  1. great job on the greebling (especially that extra shaping to the wall along the green stripe) and nice clean build as always
  2. Can we get an exception to this for CBC entries? The two competitions overlap well and it would be nice way to get more exposure for SoNE.
  3. Alien build for Challenge 2 Cat. C Aboard the Zoid Slave Ship, "Queen Bee," members of the Merchant Confederacy have come to the aid of their captured comrades. Before freeing their friends, they must fight their way past the Zoid guards and navigate their way back to the holding pens. [Challenge 2] [Cat. C] - 1 by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr [Challenge 2] [Cat. 4. wow. this seems so much larger than i think it is, maybe because of how clean it is along with the depth the greebling and other structures make it feel. great concept, too. is he pulling a back-to-the-future fade-out-before-the-wall or is that meant to be a hangar door that opens for him? the last couple of pictures make it look like he just disappears but i couldn't tell if that was just showcasing the empty hangar. beautiful work as always
  5. Bob, please purchase Domination for Dummies for Kabel. Thanks
  6. you had me until the bird came in. that truck is really cool and i like the flora
  7. amazing, clean build as always. any chance we can see how you supported everything in the back?
  8. excellent texturing/greebles throughout. it seems fitting for MANTIS to be driving around with SCUDs
  9. Please purchase Domination for Dummies for Mrcp6d and send 350 Gold to MANTIS, thank you
  10. Great photography. It'd be interesting to see your set up. I kind of agree with Artizan. This Episode is not a race, take your time, create your own original mech, and try to give the figs more of a Star Wars feel (shouldn't they have some kind of helmet and oxygen on the surface of an asteroid?). Glad you're so excited to build for SoNE.
  11. Thank you. Sorry, no play features. I was unaware of the Boulder Blaster so I'd say the similarity merely comes from using WW2/Sky-fi planes as source material
  12. Thanks everybody. Sorry, I meant to respond to this a while ago and forgot. The cockpit arrangement is a little different. The navigator is facing aft and sits lower than the pilot, but he gets a better view out the top of the cockpit. The pilot, is high and back and has a full peripheral view out the front and sides of the ship. Thank you (for both comments :)) and for the bump. I skipped freebuilding this week and was feeling left out.
  13. i think you have too many colors fighting against each other here. if you stick to a single greebling color, it helps the depth and texture of the greebles stand out more. the lay out of the scene is good
  14. cool mech and vehicle design. your landscapes are also drastically improving. some 1x green plates would help give the ground a little more subtle variation but your foliage layout is good.
  15. the transition of the cockpit back to the engine is really well done, especially with the way the flags and tiles stick out
  16. i think this is the best version of this canopy, it fits in with the size and shape of this ship much better, imho. the guns are great here and great greebling overall
  17. interesting windshield, it makes for a very tight little ship
  18. very cool. love the shaping and color scheme, but the wings seem a little messy, a little bit smoother transition on the ends would have been good
  19. i really like the side by side supports you used to hold the engines and how this looks like a space tank
  20. Hombre is so cool
  21. i like the update, does Kodan know you're spending so much time with his "girl"
  22. awesome shaping and smooth transitions between sections
  23. i like the columns you used to hold up the building. the grilled floors make me think that it's one big human bbq... yumm. I think the interior could have used a little more SNOT work but the greebles you used on the side and the outer deck and railing are cool, as well as the overall shape of the roof/building
