  1. These were pretty easy choices.
  2. Only saw half of the wave over here: Tech Wizard Battle, Berserker Bomber and the Twinfector. The remaining sets are probably in the back, I imagine that Lego would send the whole wave over at the same time.
  3. Oi. Wish I could but I don't have a quality camera to take the pictures with. I'm also not sure that I'm going to build it straight away. I'm sure Jang will be covering this set within the next few days though.
  4. Upon further inspection, it might be a corner building. That would explain the gap.
  5. Picked up the Berserker Bomber today at TRU. Excited to build it!
  6. So is this confirmed to be real? I hope it is, but it looks fishy to me.
  7. There's still a chance one comes in the speculated exclusive set that we haven't seen yet. If there is a second wave (there probably will be), I expect to see Monstrox in figure form, Ruina, Ava, a large set for Macy, a Vampire Castle, and a large mechsuit for the villains. All of this can be accomplished in 3 sets. If we get that, I'm satisfied with next summer being the end of the theme.
  8. I would have mixed feelings about that. I love Nexo Knights, but Castle is more important to me and as long as NK is around Classic Castle won't be. Three years is enough for me but I wouldn't mind an extra year too much, so long as it was confirmed to end after that.
  9. That may be, but these sets have gotten an infinitely better reception than Year 2's sets. No idea why, but it's nice to see.
  10. ...likely due to the down sales of the recent "Castle" themes. I get the indication that neither Kingdoms nor Castle 2013 did particularly well, though the latter was doomed from the start. NK was originally developed in 2009, but was resuscitated several years later, probably to fill the gap while Lego took "Castle" back to the drawing board. When Castle comes back, it will probably be drastically different from past themes, but it a good way.
  11. Very nice! I like the detail in the pyramid chambers.
  12. The plot thickens! How much was that set? $19.99?
  13. Seconded. Lance's Hover Jouster still hasn't been officially revealed yet, I'd like to see that one.
  14. I really like this build. You clearly put a lot of thought and effort into it, and the final result is great. I'm generally more impressed by a detail-packed and thoughtfully made castle than a behemoth with no interior.
  15. Thanks so much for the review, @legozebra ! I appreciate the effort you put into this, and it turned out nicely. I was a little skeptical about this set when it was first unveiled, but the shaping of the mech is actually quite nice. I don't mind the "dwarf"-like proportions, and I understand why they couldn't have made it much bigger given that it already has over 500 parts for $40. The mini figure selection is a little weak, I could have liked for Clay's armor to have been included, as well as another Cyberbyter or regular tech baddie. Overall, I like it. The mini-mech feature is well done and adds a ton of extra playability to the set. I think this will look right at home with my existing collection.
  16. Welcome, Leroy!
  17. Very well done! The spiraling tunnel looks quite cozy.
  18. Thanks for the pictures, @Penkid11 ! In the above image on the far right, it looks like Lance is fighting a green and black monster with wings. Perhaps a preview of the summer wave?
  19. I see them now, thanks. Axl's set will probably go for $60, it's pretty good for what it is. Really need to see more angles/features before I have a final opinion on it. The Twinfector is looking a little sparse, I hope it has more features that aren't evident while looking at it.
  20. Do you have a link to where you read that? I really hope that the Twinfector is in the $15 range.
  21. That's actually a great theory. Hope it's true
  22. https://www.toysrus.com/product?productId=E7BCCA1D Sorry about that, should have included it in the original post.
  23. The official images appear to be out on ToysRUs.com! Edit: I can only find the Berserker Bomber, but it has a detachable mechsuit for the villains.
  24. Thanks @Dr.Cogg for finding that image. From the looks of it, the second villain appears to be a regular figure; is he the “cyberbyter” the description was talking about? Also, the plane looks a lot larger on the box than on the prelims. Might even be a $40 set given the piece count. I think that’s the same image as the one that surfaced a few months ago, and in higher quality the “armor” appears to be the mechanical spiders included in a few of the sets.
  25. Interesting, curious to see what that looks like. Do you think you could get a bigger picture of the set? If not, I'd like to know the piece count because I can't quite make it out.
