Outstanding build, the wall texturing is superb, and the inn itself looks a lot like the original Just as a heads up, this build is currently on the naughty list for the CCC; if you resize the images to 1600 x 1280 (at max), and post in the naughty list thread that you fixed it, it should be approved

Fabulous series, once again! The Ming Warrior, Castaway, Caroler and Peasant are my personal favorites. And that Sneaky Guy is absolutely hilarious

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Another free-build from me, back in Kailiphlin now! -
My 7th entry into the CCC XIV, for the Small Miscellaneous category. The colorscheme was inspired by Legopard and Brickvader’s Venice. I wanted to try something a little different from the typical vineyard, so I decided to do a wall and tower surrounding it. Harvest time brings plenty of activity to the vineyard as everyone works together to gather the ripe grapes. Contests to see who can harvest most are common, though some take a more relaxed approach. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

Very nice little build, Garmadon The color choices are excellent, and that target design is superb! The arrows scattered on the ground, and the figs' faces are great too- 13 replies

Excellent build, LegoFin! The working drawbridge is a great addition, and both the rockwork and stonework are superb as well. The shield under the roof-line of the little shack is a nice touch. Great to see some angled/round sections too, together they make for a really nice overall layout
-
Excellent build, LV! The ground texturing, and sections of rock in front of the wall look very nice. Great work on the swamp too

Very nice vignette, the snowscaping is excellent, and I really like that fence. The flag was a nice touch too

Thanks Gunman, that was one of my favorite parts too. Thanks ME! Hmm, yes, I can see how using olive as the base color could look funny Thank you, Blufiji! Thanks BC! Thanks Isaac Thanks en_zoo! Glad you like it Thanks, the colorscheme was inspired by Disco. Thank you!

Thanks Garmadon! Making the merchants' wares was one of the funnest parts of the build Haha, we'll see who wins, but I'm glad you like it Thanks Captain! Thanks Titus! Glad you like how the awning turned out Thanks en_zoo! Thank you! Yes, it's a color scheme that I would definitely like to do more in the future. Thanks Isaac Thanks de Gothia Glad you like it! Thanks dathil

Thank you Gideon! Thanks, ME! I almost went with a square base, but Isaac convinced to do an irregular one; glad you like it!

Nice to see a few more builds lately! I have a new one up as well, though it's set in Avalonia: -
My fourth entry to the CCC XIV, for the Woodland Hideaway category. The layout and design of the house were inspired by this image. The bottom-right window lights up, and the river is made of SNOT cheese slopes. Herbert the hermit lives in a cozy cottage nestled in the Western Woods. He lives a secluded life, preferring to spend his time tending to his gardens, and feeding his many animal friends. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

Very nice little vignette, your mixing of moss and rockwork is superb as usual, and that tree is gorgeous!
-
Excellent addition to Thorshaven, Titus! All of the tudor sections look great, but I especially like the dark orange one The angled section of harbor wall is excellent too

I would like to transfer my 562 credits to Lucbyard, please

Laesonar 3 - Unexpected Encounters [Part 3]
LittleJohn replied to en_zoo's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wonderful build, en_zoo! The foliage is excellent, though I might have to agree with Blufiji about the lavender grass. However, I personally like the red flowers; maybe if there was another little clump or two of them, they would blend more smoothly into the landscape as a whole. All the trees are very well done too, particularly that weeping willow The building looks great, with the vine climbing up the side, and the roof turned out quite nicely. One suggestion for the house, would be to add a little something to the top of the chimney; just some cones, or 1x1 rounds bricks, etc. would work nicely +1 for the UoP credit. Overall another fantastic build, looking forward to your next one!- 14 replies

Yes, the new graphics are wonderful! -
Thank you, Blufiji! Thanks Kai! Glad you noticed those candlesticks, they were one of my favorite pieces of furniture Thanks Slegengr! Good point about the hats, I'll try to keep that in mind for future builds Thanks HQ! Very good suggestion for the railing, wish I had thought of it before taking pictures! Ah well, something to remember for future builds

I personally haven't used or heard much about BrickOwl before. A new free-build from me: -
My third entry into CCC XIV, for the Traveling Salesman category. Credit for the star mosaic over the throne goes to Disco86. One of the main things I wanted to include in this build was the awning over the king’s seat, as it is historically accurate, and something I haven’t seen done much in LEGO. The balcony area and floor were perhaps the funnest parts to build however. The grand merchant Tajir specializes in fine silks, spices, jewels, and robes. Tajir has brought a selection of his wares to King Dhahab. What sumptuous items will the King and Queen select? More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, all C&C welcome

Thank you, Lord Vladivus! Thank you very much, Kai! You might be right about the background color, but this is really the only option we had for this build, as all our other backgrounds are too small. Definitely a good point though, and I'll keep it in mind for next time Wow, thanks a lot, Maestro! Though I personally think I still have a ways to go before I reach the level of the likes of Gideon, Gabe, etc., I'm glad you like it Thanks Blufiji! Thank you, Titus! Thanks Garmadon! The white turntables in the bridge was one of my favorite details too, even if Isaac was the one that suggested it... Thank you very much, Slegengr! It was fun getting to use a lot of the dark orange and MDF we've collecting over the years. Glad you noticed the plants over the throne too, it was a little tricky getting them to curve over the chair the wayI wanted Thank you! Thanks, glad you like it Thanks mrcp6d! Haha, yup! Thanks Isaac, glad you like how it turned out Thanks Henjin! All the angles was something I definitely wanted from the start, so I'm glad you like them! Yes, the domes are definitely a bit tricky to get right. I'll try to make them less angular in the future Thanks, glad you like it! Haha, thank you en_zoo! Thanks Gunman! Thanks Kayne, hopefully we'll see some more builds from you soon too! Wow, thank you BC! Thank you! Thanks, Mpyromaxos
