  1. I like this for the simplicity of it. (It is a cornfield!) The build though is awesome and you did a great job making it look like it was actual corn. Though I didn't know they used scythes to harvest it.
  2. The table and lecturne are both well done. I approve.
  3. Corrington would have the coolest looking shipping offices. Though as already stated I like the cobblestone design. The interior is great also and I look forward to seeing it filled with goods.
  4. I like how you used the green bricks to make this brick built ship. It adds a bright and unique look. You need more red though. The most interesting part to me was the 4 pounder cannons. I like the way they look. Also the sails are great.
  5. Puvel is definitely the romantic. Maybe he will find a pearl in that clam shell. I like the sand and water method.
  6. This is a great build with a lot of color that works well together. I love the story line as it is creative and adds much to the future storytelling. Those hats definitely are unique and crazy.
  7. I love the brick built ships. Great usage for the story line and the challenge. The second photo is one of my favorites as I stare straight down the barrel of the cannon firing at the green vessel.
  8. I love the story line. The bushy tree on the right was cool, but it seemed to conflict with the palm trees on the right. I like the clam shells on the shore. It added a true seashore element.
  9. The rock and the greenery are awesome. I am definitely learning a lot from looking at everyone's builds. I also like the female main character. It adds a different perspective. I also appreciate the story line.
  10. The outrigger and the sail definitely are the two best parts of this build. Though I will admit that the more I look at it the more details I see that add together to make this a good build.
  11. It has already been mentioned but the curvature of the fort is well executed. I also like how you worked the door into the wall. It will look forward to seeing more fortifications at some point. Now I need to go buy some more gray bricks...
  12. I am impressed with the sleekness of the vessel. You definitely made a fast ship ready to do your bidding. Are those paper sails or cloth?
  13. This is an awesome build and I think the underwater aspect of it made it even better! I am worried though that with Jonathan being distracted by the singing he might miss the shark angling for his legs.... The posing makes this a superb build. It really does convey the moment being shown with the shocked face, the oblivious singing, the focused rowers and the happy chief.
  14. I love the build and its attention to details. The torches, the chandelier, and the bench inside the shop are great details. The cats on the dock are a great touch also. I also like how you did the masonry. It made it a smooth wall, but with enough variance to make it look real.
  15. I love how you aimed for a non-clear lake! You definitely pulled off the swamp. The story made me chuckle though. :)
  16. I just finished building my Moc for Challenge 1 Category A. However, I was trying to figure out if that counted toward my 2nd free build for the month or if it sat alone and I still have my 2nd slot available. Also, there had been talk of using the 3 Royal Warships as escorts for the MRCA. Who do I need to talk to make sure my ship gets into the convoy (aka knows the proper route.)
  17. Yes, I did license it as a Class 2 WR. I really struggled with that cabin. I felt it was way to high but I couldn't figure out how to lower it without making a crawl hole to get in and out. Your ship gives me some ideas how to fix that for future builds so thank you! I designated it a sloop as I couldn't figure out anywhere else it would properly fall. It was too big to be a class 1. It didn't have enough firepower to be a 2A and was too bulky to be a 2F. Which is why I settled on what I did. It has two small swiveling guns in the bow ports, the two big guns on swivels on the broadside and two more small swivel guns on the stern that could be moved if needed. The sails also needed more, but my Bricklink order is still in the mail so I worked with what I had. I am also working on designing my own sails for my future vessels.

  19. Intro: Silent Wolf After visiting several ship builders down at the docks, the companions realized they did not have enough funds to buy the large ship they wanted. In compromise, Micah and his companions agreed to buy a Sloop in which they could make a voyage west. They also laid a deposit down upon a large ship that their adventure and businesses would pay for upon their return. Caleb found a first mate and hired some sailors for the journey. William enlisted the aid of his friend, another soldier, and they made sure the vessel had sufficient weapons and ammunition. Arthur purchased the food and supplies, and he supervised the loading onto the ship. George installed two swivel guns on the forecastle in order to protect them from any enemy who might pursue them. Micah checked and double-checked everything. Finally, they were ready to set sail. Micah watching from the bow of his first ship. https://flic.kr/s/aHskrA9r1e
  20. Micah "the Silent" of Wolf-Haven, is the second son of Lord Alexander of Wolf-Haven. Lord Alexander was granted his rank and lands from the crown due to his heroic actions and valiant service to the crown during the 49 Years War. He settled down and had several children. His land is willed to go to his eldest son, but the younger Micah is willed to receive the businesses Alexander owns and operates in the various cities. Micah was sent off at the young age of 15 to attend the prestigious Archellon College in Bellson. During college, he was also working at and learning his father's business of raising and selling the best horses in Corrington. Upon graduation, he took over as manager of the business expanding it greatly. He even sailed overseas to trade horses with Varcoast and the Mokolei Empire. These trips gave him a taste for travel and adventure. It was also upon these trips that he acquired his distaste for the corruption of religion that the Oleons follow. Upon hearing of the Queen's offer of rewards for any Corrington who can find and settle land beyond Terraversa, Micah began to dream. In time, Micah enlisted several of his close friends from Bellson and Arlingsport to gather together all the funds they could in order to embark on such an adventure of discovery. It would be no small sum that would outfit this expedition, as they would need to buy a ship, all the guns, and hire a crew. Though she was saddened to see him leave, she had always known he would not settle down until he had seen what was beyond the seas. SAM_6762 (2) by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr
  21. I saw your sugar cane still prior to this one, and I liked it. This one, however, is better and even more refined. The varying techniques used in the oven and the overall concept is amazing. I am enjoying looking at the details. +1 from Corrington
  22. I love the Still and the overall build quality. I am storing ideas to use in my own future builds. +1 from Corrington
  23. I love the wagon and the delivery service ad! The apple leading the horse onward was a great touch. :)

  25. 10 20 23 39 51 I loved so many of the entries that it was hard to reduce it to only 5 votes. These 5 made my list because I felt they attempted a concept that Lego hasn't done before or at least not very much.
