Are we allowed to show the effects that a corporation had on a planet after they left? Such as what animals end up doing to the equipment or anything left behind, etc.

I'm glad that MKJoshA added this to the book list. I chose what I thought was the most iconic scene from the book and incorporated as many details as I could from the pages such as the glass floor, the foliage on the walls, the two guards outside, the yellow jar of fruits, the Ice Mountain in the center of the table, and even the clothes that the people are wearing. *Spoiler Alert* If you haven't read the book, just look at the pictures from here, and the last couple lines that are not in italics. If you want a small synopsis the events leading up to this build, read below: The Truce at Bakura By: Kathy Tyers No sooner has Darth Vader's funeral pyre burned to ashes on Endor than the Alliance intercepts a call for help from a far-flung Imperial outpost. Bakura is on the edge of known space and the first to meet the Ssi-ruuk, cold-blooded reptilian invaders who, once allied with the now dead Emperor, are approaching Imperial space with only one goal: total domination. Princess Leia sees the mission as an opportunity to achieve a diplomatic victory for the Alliance. But it assumes even greater importance when a vision of Obi-Wan Kenobi appears to Luke Skywalker with the message that he must go to Bakura—or risk losing everything the Rebels have fought so desperately to achieve. Even as the Alliance arrives, the aliens have almost overcome the Bakura Imperial garrison, whose desperate commander will accept help from any quarter—even Rebel—against an insidious foe that enslaves Human minds to pilot their invincible machines of war and destruction. While marshalling the tattered Imperial forces, Luke, Han Solo, and Princess Leia must win the trust and cooperation of the Bakurans. For although Imperial Governor Nereus has granted the Rebels temporary amnesty there is the possibility of treachery among those whose first allegiance lies with the Empire. On the eve of the final explosive onslaught, Rebel and Imperial forces must finally come to terms with each other…or lose the entire galaxy to the hideous servitude promised by a victorious alien enemy. Capturing the sweep and excitement of the original Star Wars saga, The Truce at Bakura plants a seed of hope for peace, sees the formation of a timeless love, and stands witness to a Jedi's undying sacrifice to defend Humanity against an alien nemesis. My Version: Main Picture "They caught up with Leia at the entrance to a dining hall surrounded by interior trees with dangling, drifting branches. More vine-covered white stone walls enclosed the trees, and at their center he spotted a table that was roughly triangular, with its corners blunted for extra seating. Then he looked down. Blue-green water rippled beneath the room's transparent flooring. Underwater lights cast a small moving shadows of fish and an occasional long, snakelike creature. Finally, amid the table stood a miniature mountain range delicately carved from some translucent mineral and lit from inside like one of the rain pillars. Tiny blue rivers trickled down its sides." ... "Trees along the vine-covered walls raised their branches like arms." ... "Human servants scurried away from the table-he had yet to see a droid anywhere-probably having to rearrange seating to accommodate Chewbacca. Captison escorted Leia to a spot next to himself along