  1. Pity they aren't releasing an Ebon Hawk or XS Stock Light Freighter. Yes, they aren't "main"-mainstream, but they are certainly as main as the Azure Angel(Not to mention that the XS is still in use, unlike the Angel.).
  2. I'm guessing it's just a countdown...but the Fantastic Four... Please, please, please let it be classic style Reed Richards, if it is(the version that appears in LMSH). That would be the perfect hairpiece for my Ransak custom... Chances are, though, it will be the Bionicle "reveal." Because we aren't supposed to know it's coming out next year...
  3. I'm still trying to figure out what the frogs are for. They're too short for a monkey mold, and we already have the Zookeeper monkey, which they would almost certainly use rather than a new mold. Are we finally journeying to the mystical Frog Island, rumored burying place of the Croaking Treasure, held in the evil, slimy clutches of the Dark Toad???
  4. I'm guessing it's less "HUGE news!," and more "Bionicle leaks? There haven't been any Bionicle leaks. We, uh, don't have any idea what you're talking about. And you haven't heard anything about our plans for Bionicle next year. Because, we, uh, may or may not have any. Probably. QUIT LOOKING AT US LIKE THAT!" But, the test card is interesting...I do think there's a chance it could be related to the TLMII. Hard to say. Bionicle brought in more cumulative dollars, but TLM has more of a public following. It's hard to say which is the more important franchise, especially since one isn't running. Yet.
  5. I like the canisters, because of the relationship to the storyline, and how they were the "pills" that delivered the "medicine," the Toa. But, if it's a continuation, Mata Nui is already cured, so there is no need for them.
  6. Actually, the canon has been upheld. Here's a brief overview of the more obvious cross-overs. Clutch Powers establishes Castle, City, Agents, Space Police III, and Power Miners. Power Miners's "Brains" was re-hired by the Atlantis crew(confirmed cross-over by LEGO designers.) In the LEGO Club Magazine, after the Atlantis discovery in 2010, the crew of the Neptune, Earth saw the second invasion of Earth by Hypaxxus 8, in preparation for the third invasion, later that year. The invasion would be thwarted by the Alien Defense Unit. Castle, City, Agents, Space Police III, Power Miners, Atlantis, Alien Conquest, Pharaoh's Quest, Dino, Ninjago...the list keeps growing, and more and more connections keep being made. The listed ones are some of the more obvious - I can keep going for quite a few more*. *For instance, Josh Thunder, from Dino(which was an attack by Hypaxxus 8) is a confirmed descendant of Johnny Thunder, securing the entire Adventurers line firmly into canon.
  7. I haven't been able to see the latest few episodes due to personal life, but I was wondering if there was anything in them that contradicted my personal theory about both Ninjago and Chima: Ninjago and Chima both have "pulsar moons" orbiting them. Pulsar moons are small moons that seep gravity away from the planet, and cause a low-gravity field effect. This effect keeps not only the Ninjago Lightning Nun-chuck chains floating, but also Mount Cavora. Pulsarmoons by Lind Whisperer, on Flickr
  8. I would be more than glad to contribute. Is there any chance we might consider doing this in the manner of Heroica, instead of GoH?
  9. Can you build something in this, and then open it in LDraw?
  10. I'm not exactly a Genwunner, but if Bionicle proves to be a reboot I probably will be... We also need to quit comparing Transformers to Bionicle. All Transformers media is canon. All. Now, if LEGO considered Bionicle part of the main LEGO canon, '01 to '09 Universe could be in another universe, as proved by the U.F.O. commercial. They don't, so it won't be. Unless it's also canon in its own stream...yeah, multiverses are complicated...
  11. The skull is lifted directly from the 1996 Volcano Island. Interestingly, this will be the third time they've used this build. The first was in the original set, and the second was a cleverly placed quick-build in LEGO Universe's Gnarled Forest. Agreed. But these don't even give anyone a place to start... True, but I and a lot of FOLs enjoy sets out of the box, and "detailing" them separately. I would honestly be somewhat embarrassed to have these on display, in stark contrast to the 2009 line.
