    That is an amazing model, however I am not sure I understand why someone would contribute the display space much less money for a model such as this that they did not make. I wish Ed all the luck in selling this, but just not sure who or why someone would want it or buy it. Andy D

    It might be easier to just buy another modular and mod it. This may sound expensive, but buying the bricks separately for a modular can cost much more than just buying a modular and modding it. You could always do it in LDD, then order from a parts list. Baseplate, either 16x32 or 32x 32.     This is such a great topic. It seems that frequently when new people come to EB they ask this question. If one reads through this thread there are many answers, and occasionally someone contributes a new thread with a new idea which could add to this resource. I guess what I am getting at is...Since this is such a wonderful resource, why can't this thread be pinned so it is easier to find? Andy D

    It seems that there should be an official LEGO Designer's video for the Santa's Workshop. Maybe I just missed it, maybe I just forgot about it, maybe I'm having a senior moment. Who knows, but if there was (is) an official video will someone be kind enough to point me to it? Thanks, Andy D

    That is really good. I looks like the cyro tubes go off to infinity. I also looked at some of your other Aliens scenes and they are great as well! Are you trying to create most of the movie? Keep it up, looks great! Andy D

    I like troupe, but what I feel I have is either an epidemic or infestation of minifigs ;) Depending on how I feel when I am sorting and organizing. I swear, I put them in a bin and they just keep multiplying. Andy D

    Unless you just want to buy a new camera, think about learning to use the camera on your phone. Most smartphones have very good camera Apps. Either use the one built in, or buy an app from the App Store. Someone once said "The best camera is the one you have with you". So just take the time to really learn your smartphone's camera and save your money. Andy D

    After reading and trying to digest this thread, all I come away with is that some people have a different opinion from others. On the topic of female mini figs... I thought LEGO was in some ways supposed to represent the world we live in, fantasy or otherwise and the last time I looked there were two genders... Male and female and I say "viva la difference".