one side, Madam Captison took the other chair on that end. An elderly man, wearing a voice box on his chest-Senator Belden, Luke realized-already sat next to her on that corner. "Just beyond him, dear," she told Chewbacca. Luke grinned despite his distraction. Dear wasn't a term he'd have applied to a Wookie." The Dining Room "Flanked by a pair of troopers in black uniform, Governor Nereus strode to the third corner of the table and sat down." ... "The liquid clung to the glass like syrup. "Go ahead." She raised an eyebrow. "It's not toxic Our finest local product. You're insulting Bakura if you refuse." She poured herself an equal portion and drank it down. He sipped. Liquid turned to fire and burned his mouth and throat. Then he caught its flavor, like intoxicating jungle flowers mingled with the sweetest fruit he'd ever tasted. Her eyes sparkled. Obviously, she hadn't missed a nuance of his reaction. "What is it?" he whispered. He cooled his mouth with a sip of water. "Namana nectar. One of our chief exports." "I can understand why." "More?" She reached for the carafe again. "Thanks." He grinned. "But no. That's a little strong for my taste." Gaeriel laughed and filled his goblet anyways. "There's likely to be a toast soon." .... She passed him a transparent dish of yellow-orange candies. "Maybe you'd prefer tasting namana fruit this way." "Habit forming?"..."All the best fruits in the galaxy are habit forming. Be careful."....He decided to leave the candies alone-... The Truce being agreed upon. "That [a message from an officer] was a personal communique from Admiral Prittick of the Fleet. You might as well hear it." His strident voice took on a knife edge. "His message confirms the Rebels' claims. The second Death Star has been destroyed, and Emperor Palpatine is presumed dead...as is Lord Vader. The Fleet is regrouping near Annaj." ... ..Governor Nereus shook his head. "Princess Leia," he said, standing up at his place, "if your troops are willing to cooperate with mine, under truce, we need your help." Leia's shoulders straightened. "An official truce, Your Excellency?" "As official as I can make it" That sounded evasive to Luke, but evidently it satisfied Leia. She stood and extended her hand. The massive bracelet shimmered on her wrist; it seemed to add the weight of many star systems to her handclasp. This was a long strectch for both sides, literally and figurativleyy. For the first time-ever-Rebels and Imperials would fight a common enemy together. Nereus engulfed her small hand in his gloved, meaty one. Then he lifted his goblet. "To strange alliances." Everyone follows...etc...needs cooperation....ect... The Dining Room 2 Side View The Imperial Officer who delivered the bad news. Left to Right: Imperial Officer, Guard 1, Guard 2, Beltar Server Left to Right: Senator Belden, Gaeriel Captison, Tiree Captison, Uncle Yeorg Captison, Wilek Nereus, Leia Organa, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca More Pictures inside the spoiler! (Because I take too many… ) Hope you liked it! It was fun to build. Even with the new camera, some of the pictures turned out a bit fuzzy, I think it was my lighting… If you've read the book, how accurate do you think it is? Anyways, C and C is always welcome! ~Beltar Edit: Added/fixed a sentence Edit 2: Added my 'evidence' + What one would read at the beginning of a Star Wars movie + summaries More official summaries: Official Version 2: Official Version 3:

