  1. I had made up my mind to be a Olean blue coat. However, now that I have read the faction descriptions, Corrington is calling my name! How could you force me to switch!? Well at least I have a few more days to decide as I am not yet back home from the holidays. Looking forward to joining with my Figure then.
  2. For the last three years, I have constructed a yearly Christmas village that has made use of Lego's Winter Village sets. This year I added the new Toy Shop but decided to go back in time and create a Western Christmas Village. Thank you for any comments and advice. Have a Merry Christmas everyone. 3. Thank you for the raffle. I won this year which definitely makes up for being too late on my entry last year. :) Cheers to all the winners. Also I loved looking at all the entries.
  4. This moc is impressive. I was especially impressed with the attention to detail that made the boards look loose and bowing. (Ex. on the plank the Bluecoat is walking.) Very well done MOC.
  5. Oleon all the way! :) I love my blue coats.
  6. I am excited! I am going to have to start building more and posting more pictures of what I have built. :)
  7. I didn't own the original toy shop so I bought it this time around. I just finished building it Saturday and I love it! However, I wish they had both re-released this one AND came out with a new addition to the village. :)
  8. This line made me laugh: Looking for the old calendars? Look no further; Eurobricks Advent Calendar 2008, Eurobricks Advent Calendar 2009 Poor years 2010-2014... they don't get included. :)
  9. Impressive sailing vessel!
  10. If I could have any tree I wanted, it would have to be a HUGE BLUE TREE! Emphasis on blue. Ok, so maybe I also would want my wife there and a few presents under it might be nice. Holiday Raffle by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr
  11. I love the grand scale of the landscape. As noted already, I am also impressed that you have almost every ship that I know of in the diorama or at least a modification of them. I am impressed with the extensiveness of it. I have been through the pictures three times already and I keep finding new intricacies to the build that I am enjoying. Thank you for sharing and inspiring all of us.
  12. This was a fun competition with a lot of great builds. I enjoyed looking at the entries and questioning your sanities. Have fun building.
  13. The size and detail of this is amazing. Historical sets are becoming my favorite. I am trying to figure out how you made the rounded corners.
  14. I am impressed and blown away. I love the historic battles. I have a lot to learn.
  15. The Forestmen's Crossing was my first large set. It has held a fondness in my heart ever since. This build is amazing and takes me back to watching Robin Hood as a child. I love the intricate details. I love the fishing line.
  16. I love the intricate details like the ketchup and mustard at every table and the vinyl red and white benches. Also the jukebox is great and looks authentic. I love the build.

  18. The pirates were adamant that they were going to loot the imperials tower. Their plan was to slip in close where the cannon would not be of any use. However, they were spotted to early! The imperial cannons found their marks in blowing a hole through their one comrade and another hole through the boat. Enraged they fired their guns into the door. They then charged into the tower taking it by force and catching its occupants mostly unarmed. Sadly, Silent Wolf is in the middle of battling a Red Imperial warship so he is unable to rush to their aid. See: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=116201#entry2363488 Pillage the Village Tower 1 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr Things are going very badly for the imperials! This imperial didn't have any more of a chance than the pirate shot with a cannon ball. Pillage the Village Tower Close by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr New weapons! Gold! Women! These pirates are making out like... pirates. That poor soldier didn't make it up the stairs. The imperial captain was unable to defend the ladies in the tower. It appears the Pirate captain is having his way with one. Pillage the Village Tower Jump by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr There is no where else left to run... 19. The blue ship is the imperial flagship with some light variations. The red one is a massively remodeled Black Seas Barracuda. (It carries 18 cannons on two decks instead of the original 4 cannons on 1 deck.) This is its third variation. I have no idea on the rarity of the minifigures. My favorite in this build is my display minifigure (Silent Wolf) who is in the middle of the ship cutting through the Red Imperials. We will just say the crew has not swabbed the deck in a few days.
  20. The Red Imperial Army attempted to scavenge a Blue Merchant! However, they did not anticipate that Silent Wolf was the Merchant being attacked, nor that he had a small force of soldiers aboard. After the initial cannon volleys, Silent Wolf's rear mast lay cut in two by a ball-and-chain shot. This enabled the Imperials to attempt a boarding. The fighting was fierce! The Imperials were repelled and Silent Wolf mounted a counter-attack. Things have gone wrong for the Imperials - VERY wrong. 21. This was my first attempt to make an LDD Ship and the first of my own creations for a large ship. Normally, I just modify the sets. I opted to attempt a 74-Gun for some historical accuracy though there is obviously a bunch lacking in order to sail out into history. 74-3 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr Fully Rigged, Three Masts 12A 74-5 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr 74-16 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr 74-10 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr 74-15 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr 74-6 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr There are more pictures on the Flicker Page.
  22. I am looking forward to seeing the finished product.
  23. Hopefully the photo works. I am still trying to figure this out. He is dreaming of what he wants for Christmas, and then you see what he asked for and will most likely get.
