  1. No worries, thanks!
  2. Lovely building Keymonus! A lot of nice detailing and an interesting shape. I especially like the blue patterns in the tiles at the front door. It would be nice to see a photo showing the whole building if you have one, I'd be interested to see the complete shape of the façade. The interior looks really nice as well, the bookcase definitely caught my eye! Great job and I look forward to the next instalment.
  3. Great green house Elostirion and yep, that sure is a lot of windows! I like the citrus trees, especially the smaller ones in the buckets, and the odd lemon on the floor makes a nice detail. Very nice addition to the collab!
  4. She's been floating around for a while Bodi (pun intended ) I just need to get around to the fiddly job of finishing her rigging....
  5. Thanks Capt Wolf. If I'm honest the floor is a 16x16 module I keep built up for occasions such as this! Thanks Elostirion!
  6. I'm pretty sure they have featured here before - Captain Braunsfeld I'm sure uses them! But yes, we Corries are very progressive! Thanks Sir Stig! I picked up a stack of plain dark tan torsos for another project and agree they work quite well as the targets!
  7. Great building Silentwolf, love the texture and details, especially the vertical tooth pieces. Fits in great with Maxim's port style and nice to see a school. Good luck in the tournament!
  8. Lovely gate entry which fits well with the other buildings in the collab. Love the custom statues on each side of the gates and the smaller pedestrian entrances.
  9. Nice garden Faladrin, I like the your contrasting informal style as opposed to Maxim's more formal gardens. It will make for nice diversity in the complex itself! The statue is nice if a bit spooky! Great job!
  10. Nice little ship, I like the amount of detail and overall shape especially the stern. Also nice deal - the destiny's bounty is a great kit that I would like to pick up!
  11. Nice, a simple but colourful addition to the collaboration. Great job!
  12. Nice continuation of your story! The rockwork looks pretty good. I would have probably varied the height a bit across the top of the cliff, it looks a bit uniform as is. Also maybe add some different colours or some features like weeds throughout to break up the dark bley and some more colour and vegetation to the top of the cliff. Here is one of my Challenge 2 builds that uses the same style to show what I mean: Anyway just some suggestions, but your build definitely works as is!
  13. Yep, the previous comments nail this one! Fantastic! I love the way it matches the Courthouse so closely, yet is a completely different building. Those bottom floor windows keep catching my eye, and I have a feeling they will pop up in one of my builds at some stage! The tower itself is lovely as is the bell. Great job all round, this is probably on of my favourite royal collaborations yet!
  14. Nice rockwock (as usual) and great forced perspective on the lighthouse. The scene as a windswept, almost gloomy feel about it that I think works very well. The orange highlights are different and very good, and that tree is superb! Oh and I have seen many trees growing from cracks in rocks, so no need to worry about the realism! Great job!
  15. A really fantastic build! So many great little details. I really like the overall style of the building, and how you guys have replicated the same style across the colab. I like the curve in the black roof and the dark tan highlights. The decorative pieces such as the wings and technic pieces are also a great touch. Great job and one I will be coming back to study again and again!
  16. Love the clothes stand - great torso for uniforms! Good luck in the tournament
  17. A bayonet assault course for the garrison to practice bayonet drill.
  18. After completing his mission in Nova Malto, Major Bradley and his men are posted to the growing settlement of Port Woodhouse. There is however, no rest. His men have been issued with a new socket type bayonet and they begin drilling enthusiastically. Despite his previous musings, the targets are a nondescript tan colour... not greencoats! A quick build to show of the new Brickarms bayonets I acquired for my redcoats. I've been feeling the need for some bayonets for a while now and finally got around to ordering some! Will be licensed as a small educational to bring Port Woodhouse up to Town status!