The story so far: First Day Aboard the Avenger At The Table-Before The Storm Rescue Mission Reassigned Eliminating The Competition The Build/Story: After being reassigned and lots of delivering the podracer, along with lots logistics and paperwork from Tatooine, Beltar finally got into an AT-MP as his new Staff Sargent had promised. Even though Beltar read the manual multiple times, it was still nearly alien to him. Though, in a few long minutes, he finally got the hang of it. Beltar: “Sarge, what kind of medical purpose does this thing have?” Sarge: “Uh, cover fire? Kid, just do it…” Beltar: “Instructions? Anything? Just fire at the wall?” Sarge: “No, there are some targets that will appear in a minute, hit them all as fast as you can, if you miss them, they will loop back at the end. Please don't pull an Ol ‘Kerkerold’ He blew up half the facility. That’s when we decided to lock all missiles during training…” Beltar then received the green signal that the loop had been started. Beltar’s eyes watched trough the small window for the slightest movement. Then suddenly, he realized that it wasn't a moving target, but a bright red dot! He hit one, then another one. And they stayed lit. “Two-in-a-row, nice. I shouldn't get cocky yet though…” Beltar thought to himself. Sarge: Huh, two-in-a-row. Kirk, this kid may have some use yet . Captain Kirk: Aye, don't speak too soon though, a lot can go wrong… Like Ol’ K- Beltar: I can hear you two you know. Sarge: Focus on the targets! Meanwhile, an Imperial Adjustment Agency Officer* (IAA) watches on, with his two elite guards, they assess the surrounding troops at Bay 27 for possible relocation, reassignment, or to be relieved of duty. IAA Officer: Some of these boys are sloppy. Perhaps they can be ‘reassigned’ to a better location…” Guard 1: Agreed sir. Guard 2: Sir, I do not see what you mean. IAA Officer: Just listen to them! Stormtrooper 1: Hey Boris, do you think Beltar will pull an Ol’ Kerkerold? Boris: Nah, I was with him for a mission on Tatooine, seems like a good guy, he should do this. Oh! Two-in-a-row! I’ll take those 50 credits now. After this, I’ll grab a set of sabacc by the way. Stormtrooper 2: This is so boring. Even a janitor duty would be better...Especially if this guy blows up the walls... IAA Officer: That one, could be relocated to janitor duty. But their Sergeant and the one named Kirk are good at their job here, they can stay as well as this Boris character, others can move. But this Beltar. This Beltar shows promise. He may be useful in the future, oh there’s four-in-a-row now. He may be very, very useful. I shall write a path for him and file it to the IAA myself. Pending approval from the board of course. Guard 1: This doesn’t have to do with the fact that Beltar is your so- IAA Officer: Quiet. That is a private matter. He may be even better at my old job that I had late in the Clone Wars, except re-outfitted with an improved version of the suit of course, we shall wait for at least two months for that hopefully. Now let’s leave this area of the facility to judge the rest of the troops, then we shall return to Coruscant. Guard 1 and 2: Sir, yes sir. During the IAA discussion, Beltar managed to get a six-in-a-row before missing the 7th and 8th out of the ten causing an actual loop to happen, but he did complete it on the 2nd round. Epilogue: (Beltar has just gotten down from the AT-MP) Sarge: You did a great job so- (Commlink Buzzes) Uh-hu, command, this is SS-4459 reporting, I’ll get our team ready. Beltar, Admiral, no Commander Wiesson and two squadrons of stormtroopers just lost contact with us. From their last transmission, sounds like a rebel ambush. Boris! Get the squad ready. Beltar, follow me. Beltar: Admiral Wiesson? I know him, a good friend of mine, we have to get there, we got to get him out of there! Sarge: First, he’s now a commander. Second, let me finish. They just sent one medical team down already. They are now missing too. We are to search for survivors and get out of there ASAP. Looks like there will be some lower bunks available after this…I’ll brief the rest of the squad, you get the pilots ready. Beltar:...Understood sir... Sarge: Look, this Wiesson is your friend, if he is still alive, we will do anything we can to save him and any remaining men. I don’t like losing good men to rebels. Get to the hangar and inform the pilots. NOW! Beltar then scurried off and informed the pilots of the upcoming drop. They loaded an AT-MP on and prepared tents, stretchers, supplies…and wingsuits. “What on earth are they going to use those for?” Beltar thought to himself. More Pictures in the spoiler below. Thanks for reading! C and C welcome! Hope you like it! This is actually one of the biggest MOCS I've ever built or posted on eurobricks... Also, the story isn't that great, for two reasons: 1: I don't have enough time since I still have to write 2 more threads today.. and 2: I don't really know what else to add, this build is more like a bridge which will allow me to develop Beltar's story further. This was a wip for at least a month and a half. Then it was completed for the last half month, but I didn't have a good camera, but now I do! I hinted about a lot of different things in this build… ~Beltar Edit: Forgot to Mention that Markus's build gave some inspiration. IAA* Fake Imperial Military Branch, may have importance later…

