  1. Great start! The wall is something to be proud of, I love the detailing the smaller arches on each side. The ground could use a bit of work, I would recommend using the "flower stem" pieces en masse to represent grass. Looking forward to more builds like these.
  2. I was largely referring to the reviews, sorry if I wasn't clear. While it doesn't look like it's going to do particularly well, the actual reviews are what stand out to me. It has a rating of 51% on Rotten Tomatoes, compared to TLM's 96% and TLBM's 91%. Those ratings will not improve much, if at all, over time, and it's safe to say that TLNM was a big drop-off quality wise in the eyes of experts. If I'm Lego, I'm worried.
  3. Considering the Ninjago Movie turned out to be a flop, I would think twice if I were Lego about going full steam ahead in the movie department. The Lego Movie 2 will probably be our best way of knowing whether or not Lego themed movies are actually viable in the long haul.
  4. Welcome! I'll check your project out.
  5. In the top left corner of the picture of Axl's set, there appears to be a large structure of some kind. Is that the villain's base?
  6. Overall, this wave looks great! Lots of interesting things going on here, including villain Squirebots, new MacGuffins and some weird-looking robot-spiders. 72001: Cool little vehicle for Lance. The villain with spider legs appears to be the best in the wave. Instabuy for me, hopefully this is in the $15 range. 72002: Twinfector. This appears to be the army-builder of the wave. Two baddies and Aaron (again). Can't see this being any more than 15 bucks. 72003: Beserker Bomber: In terms of design this is one of the better sets. The villain looks intriguing and the aircraft appears to have some sort of transforming feature. $20. 72004: I have no idea what this is. Is it a mech for Merlok? Is Clay in the cockpit? Why is Merlok back to being a hologram again? Is that Monstrox, and if so, why is his ride so underwhelming? I need answers! $30-$40 for this one. 72005: Another year, nine hundred more Aaron figs. This is alright, although it's extremely reminiscent to Clay's jet from this year. Mystery fig in the bottom left. Villains look good. $50 would be fair. 72006: Axl's Rolling Tank of Death: Getting strong Warhammer vibes from this one. Multiple villains, but four total figures is underwhelming. Good Jestro...finally! Might buy this one, we'll see. I expect this to go for $60. Regarding this potentially being Nexo's last wave: I doubt it. Once again, Monstrox is not in his final form (physical) and until then the series won't end. I fully expect a summer wave to flesh out this new faction and something else for the knights. This wave feels exactly like the this January's wave in the sense that it's mostly a lower-priced range to hold us over for the larger summer sets. One more thing: Nexo is close to being a Space theme in this wave, more so than ever. Overall it's a Castle theme, but in name only. Not that I have a problem with that, regular Castle will be back by 2020 anyway.
  7. Interesting concept! You really do see something new on EB every day.
  8. Practically every major leak ever has started on 4chan, so we'll see. Their trolls are usually far more creative and extensive (see last summer for details) than just "I have the European catalog". Just felt like sharing that here.
  9. Apparently somebody on 4chan has the European catalog and will be posting pictures of it on Friday. Fingers crossed.
  10. Honestly, it might not be. We were all under the impression that NK was done after this year, and even Lego was about to pull the plug on the theme before the extended it. So long as regular Castle comes back after NK ends, I wouldn't mind a couple more years of the theme. There are plenty of locations and monsters to introduce, and the story hasn't gotten anywhere near being exhausted.
  11. That's a bit of a hyperbole, don't you think? I get that some fans of LOTR were dissatisfied with the theme. However, repeating the exact same criticism almost half a decade after the theme's end is beating a dead horse to say the least. We know there are sets they wanted, we just don't need to keep hearing about it. Not trying to start a flamewar here either.
  12. Totally knockoffs. I remember these being talked about awhile back and it looks like @Killian bought them. How are they in terms of quality?
  13. I've heard of Sealand before, it really is quite an interesting place. You've represented it well.
  14. Nice! The colors of this build complement each other well.
  15. Ditto. The ever-present whining and moaning about Lotr four years after the last sets came out has made me avoid the section recently. I understand being disappointed but some folks are bordering on obsession when it comes to this. Is the King's Knight really that rare? I remember one being included in a $15 battle pack, as well as two more in 70403 and 70404.
  16. A simple yet effective build. I also like the background color you chose, it fits the scene quite nicely.
  17. Let the grainy image speculation games begin!
  18. Ah, noticed that yesterday but figured it was nothing. Looking at it again it appears to be for 2018. I wonder who the new stone guy is.
  19. Broken link. Go to the bottom right corner and click "imbed image" if you haven't tried that already.
  20. Welcome and thanks for the heads-up! You should be able to post it so long as it isn't confidential. If not, what site did you see it on?
  21. Interesting, thanks. If it's in the American magazine than I doubt that it's an EU exclusive.
  22. Welcome, welcome! Eurobricks has more than enough content for what you're interested in. Enjoy!
  23. Lego has gotten close to completely pricing me out of the hobby. Types of sets that I used to buy are rapidly inflating in price (SW Battlepacks, looking at you) and I don't find mountains of identical licensed sets very appealing. Hopefully they reverse course and bring back some of the classic themes for reasonable prices.
  24. Yes but was it the American or the European edition?
