  1. This is an amazing MOC with so many intricate details that I keep looking at it and seeing more intricacies. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us. I need a canvas of this in my Lego room...
  2. This is a beautiful ship. I approve of the build and look forward to seeing it sail the seas.
  3. I approve. Nice little brick built cutter.
  4. The registration form is also linked in the Free-build thread that is pinned at the top. That is the way I access it.
  5. I was going to choose Oleon when the poll was taken. When I read the faction descriptions, I decided I would rather be part of an orderly society than a nation run by secret societies etc. Alas I had to give up my blue outfits, sortof. I worked them in anyway.
  6. I am in agreement with Puvel that it is a reasonable proposal. I would approve of your experiment. However, with just the two ships sailing (so far) it might be advantageous for you if you can work out a privateering option. I am good for an escort though.
  7. I love the terrace farm. I am glad to see there is someone out there us Corlanders can learn new science from. The stream/irrigation ditch looks very realistic.
  8. Oh there are horses on this island... I need to find it so I can train them.
  9. The row boat has always been an issue with me on TLC ships as they never have a place to attach them. My last one also skipped it so I was determined to find a good way to include it this time. I definitely need to use taller slopes on the next ship as per everyone's much appreciated advice. I am looking forward to seeing how it works out with my next planned ship. Thanks for the approval. I also was thrilled with the way the bowsprit (I believe that is what it is called... others are more knowledgeable than I) worked out and looked. Thank you for the compliment to my build. I thought it was my best yet, but it is nice to know it wasn't just builder's bias.
  10. I like where this storyline is going and would be interested to see it expanded. I also like the overall build and that tree system. I will have to try that in the future.
  11. I am liking the progress so far and look forward to seeing it grow.
  12. The "Alexander" was licensed today and will sail on route 3A.
  13. I like the banana plantation and that the Ténotclaxcans, Eslandolans, and Corlanders are at peace and working together. The stone pathway and the clusters of bananas are both done really well. I am still amazed at the crazy hats these people wear. Do you think we can make them a fashion back on the mainland?
  14. On the journey back from the new island, Micah and his crew put the "Flying Colt" in at New Terrelli. While in port, they saw a beautiful cutter that had for sale flyers posted. The partners convened together and decided to use some of the gold they had discovered to purchase this vessel. It would raise less questions to spend the money as merchants in Eslandola then back in Arlinsport. They sent the "Flying Colt" on without them on a trade mission under the escort of the Eslandolan "Queen of Terelli". Unbeknownst to them, the "Flying Colt" was almost seized by privateers. However, the "Queen of Terelli" rescued them. After spending a week repainting and fitting the cutter, Micah and the partners set off with a few new sailors back to Arlinsport. The ship was rechristened the "Alexander" after Micah's father whose business and protection they were sailing under. The "Alexander" proved to be a fast vessel and got them to Arlinsport in superb time. This is my third free build this month so please let me know if you approve. Maxim, I am licencing this cutter to Micah (Silent Wolf) as a 2F. Previous builds: Intro: Silent Wolf FB: "Flying Colt" Ch1 CatA: Ahoy, Fishermen! FB: Back at the Ranch... 15. I like this moc. The landing is looking realistic and the jungle vegetation is amazing. I had never considered using the horns and hot dogs in that manner. I love the watcher in the jungle. It is shaping up to be an adventurous walk through the forest. I also like the usage of the brown bow to make the second palm tree. My only critique is the usage of 2 fleshies and 1 yellow minifigure. The first look made it seem weird. However, the more I thought about it and looked at them I concluded you were trying to show different skin tones with the combination. It could work, it just seems like such a clash at first glimpse.
  16. Lord Alexander's horse business would not be complete without a way to draw in new customers. What better way than to have a blacksmith shop to serve the community? Whenever anyone in Arlingsport needed a new horse, Alexander's horse business immediately was spoken of. They also spoke favourably of his son Micah's fair management of the business. Gregory the blacksmith enjoyed his work. Early in the morning the shop, he would head to the shop to start for the day. By the time Charles would come by with a horse to be shod, Gregory would already be working with his bellows and hammers making some new iron design for usage in the houses of Arlinsport. 17. Another fun hanging... though I am glad for a 3db debt he escaped. I am intrigued with these natives different outfit and that beard. Nice usage of these minifigures.
  18. Elizabeth's parent's home Arlinsport blacksmith shop is working busily. Both have been registered and licensed.
  19. After the long trip of exploration, Micah was happy to be back in Arlinsport. He promptly dressed up and made his way over to the home of his fiancee's parents. Upon his announcement, Elizabeth quickly made her way to the door. He had much to tell her. SAM_6914 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr SAM_6918 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr I attempted a technique for the house siding that I hadn't done before. I am not entirely thrilled with how it turned out, but it did give a semblance of a clapboard house. Advice and critique is welcome. 20. The fire is a great portion to this build. I do like the overall story though I must remember to keep my soldiers away from that drink. I wouldn't want them getting a taste of that yummy stuff. The vegetation could use a little variation in order to keep it from looking perfectly ordered. I look forward to more builds.
  21. I have to give my approval to this build. The details and overall look are awesome. I am particularly fond of the water fountains, though I also question the wisdom of them being on the roof. I hope it doesn't leak.
  22. The build is very nice. I love the transition from the water to the wet sand, and then to dry sand before transitioning to the jungle. The raising of the flag is a nice touch as well. I also love the base/edging you used for the presentation.
  23. I love the storyline. It fits well into the Corrington ideology. The bell and the backwards black slopes are both great touches that add detail to the build. Keep up the great work.
  24. I love the vegetation and especially the palm tree tops. However, I hope those natives thought he said hello....
