some very cute ideas. I like the paw print sign and the snow figures best. -
The station itself is really cute, although in my opinion the roof is a bit too big. I also like the water tower and how you build the trees.

Hi everyone, this is my entry to the Winter Village contest: The "Tea 'n Tomes" is the Winter Village's place to read an exciting book and drink a hot cup of tea on a cold winter's day. It's a public library where you can also get some of the finest tea selection. The books on the teapot outside can be taken away for free. I hope you like it!

[MOC] Hotel retaurant Marriott,11000 parts!!!
Palixa And The Bricks replied to jalemac34's topic in LEGO Town
Great building! I like the diagonal entry and the restaurant/bar. Also the stairwell is great, really love the colour scheme (sand green, tan, white, dark grey). I'm not so fond of all of the themed rooms, the black one is pretty dark and the super hero one is a bit too colourful for me. But the pirate ship on the other hand is pretty cool. Would love to stay in that room. And I love the pool area -
I like it. My favourite parts are the two vehicles and the details on the outside, like the large doors and the part with the helmet above the smaller door (that is also part of the official fire station modular).

The hotel lobby is awesome! Very clever part usage and the colour combination is just perfect. I also like the rocking horse and the changing table.
