Thanks for all the comments Well if he was too fast the story would be boring. There is a little bit of color that I didn't realize was unseen in my edited shot. I added another angle in a spoiler tag above

Location: G08 - Xerillian Tags: Vehicle, Spaceship / Airplane, Exploration, Science Pilot and interim CEO John Hannibal barely escapes the "jaws" of one of the most dangerous denizens of Xerillian, G08. [G - 08] LIVE BAIT by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr The pressure is on the would-be executive as he struggles to keep his corporation afloat. Where will he steer the Octan's scientists, chomping at the bit for more challenging pursuits, trusting Octan leadership to deliver a path to success? Hannibal has made his decision. Now he gathers a supply of the most ruthless, hungry beasts that Octan has faced thus far, risking his own life to lure this particular creature. As he flies low among the dunes, the giant worm is close behind him. Hannibal brings his speeder closer to the sand, sacrificing his speed and kicking up a large wake of sand. The worm speeds up and closes in. He's almost there. Almost there... The worm lunges at Hannibal as the speeder dives into LaRose's newly discovered cave. It is uncertain what stuns the giant worm more, bursting through the rock at full speed, or the disappearance of its would-be meal. An Octan cargo ship quickly pulls the beast out of the hole and into a secured container. Soon Hannibal will deliver his bounty of death to I06, the future home of a new training facility unsurpassed in its rigorous curriculum and exceptional faculty. The future of Octan is bright. Nothing can stand in its way.

[MOC] Modular Tatooine - Imperial Outpost
goatman461 replied to goatman461's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks everybody based on the lars homestead just a shade for the patio table nothing planned, but that would be cool, this will probably get scrapped for parts since the next LUG event is not until this fall and I plan to do a SHIP for that -
Modular Tatooine - full by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr I wanted to try a modular and thought my recent SoNE build lent itself well to the format. I basically borrowed the Parisian Restaurant's layout and piled on from there. The bottom floor has a prison, dewback depot, and armory. The second floor has a patio, bar, and communications room. And the top layer is just equipment/greebles and some features reminiscent of Mos Espa. I thought of this outpost as a structure requisitioned by the Empire and converted to a lame attempt at asserting their dominance. I hope y'all enjoy it. Sorry there aren't more pictures.

this is awesome, aside from being funny, the lab is arranged in such a genuine, realistic manner. so many great details and excellent use of the window/desert outside,

oops, sorry Bob, I used the participants in the last episode to jot down that list, I guess you should build for the episodes more
-
Woohoo. Big victory for the Empire and for Spreadsheets. I hope everybody will come join WickNole, Lucas, Beltar, Tyrus, Tariq, Graham, and Dragonfire on Andromeda's Gate while the next episode gets dreamed up.

interesting take on the ground that really works well against the super clean building. I don't quite get the purpose of the roof's features, but it sounds like they'll come in handy. great job