  12. The LEGO Movie is not actually canon, in regards to the main LEGO canon. It is a very nice movie, one which I must see, but it is in no way rooted in the main LEGO canon. It exists in its own, separate "canon", whereas Clutch Powers is firmly rooted in canon, and connects to many, many other themes through a long string of cameos, shoutouts, and timelines.
  13. Two things: I just realized the T-16 Skyhopper comes with the Eta wings in Trans Clear - those could be used for an incredible roof! Also, look at the black-garbed Imperial leader in the AT=DP. He's carrying the same gunsaber as Purple Wookie Reject Guy!
  14. I really like the AntiMatter character. He's suitably close enough to Omega* to be used in his place, at least until LEGO hurries up and finishes that plot line... *Either that, or he is Omega...
  15. Sabine is presumably included in the speeders pack because in the first 7 minutes of poorly written fan fiction the pilot episode, she jumps down onto the back of the speeder bike Ezra stole.
  16. I like the purple leaves - I see some possibilities in those!
  17. Different people, different books. I like the panels simply because they allow for more interior space. Also, not everyone can afford huge expenditures on basic bricks(and there are reasons why I can't use Bricklink), and panels allow for far larger walls than otherwise might be possible.
  18. No, Castle 2013 at least came with a decent supply of generic bricks(except for their refusing to use the classic sword ). This isn't Castle 2013 to Castle 2007, this is Galidor to Bionicle.
  19. The TIE-Advanced is a Rebels ship, apparently. On the minifigures list, it lists the Inquisitor.
  20. Easy explanation. The sets were renamed for other countries. It happens all of the time with movies(seriously, Google it. You'd be surprised the names they come up with.) Someone thought "Krata" was a real word, and it wasn't translated, and the name was switched to one that could be translated.
  21. Uh... "Backs away slowly." Uh... "Starts to run away slowly." Seriously...it's like LEGO was trying deliberately to... These are... The only thing I like is that there looks like there will be a new headrag in white. The only thing. That, and there will be some cheaper sails. Really cheap sails, the discounts we'll be seeing... I know it's a prelim, but seriously - you can see the finished models in them. Change a few torso and headgear, and it's the final release. I...don't really have anything to say. Wow.
  22. I'm guessing that yes, this will be a continuation. They wouldn't use the Mask of Life in as prominent a position as that without a sincerely good reason. Has that image ever appeared in anything before? Because if not, then it probably was specially made for the new line. And it seems to me, if you're going to be making a new render, you might just as well use the correct Mask rather than the incorrect one...
  23. "I have a feeling in my bones that tells me...no." "On it! Don't let him get under your skin!" Lind takes careful aim, and targets the Broker with his Darker Ethereal Deck, readying himself to attack the second Alex is done.
  24. My personal motto: New parts are always useful, just so long as we get the old ones released at least once in all possibly necessary colors(and if it's only a single one in a single set, preferably make that one at the low end of the price-point).
  25. I don't suppose that the extra-secret reference is the hooded character besides the Did we already get an Omega reference in that? I was assuming that it was just a call forward to the rumored Anti-Matter character... Is_this_Omega by Lind Whisperer, on Flickr The hologram/computer screen. Omega is on the far left. It's the not the best picture, but it shows the main attributes - hooded, no visual facial features except for a few unidentified grey shapes. Since the other two villains match their profiles,(Mallock and Squidman(Or possibly Squid-Tron, seeing as how he managed to imprison Squidman in his own bathroom)), it's presumable that Omega matches his minifig. Up until now, the only two possibilities have been Baron Typhoonus(unlikely), and young Lloyd Garmadon(the TV series almost definitely rules him out - although I haven't fully ruled out the chance of some bizarre time traveling duplicate...). Is the hooded figure Omega?
