Classic Space Rovers and a little more!
Commander Beltar replied to Commander Beltar's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks! (just imagine it has faded even though his torso is brighter....hehehe...) And yes, I believe this is it: http://web.archive.o...ricksAndPieces/ ~Beltar -
Finished these rovers up recently. Each has something behind the design/idea. (duh.) First off: The D-09 Classic Space Rover: D-09 The D-09 is a very new rover for astronauts. They can ride it, but it also has an AI. The AI acts like an intelligent dog. It also has an interchangeable system in it: (bit of a bad picture, I know) Classic Space Rover: D-09 Now onto the next rover: Just a simple old styled one. Old Style Classic Space Buggy Yes...yes...That is a gray Classic Space man.....Got the helmet recently..to bad I am don't have all the old gray parts to complete him. This rover is based off a Bricks 'n Pieces PDF of the original magazine. The next one: Classic Space Segway! This segway was just a fun build. There are some points on it that I would like to improve. (Strength and Balance) Group Picture: Classic Space Group Picture The upside down classic space man is meant to be like that. I don't have a name so if you have some suggestions, I'm open eared. Mr. Yellow Classic Space man is pretty sad. He injured his leg on his last mission..... I also did some Blacktron stuff recently, I forgot to post them when I did them so I decided not to. They are in my flickr. (Click any of the picture links to get to my flickr.) I know that these are just a few mini things, but I wanted to know what you guys thought. And always for me, C & C welcome! ~Beltar

Advanced Armored Recon/Guard Mech
Commander Beltar replied to Commander Beltar's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Yeah I see that too. I am designing a new head for it at the moment , and I thought about the yellow or black cyclops. Who knows, might be the one I make next? That would be really cool if I was to use it as one! Though, it may be a little to big for it. Haha, I am very aware of the illegal connections everywhere. 'Sometimes' I stray from the rules of lego.......hehe....... I also found a way to 'remove' a couple of illegal connections, but it requires moving everything out by a plate. Might try that just to see what it's like. I will probably update this post tomorrow with the new head design. ~Beltar Edit: Well here's a possible head design: Updated Head Hmm.. then it seems I can use it as one! ll ll v -
This is a pretty small mech that i finished today. Thought I'd share it: The Advanced Armored Recon/Gurad (A.A.R.G.) Mech. Gun(s) Version One on the right, version two on the left: And A shot behind it: I will probably fix up some of the joints, because I'm not to pleased with some. Also I will need to fix a couple, certain parts. (With a keen eye, you will notice) ~Beltar C & C Welcome!

M: Tron Turtle (Better Angle) Wonder if anyone noticed my mistakes on the arrows..... In all my other photos they are correct..... -
I love the design of it with all those little details! But it is lacking one thing in my opinion, bumblebee stripes. I believe that is one of the last things you need to change before it's complete NCS. The trans yellow helped too. But still, is a great spaceship! ~Beltar

Soo yeah, basically the title, but has anyone tried customizing Lego dogs? Any of the multiple types of main Lego dogs, has it been done before? I mean with use of decals, printing, etc. Because I'm pretty sure that someone has done it with sharpie at least. But if it has been done before, could someone share the template they used to make the decal? I thought about dyeing the dog to the color or painting, but that would be harder than applying a decal and also I want to keep certain parts of the dog, not dyed/painted if I did that. So what are your thoughts? Should I just paint and add details? or should I keep trying to find a dog template for it? And btw, this is for an idea of mine, and if I can get a decal template for it, then I would customize the other parts that I need for it. ~Beltar

I have a decal request for: The Torso mainly, arms aren't necessary, nor heads. But one request to whoever does this, can they recolor it in a style of Blacktron I? Like: the light blue = black, white = yellow, and dark blue = white? I'm not sure on that one... Anyways, thanks in advance if anyone decides to do it! ~~Beltar

Well here's mine: Beach Turtle! "Sometimes you just need to relax in the summer, the Beach Turtle can bring it to you! Equipped with an isolated island with a Coconut tree, and a large umbrella!" (More photos in my photostream! Including one with a beachball ) And yes, it does fit with the umbrella on an 8x8. Turtle Angle 1 by DADUDEDOWNDASTREET, on Flickr ~Beltar -
Well, here it its with the new tiles and 1 x 1: Blacktron I Logo Updated by DADUDEDOWNDASTREET, on Flickr

Yes, tis the Triforce. I'll try swapping the yellow tiles, and I will add a black 1 x 1 there, don't know why I didn't think of that. As for the mixing the two, I never really liked it either, but Beltar (Me!) is from the Future Generation. Also in my photostream there is one with a Blacktron I fig. Anyways, thanks for the comments/tips! ~Beltar

This is my thread a bout a Moc type thing so I'll get on with it. Presenting by Blacktron One Logo. Hello eurobricks! I am Commander Beltar of the Blacktron Future Generation Space Fleet, and I am now part of eurobricks. All joking aside, I have been a guest on eurobricks for a long, long time. Never made an account cause I felt I didn't need one, until I was finaly drawn in by some other recent board activities other than posting MOCs, showing of custom minifigs, etc. (All who read the front page can probably guess what) Other random history on me collecting Lego: I have been collecting Lego for a long time. Like as long as I can remember. As you can probably tell by now, my favorite theme in general is Space! I like most other themes too, but there are a few I don't like. I also have a flickr and a brickshelf under a different name, And I look forward to being a member of the eurobricks community! ~Commander Beltar Blacktron Forever...