Woah. First off: Lovely story, it is deep, with a meaning. Second: Amazing build! Those rocks are great, the awesomnium representation is great...is it partially liquid? The Octan flag is a great touch too. But that ship...That ship is the bomb, so many great details on it, and it has a great shape, and the landing gears look great! Third: The way you did your border is really cool! Overall, a top notch build! ~Beltar

[K-E10] Polar Military Base on Traig IV
Commander Beltar replied to NuckElBerg's topic in AG1 Archive
Amazing build! That's a whole lot of guns...I love all the little details you put in certain places, intentional or not. Those microscale ships look great too! (You should register the Alpha Class ship, if you have a name, as some mentioned before...) Do those sensor pick up any movement and instantly shoot scan the target object? ~Beltar -
Thanks for the comments everyone! Glad you like it! The foliage was a lot of fun! Haha! I think with time I will make him more insane. Perhaps Beltar forgot to take a pill or something that day on D10? I'm trying to keep my story going without it all being in caps from a madman Anyways, glad you like the build/story too!

Location: A07 Lesser Direstan Tags: Land/Water Vehicle, Piracy, Spying =================================================================================================================================================== Begin Log, Chapter 1, Part: 004: “Planet hoppin’ is a semi-fun task. Anyways, I’ve been on a boat for the last couple hours. Even though the air on this part of the planet has been recorded as breathable, I will NOT trust it, kinda a pet peeve of mine. I really won't breath on an alien planet without a purifier near by. Thank Kawashita that this boat isn’t big enough for PauL to get on…He VOLUNTEERED to come with me, there’s barely enough space for me! Oh what do we have here? You look like some of the people that Koro reported. The Dust Demons. Computer, begin transmission with PauL. Computer: Yes sir. PauL: Yes sir? Paul, I’m going to need permission from headquarters to engage a long Dust Demon. PauL: Okay sir, first off, I need to record at least one line of the Dust Demon and I need a description of what he is doing. Okay, I’ll get you a line. Computer, amplify the Dust Demon's speech. Computer: Relaying Now: Ugh, terrible planet, but great money for exporting these, by Dues, they are beauties! These babies are gonna get me a whole lot of gold stuff. I just basically repeated myself…I gotta get ‘em of this planet though. Why do people on Orinshi love these threes? And oh my! I’m talking to myself again… Computer: He’s is now silent. Okay, PauL did you get that? Yes sir, but I still need your description of what he is doing. HE’S GETTING TREES TO SMUGGLE ONTO ORINSHI FOR CRYING OUT LOUD PAUL! Sorry, I exploded again, anyways, don’t add the 'for crying out loud PauL' please. PauL: Okay sir. ...Brief Silence.... P (cont.): Permission to Engage Granted Roger that PauL! Surprise you little demon! Demon: Where'd you come fr— Threat Neutralized. PauL: Good. Yeah now what PauL? I could hang here, seems like the oxygen here is breathable, I wont trust it though till we get a purifier here. PauL: Is everything loaded onto the boat? Yup PauL: Sir, we must take the body and supplies back to HQ for investigation. *sigh* Okay, well maybe I can redeem my Kawashita Land Grant Permissions on this planet...At a later date of course. PauL: Let's get going please... Close Log, Chapter 1, Part 004 =================================================================================================================================================== More Pics in the spoiler! This was a fun build, because I have never actually built good trees before! Yet funny how these trees are not normal trees. Yes, Kawashita has Land Grants on conquered planets. I think. I needed some sort of smuggler, so I figured Koro's may as well work so that it could fit in to continuity because of the Dust Demons being close by. Anyways: C & C Welcome! ~Beltar

Thanks for the information on the Alien Builds/how to use them/what they are! And I hope in the future we could have unlimited non-judged builds for the sake of story telling because I had some ideas for future stories, but I don't want them to count, because they'd be on far less valuable planets... ~Beltar
-
This question was sort of answered on the other page/Kawashita Dojo, but are we allowed to have our weekly freebuild + challenge build + unlimited amounts of 'freebuilds' that don't count towards domination or judging, that are just for story sake or for fun? And I don't quite get how alien builds fit in, do they count as your weekly build? Sorry if these have been answered before, but I just need some clarification for some of my future builds. ~Beltar

