nope it's not motorized. I tried it from the beginning but I immediately noticed nothing fit in it. thanks! I just tried it but I don't like how it looks. and while modifying i found a way to fix the problem. :classic:It looks terrible on tracks when the couplings are sticking out but it works anyway, thanks!

Hi guys, I build this a few weeks ago and thinking about which moc to upload I decided to upload this one due to it being my favorite and most detailed about the prototype: The first four of these locomotives (11100-3 later D2200-3) were fitted with side skirting and cowcatchers for use on the Wisbech and Upwell Tramway and on the Yarmouth Docks tramway system. (British law requires locomotives running on unfenced street trackage to be so protected for the protection of pedestrians). The next batch differed from the first in being fitted with conical exhaust stacks (instead of the plain exhaust pipe that was later added to the original exhaust "hole") and shaped cab front windows (instead of the rectangular windows of the first batch). However, at least two (11111/D2210 and 11113/D2212) were also fitted with cowcatchers, etc. for use on the Ipswich docks tramway system. My model: As you can see this model is based of the 'tramway' mod with sideplates and cowcatchers. the couplings use the older magnets. It has no cap interior and the doors can't open. This is the rear of the model where you can see the hazard stripes and the way how I managed to attach the cowcatchers. On this picture you can see the way how I attached the sideplates. the only thing I'm worrying about is the fact that the wheels are not close to the couplings and will thus make the couplings stick out in the corners. But sadly I can't make the wheels closer to the couplings because of the 1x1 bricks that acted as stairs. Here is a picture of it compared to a minifigure. And here a picture of it on rails. the sideplates cover the almost almost fully when on the rails what I really like. But now, thank you for viewing! I hope you liked my model. Rize!

Wow. That thing looks epic!

only €150? the cheapest on 'marktplaats' (dutch version of eBay) is €240! and the cheapest on bricklink is also €200!

I would never buy the emerald. Personally I dislike the boiler design (way to large) and the price of it well. If your rich you can buy it. If I had the money now I would buy the maersk but well I'm leaning against the MOC side of LEGO and have thus bought a complete Power Functions kit. And I'm now getting WALL-E so sadly I don't see a set coming. But if I would...

the cooper isn't build for RC. there are only mods for that and usually custom models don't have instructions because well, who wants that others can use your own builds?! I think that you should try to search on the web. there will be more search results there then here on eurobricks.

That thing is cool! Very detailed with all those tools, trailers, exo cage and suspension! I love it!

You could just buy a few from brinklink. Its also possible to get a Maersk train LDD file and delete the locomotive and the truck.

Taking a look back at the Behemoth [LPL]

Cool! But how does it look in the inside? I'm pretty sure you need a lot of space for all those tubes. And yeah its really big! -
Really cool! How are those coaches connected with one axle? Don't they sit a little bit to low?
-
i think its about simplicity. They can use the same wheels as trucks or buses. And actually the wheels are not the problem! The wheel holders make the wheels stick out! Try the older ones, those will get the wheels not stick out. The only problem is that the wheels will be to high.

All those sets are doomed in my opinion. I can only see a small change for the cars and even those don't look like some set LEGO could make. But we just have to wait and see I suppose! I would love to buy those cars!

I don't think the colour of the horizon was the reason it sold bad. The design was also pretty bad. It Was way to high and way to short.

I just realized something, your loco doesn't have couplings. if you want those older detachable couplings you can find them under the name 'coupling lever' and 'magnet'.

it looks good! although I don't see a way to to make a sharpness boiler. I've seen sharpness diesels but a round boiler? succes with the challenge! the big boy? how did you import the big boy? I don't a way to import existing projects into another project.
-
how did you get it on rails? LDD doesn't let me do that.
-
very nice and big! how are those curves attached to the baseplate?
-
cool! does it have a interior? I like the use of the round bricks but why those lights? te building itself looks pretty old but the lights are looking way to modern. I think some 1x1 round bricks would look better.

cool! like 'sunhuntin' I also love the smoke!

I think the cause is the flex track. I've heard more problems about flex track. the design is pretty strange. Modified 12V curve by Alexander, on Flickr the flex track has rails that cover both sides of the wheel that increases friction I think.

I orded 16 mediums wheels around 2 months ago. I think BBB is still active.

I think both. I personally would like to have a maersk in a beautiful wooden showcase with a nameplate or some but I also like to build my own locomotives and coaches.
