  1. Nice curvy line with that red tube! Interesting idea to use two tires on one rim. Have yout tried how does it look with only single tire centred? It is hard to see how you transfered steering from the longitudinal axle to the hub, got any closer and a bit brighter shots of that detail?
  2. Great job on front wheel drive integration. I don't recall seeing any better solutions done by chain.
  3. You did great on the SW speeder mimic. Looks spot on!
  4. Wow, really amazing combination of technicality and looks. Awesome workaround on the wind shield!
  5. Wow, this came out splendid. Outdoor photos were well worth the cold I like your whole approach to the creations and presentation a lot. Plus, I can see that you know something about motorcycles, at least much more than I do Good luck on the competition! Best regards, Miha
  6. Thank you both. I was affraid that the calipers wouldn't hold very well, but they do the job quite OK, but still, they can't take much abuse.
  7. And a wrap up... it was a really nice contest and I am glad I managed to participate after so much time since my last contest. This is my first Motorbike MOC and I enjoyed it a lot. Final photos and the video as follows... Mandatory photo of the internals/chassis. As you can see, mine has a pretty thin spine Building instructions are available for purchase Rebrickable.com: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-64340/MajklSpajkl/the-red-blaze/ And last but hopefully not least... a video: I hope you like it. Best regards, Miha
  8. THE RED BLAZE Features: - soft tail - front suspension - V-Twin fake engine - two speed manual/pedal gearbox (L-N-H) Chassis / Internals photo: Video: Discussion topic:
  9. You nailed the shape well and true to the oiginal. And you did the best that could be done with the front mudguard. I think some curved motorbike mudguards pieces would really bring LEGO motorbikes on a higher level - I hope TLG will take this next step with Ducati successor. Great job on the internals as well Best regards.
  10. I like it a lot, except the front looks a bit too bulky and high over the steering bar for me. The rear end behind the seat looks realy nice and the CVT - oh yeah
  11. Wow, I really need to check this part of forum more often. This is amazing! Congratulations on the fantastic project.
  12. Indeed those new panels look very futuristic! I like the whole shape of the bike and the side line is wonderfull. I really love the two panels above the rear tyre. Well done.
  13. Thank you @Milan for quick reply, was hoping for the other answer but it is fine. Knowing how to present a model in a few photos only, is a virtue by itself as well Best regards.
  14. @Jim and @Milan: I am finishing up my presentation and want to make sure about the entry topic photo limit. Is it 4 + 1 for the chassis, or is that one of the chassis included in the max 4? The way I read it is 4+1, but would like to be sure. Thank you for clarification and best regards. Miha
  15. @Targi: Thank you, I confirm all is visible now. I am sorry to cause you trouble, it was not my intention and getting the model ready is of more importance by all means. I hope you manage to finish the model as planned. Now that I can see the photos - very cool model. It is great that you managed to integrate a working engine at this scale. Best regards.
  16. What quality standards?! Regarding colours - reddish brown - cracking like a frozen forrest
  17. @Targi: I can see photo via the link, but the photos embedded in the forum are not visible (only icon with file name). Nice scooter by the way
  18. Excellent choice of tires (those are still on my "to-buy" list) and quite inovative steering for a motorbike. Great job so far
  19. This is great. Very smooth looking. I like how the giant battery box is very neatly put in the bed, looking like a cargo or a bed cover. Well done!
  20. Awesome kickstart mechanism!!! And the string clutch idea very much the same - Briliant!
  21. Playin' with fire... Received the last missing parts, invested in some black axle-pins to get rid of the blue. Still have to make final photos. I the meantime, I was playing with some render in Stud.io. Best regards!
  22. To be honest, I really like everything, but the swingarm. The rest of the bike looks cool - I don't know, those swingarm solutions just don't appeal to me in general... I assume it is also not in it's final state and I know you'll make the best of it. Best regards.
  23. Wow, looks like a lot of fun!!! Great little build.
