  1. I am curious if there has been any progress/more pictures of this. I attempted to make a 74 via LDD but it would be far inferior to this in size and not nearly as proportional as this one. I would especially love to see interior photos.
  2. I will sound like an echo but the waterfall is indeed amazing. However, the overall detail of this is beyond impressive. Your technique for the water definitely creates a realistic look. I am very impressed and I keep finding more things to be impressed with.
  3. All these are impressive. You are stretching my mind.
  4. Very nice. I am especially fond of the rounding of the hull. Mine always look like someone chopped something off. I will have to implement that into future models.
  5. I never owned Fort Legoredo as a child, but it was the inspiration behind many fort creations of my own over the years. I finally bought it as an adult and enjoyed putting it together. However, one of these days I am going to use the Fort and my own creations and combine them into one.
  6. I love this. Western is one of my favorite themes. I was trying to figure out how you did the buffalo. That is one of the saddest points of the Western sets that they never released any buffalo or antelope or deer.
  7. No, I am not impressed at all. That doesn't look amazing. (Awed sarcasm alert.) Great project and amazing details.
  8. I loved the Skull's Eye Schooner as a child and always wanted one. Still don't have one to this day though I have some of the other ships. Awesome ship.
  9. Actually, I am neither. I am studying at a small Christian college in the South Dallas area.
  10. I love how you redid one of the sets from my childhood. I am especially fond of the authentic look of the palm tree. Thank you for posting this.
  11. My very first set was 6071 Forestmen's Crossing. I was about 6 or 7 when I received it. It was a great set that I still have though the instructions are falling apart. I had to replace a few of the pieces over the years also.
  12. Hello everyone! I just found out about this group via the Facebook page. When I came over I saw the 5th LDD RCB and that it was a Western town theme. I was immediately interested in knowing what else this group did. I am following now following that thread and looking forward to seeing the final product. I started playing with LEGOs when I was about 5. I have always loved horses so my earliest sets all contained at least one horse. I had used the LDD 4-6 times over the past 8 years, but this site has inspired me to get back into using it. My favorite themes are Western, Medieval (particularly Robin Hood era), and Imperials (particularly modified to the American Revolution.) Last year, I also started building a Christmas village using a combination of the winter village sets and my own creations. I am presently going to college for my Master's and working full time so I stay too busy. However, I do enjoy playing PC games or building LEGOs when I have time. Most of my creations are MODs or small MOCs that are added to existing sets to fill them out. I will work on getting some pictures up of things I have done. I look forward to learning new techniques and getting new ideas from this group.
  13. Practice, practice, practice. Ok, I know how forumns work, but I just wanted to try out some of the features before venturing elsewhere. I am looking forward to this group and learning new things in regard to my Lego constructions. I am off to the introduction forumn.
