  1. Different color for the shoes would be an improvement, but I still think the shoe part should be much smaller unless they are boots, just a line on the bottom would be fine. The only shorts that look ok, are the ones on the lifeguard and surfer minifigs. imo.
  2. The dual molded legs that simulate shorts is one of the most poorly executed ideas in lego overall for me. It just looks like a yellow stripe, nothing like shorts, especially on short legs. I think the bottom part should just be yellow.
  3. What? A new bug? Hopefully it will look much better than the old one, i am not a fan of that blocky design, but not sure how to get around it for such a bubly car.
  4. That looks great. Makes me wish I was tiny so i can play in it.
  5. 5 or 6 figures out of 18 with potentially useful pieces for me. Is Usula's spikey thingy a piece seen before?
  6. 13251 http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?id=121647#T=C
  7. i love the Fabuland creatures, they are funny, The autumn one didn't have any.
  8. This is why I don't think it's good to see leaks too early. Imagine if we knew all the future sets 2 years in advance. We would go old of waiting and by the time it's all released, probably lose interest. My birthday is aug24 too, and might be in Billund then.
  9. Thanks. Supermarkets sell them here so i figured it might be the same there. I might stumble upon one of those, though they are probably only in larger cities. What about Muller?
  10. btw, where in Germany would one find cmf packets anyway? I sometimes install medical equipment in Germany for a week or two at a time and all I can find are Kaufland, Lidl, Aldi and Penny none of which stock any LEGO at all. I can find them in Spar here, but I couldn't find any Spars in Germany.
  11. This is going to be a mess. I predict most of these will be bought up by resellers in Germany who will then ship them to the rest of the world for a premium.
  12. Why did you leave all the hard to get pieces last? I noticed many people do this. I always obtain the rarest and most expensive first and then the rest is easy. This way I don't get stuck with a half finished project. You can always get light bluish grey bricks, they are in hundreds of sets so very little chance for them to become expensive or rarer. While certain parts can double in price within a very short time period. Brickficiency is good for telling you what is rarest. Of course you run the risk of paying top dollar for parts that get re-released in the meantime, but chances for this are far less than them becoming more expensive. It might be worth waiting a month or two if you want to start collecting near the end of the year just to see if any elements come back in sets for the upcoming year.
  13. Not that i think it would pass, but i don't find the Land Cruiser boring I much prefer it to F40, Caterham and especially that Corvette. Not everyone likes fast cars. I like vehicles with a different set of capabilities, and that LC is a sort of godfather in the 4x4 world
  14. Cyborg hair is baristas hair and the babysitter has the zombie cheerleader hair, both "just" recolors, but very welcome, especially the blond.
  15. First time the choice really surprised me. The Caterham seems like a strange choice since it's mostly a european thing. I don't know anything about adventure time, but i am willing to learn.

  18. Cool. looks a bit american diner(ish) combined with a bit of east european communist era fast food / bar Not sure where you are from, but judging by the alcohol bottles and glasses in a caffe, I'll assume it's not USA. but then you have the waiter doing refills with the coffee jar which is again very american. I like it, it's quite fitting to the Cafe Corner design. Really great photos, you made an effort to capture this right.
  19. no LEGO logo on the studs, so it's not original, whatever it is.
  20. Thanks i appreciate it, started to think nobody would bother checking. I ordered 150 of one 1x4 brick from b&p, is this not allowed? My order is still in warehouse after 1 week. Maybe that's why.
  21. Even though i really need this, i would never buy it. Not sure if it's a good thing. Maybe it pushes lego to reintroduce some elements in sand green. Some colors seem to be stubbornly kept rare for no reason. It's not like they have to make new molds. Every time tlg misses some part of the market, china will fill it for them.
  22. But s16 has a blue baby, you still have to get the park set for a white one. The creepyness of the baby is the best part.
  23. They no longer make the planet dome pieces either, but if the idea works well enough, it's not completely impossible they make a specialty magnet piece for that, it's just mostly impossible.