  19. The Royal Navy frigate HMS Royal Oak has also sent a team that has arrived in Trador.
  20. Although he loathes the vile game, Colonel Dirk Allcock has sponsored a team in the New Terra Soccer Cup in the spirit of cooperation and friendship. Also his cousin Commander Matthew Allcock RN assures him that it is a great morale boast for the Royal Navy team that he is sponsoring. The team is drawn from the crew of the HMS Royal Oak, a 6th Rate frigate still fitting out and conducting sea trails in Mooreton Bay. Here members of the squad relax in a beer garden after arriving in Trador. Wow! so many great builds to see here this morning, I'll comment on them all throughout the day! Meanwhile here is my very modest entry in the NTSC as promised! Will be licensed as a small artisan in Trador as per the rules.
  21. The WTC has arrived, there goes the neighbourhood! I quite like the lighthouse/customs office - it's actually one of my favourites of yours. The mixture of light blue patched with the dark tan and bley works surprisingly well. Like suggested above I'd try and smooth the rock work a bit, maybe add some tiles for the ramp and board walk or perhaps use a technique like this one: Oh and press your studs together! (last pic above the door and window frames) Nice job overall, Trabor is lucky to have you present!
  22. Lovely vineyard! The house itself is very well done, I like the front façade. The rows and rows of vine make an impressive sight. Not sure about mixing soccer teams and vast quantities of wine though.... good luck with that!
  23. It's on my to-do list. I am away this weekend but am planning to try (no promises ) to get a last minute team together early next week. I think Silentwolf and Mesabi were also planning on trying to get entries in as well!
  24. Thank you Bodi Thanks for the feed back Kai. I'll try mixing some different colours in and breaking up the bottom line next time I use the technique. As for Hojaroja (not sure I like the settlement name btw!) I really like the concept of the autumn island, and am enjoying the quite different style of builds. Thanks Prof, I did think it may have been a bit too Norse, but hopefully it fits in ok! Thanks Garm, no worries. And yes, yes you should! Thank you Capt Wolf, glad yo like it. As I said to Kai, I'll try to add a bit more colour next time I attempt a thatched roof. Hopefully Willem Guilder has a safe trip, and enjoys a cider or two while visiting! Thanks BD. I'm enjoying the combination of colours at the moment, probably one of the reasons I've pumped out quite a few similar builds this month. I can't really take credit for the shield, TLG did that in the Parisian Cafe set! Thank you RocketSeason. I've been lucky enough to have been building up my leaf collection over some time, so it spreads the cost! Also some of them are Alt bricks leaves, which can be a good way to bulk up your collection if you are ok with third party parts. Thanks Mesabi. If I'm honest I don't really see the point of multiple angle photos of this size/style build as they don't really show anything different that you can't already see. Of course if there is something specific you'd like to see in greater detail, just ask - actually this is still built and sitting in the light box where I took the photo. Also this building only has the two visible sides detailed. The rear two sides are plain bricks! As for interiors. On full buildings I hate building them - I mean I really loathe having to construct them it always seems like such a chore and not something I enjoy! I will however include them when I think they are relevant to the story/build, like with the doctors office and armoury. And besides, this size building (I've heard the term minifig illusion scale used before) leaves very little room for an interior!
  25. Nice office Bregir and it is good to see Admiral Fletcher in the brick so to speak! Sure is, quite far above! Although I don't think Corrish nobility has ever been defined anywhere, but generally as I understand it the ranks of the nobility would go (bottom to top): Baron Count/Earl Duke If we were following the English system - rather than the European system - you should actually be styled Earl Mesabi. Of course none of this was actually defined when your title was bestowed upon you and it would seem you skipped the rank of Baron!!! The title of Knight isn't so much a position, rather just denotes someone promoted to the nobility. It means Silentwolf and myself could now style our characters Sir Micah and Sir Dirk. Count/Earl Mesabi's promotion was unusual in that it wasn't accompanied by a Knighthood. A Count however would have be granted extensive lands, and if we were still operating under the feudal system (which we are not) would have probably had several Barons and their lands sworn to him. In short, don't worry, somehow (and the Gods only know why) Count Mesabi is still the highest ranking member of the Corlander nobility that we are aware of in the New World! Of course in our enlightened times he still is not above government appointed positions... so behave!!!