First off, thanks! And yes, those are bionicle legs! (also your build looks great so far!) The 1st and 3rd are my favorites too, but the bonsai tree is a really close 3rd. As mccoyed said there are alternatives if you don't have certain parts. I have absolutely no red plant parts other than flowers, so I improvised, basically, just look in a bin of random red parts and thinner white parts, and hopefully you will soon have a tree! Oddly enough...these are actually the first good trees I've ever built. ~Beltar Edit: I really need to double check my typing before I hit post...
-
I love the idea of red trees for Lesser Direstan! Though, I used white instead of brown, I don't have enough types of brown parts for it. Anyways, tell me what you think of these trees! The rightmost one reminds me of a bonsai tree. If you were into PAB a couple years ago you'd probably have a billion red flowers like me. Seriously. I still have like 50 left more in a bin. + like 200 more grasses to go with them but I never found a good use for 'em. If you want to view some close ups, click here. (Takes you to my flickr album) ~Beltar Edit: Just realized the pics don't do them much justice, they look far better in the real world. But by the time I take photos of the build, I will hopefully have a better camera!

[K - D09] Rats, Ruins, and Survival
Commander Beltar replied to Commander Beltar's topic in AG1 Archive
Thanks for the comments! Glad you guys like it! I was going to add a bit of Kawashita color...But I ran out of room, so I had to take it out. Nono, it just shows I could have joined them and had good little builds ...But Kawashita shall be supreme! ~Beltar Edit: I added some new lines at the beginning of the story. -

I totally exploded I front of Operative Q and his team. I shouldn't have done that. They probably have now taken me as insane. Hopefully they didn't report it...Anyways, my next mission after cave diving on the Hamilton Belt was to investigate a very faint and strange signal that came from Magrathea. It appeared to be from the likes of minifigs, but I still don’t know. PauL is currently in orbit right now while I survey this anomaly. Oh my, is that a crash site! Computer, relay a message to base: The strange signal appears to be a long lost Octan scout ship. Scramble set Beta IxIXXl. PauL, do you read me? [D - D09] Rats. Ruins, and Survival by DaDudeDownDaStreet, on Flickr PauL: Hello sir. Hello PauL, from what I can see it appears to be an old Octan Scout ship, really old by the looks of it. Internals are freezing, and the engines are shot, and supplies missing. Begin a Sonar Scan of the world to locate the rest of the debris PauL: Okay sir, SS started. Any possibility for survivors or any bodies? [D - D09] Rats. Ruins, and Survival by DaDudeDownDaStreet, on Flickr Yeah, there is one right here…His oxygen tank is disconnected, looks like he had a struggle with something before he died, this man certainly put up a fight. AH! There’s one right here! Shoooo! Get outta here! Okay, back on topic, create a cross reference for any Octan member part of the MAET ECAR Initiative that has gone missing. PauL: Sir, we don’t have any of Octans Records, or at least any available to our level of security. …Okay then. Well since there appears to be a water well right here, we might as well get some of it. Send some collectors down. And don’t talk to me for the next half hour please, same with you computer. PauL and computer: Roger that sir. Ah well, this poor guy, wonder what kind of story he would tell me if he was still alive. Haha! Amazing build! Can't type much at the moment, I'll edit it later if I have time. I like how you incorporated the logo and my build into it! The actual mining facility looks great, also, great job on the story! The explanation, and what you've done to Beltar! It gives me ideas for future builds...And...how about extreme tan? ~Beltar

Well you already did sign up, I believe it's just that the Player Index hasn't been updated in awhile, even this episodes XP have not been added in either, and remember, the people that make this game run have things such as exams at this time, so be patient for an update to it. But you can start building right away! ~Beltar

Wonderful Build! Nice use of that baseplate, CLAPPIE's character is great! The foliage you created is also neat!
-
Amazing build! Great show of Kawashita's technology. The way you crated the asteroid field is really cool! I also like the story!
-
Cool little build! Love the functions, and I like how you created the shipping log. The build reminds me of the 'rebirth' of Anakin as Darth Vader!
-
Great job on the lava and the rocks! That creature looks cool too. The parts that you used for the lava...sprouts?... is a cool technique. And the photographs show a real sense of action of the chase.

Wow. Awesome! Hilariously amazing story, and you are really good at making labs too! That frog...is...amazing..! All the details you added, to the most minor one, really help this look like a lab! I love the petri dishes and the equipment a lot, you really paid attention to detail!
